Position: 2443 Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants & Tenders
Location: Homebased
Salary: £39,595 to £46,671 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

You will be working for one of the UK's leading children's charities, firmly supported by Christian beliefs and values, helping to support disadvantaged children and their families through delivering projects to support children, young people, their families, and communities to find long-lasting solutions to the challenges they face.
The Role
As the Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants & Tenders, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of voluntary income, with a target of reaching £5,000,000, and expanding the reach of the Family Hub services across the UK. This role is not just about numbers—it's about transforming lives.
You'll lead a dynamic team of fundraisers, crafting compelling grant applications and proposals that resonate with the charity’s mission. Your strategic thinking and proven track record in developing and managing grants will be crucial as you work alongside passionate colleagues to secure the funds that fuel this work.
Beyond managing the team, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring that grant-funded programmes are not only successful but also align with values of compassionate, fair and committed. With your leadership, you will continue to strengthen family bonds and provide life-changing support to those who need it most.

About the Role
The Retail Business Manager, South provides a new opportunity to be a part of the evolution of Save the Children Retail.
This role will play a pivotal part in leading and inspiring change, motivating teams, bringing the Save the Children culture and our vision to life.
This role will be vital in providing clarity and direction with regards to how we operate (see our How Our Shops Operate document attached), guiding and engaging shop teams to drive the business to optimum operational success, as well as harnessing commerciality and embracing localism in line with each shop's proposition.
The current shops you'll manage include Sidmouth, Totnes, Clapham, and Lymington but please note that these shops/locations will change as the business evolves.
About You
Essential skills & experience:
• You'll have exceptional people management skills, including strong leadership and motivational skills.
• You will be entrepreneurial and driven by results with the ability to recognise and prioritise opportunities with the greatest potential.
• You'll be experienced in driving and delivering change management.
• You will be experienced in managing multiple sites and staff, comfortable with providing remote guidance and direction.
• You'll have a valid driving license and be willing and able to travel regularly to the shops you manage.
This role provides an opportunity for someone with relevant experience in a similar role, looking for a fresh challenge and the chance to hone and utilise their skills to make a positive impact.

Ways of Working:

Many children fall behind with reading simply because they lack the opportunity to practise: we work to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. Chapter One’s unique, online, reading support programme pairs struggling 5 to 8 year olds in over 11 areas of the UK with over 3000 volunteers who are recruited from a range of local and national businesses.
We are seeking a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to be an integral part of a team which aims to both maximise corporate income and deliver an excellent partner experience. This is an opportunity for an early career professional to learn about charity-business partnerships in a dynamic, small charity which is flexible and agile.
Reporting to our Corporate Partnerships Manager, but also working closely with our Business Development Manager, you’ll support them both to deliver our annual volunteer targets and maintain our strong partner retention rate (currently 88%). This will involve supporting both the identification, acquisition, and onboarding of new partners, but also the account management of a portfolio of existing partners.
