The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with such a reputable client within the education sector. We are looking for a School Engagement Manager to join for a 6-month initial period, working on exciting projects and making a direct impact to their audiences.
Some of the key responsibilities would include:

Lead on brand marketing activities and providing a customer perspective for colleagues across the organisation’s content development and overall messaging.

Working closely with the head of department on engagement and visibility plans.

Create content marketing strategies for social media, newsletters alongside delivering campaigns.
-
Managing social media channels to connect with the organisation’s brand and in turn, increase both reach and engagement.

Using analytics and data (both online and customer/school data) to make pro-active suggestions to the senior leadership team for approaches which will increase the impact of their brand marketing and communications.

Creating effective reporting mechanisms to measure the impact of engagement activities and monitor performance against KPIs.

Working closely with the product marketing team to ensure brand marketing and product marketing are aligned and effectively scheduled.

Co-ordinating the organisation’s offering at events (virtual and in-person), including logistics, content preparation, promotion, staffing, budgeting and admin as required.
Some of the ideal experience required for this role would include:

Working within the education sector or public sector.

Experience with product marketing and having senior marketing experience across a range of channels.

Strong project management skills.

Strong stakeholder management experience, having the ability to adapt to different audiences.

Basic understanding of market research techniques.
This is a fully remote role, with occasional travel into their West London office.
£41,000-£46,000 pro rata (paid on a day rate inside IR35) depending on experience.

The Sherborne is a newly established arts destination funded by the exceptional generosity of Michael and Sally Cannon. Set within the beautifully restored Grade 1 Georgian Sherborne House, The Sherborne offers a multifunction art gallery and studio space, a state-of-the-art Pavilion for events, performances and film, a restaurant, bar, shop, workspace and a sculpture garden in a natural amphitheatre. Plans are in hand to add a community and educational facility.
About the role
We seek a dynamic Chief Executive to lead its strategic and operational vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising, implementing and leading a comprehensive five-year strategic (2024-2029) business plan, ensuring the commercial activities and fundraising efforts underpin the artistic and cultural programme within defined financial parameters.

The Talent Set is delighted to be working in partnership with a children’s charity to recruit a proactive and experienced Trust Fundraiser. This role will focus on enhancing fundraising efforts for a major refurbishment of one of their largest children’s hospitals. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing funds to support a significant renovation project that will introduce enhanced multi-functional spaces, improved accessibility, a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade, and a brighter, modernised environment designed to better support the families the charity serves.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals and funding applications for identified opportunities.
- Engage with donors and funding bodies to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring alignment with project goals and funding requirements.
- Research and identify additional funding opportunities to expand the project's funding base
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate the project's impact and needs.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrated success in securing funding from grant-giving organisations, with a strong track record in achieving financial targets.
- Experience in obtaining funding for major capital projects, showcasing the ability to manage large-scale funding initiatives.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft tailored messages for various audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to work closely with the Appeal Project Team to gather necessary information and ensure the completion of high-quality applications.
- Keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple deadlines effectively, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
