About Us
Mind in Mid Herts is a local, innovative, and experienced mental health provider for people aged 16 years and over. Mind in Mid Herts supports positive mental health working across three themes: prevention, social support, and recovery. We understand everyone’s needs are different and work in a person-centred way to ensure the people of Hertfordshire’s mental health is supported and respected so that nobody has to face a mental health problem alone.
About The Role
This is a new role for Mind in Mid Herts to bring complimentary skills to our leadership team to implement our strategic vision. This role will grow our capacity to identify needs and develop new services, build upon and create new beneficial stakeholder and funder relationships, and support the development of our team. This role will also lead on our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy for our inclusive workforce and community engagement.
Requirements/Person Specification
This is a leadership role that will require:
- Experience of operational management of a charity including finance and budgeting in a not-for-profit environment
- Understanding of funding models in a not-for-profit environment
- Strong commitment to the services we provide
- Compassionate leadership style

The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats, and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London, including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, and more.

We are now looking for a Strategy and Portfolio Office Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week.

The Role
As a Strategy and Portfolio Office Administrator, you will ensure the smooth running of our strategy and portfolio operations as part of our SPO (Strategy and Portfolio Office).
Working closely with project and support teams and internal departments, you will maintain accurate records of our portfolio, ensuring risk registers and project data are up-to-date.
You will support governance meetings by preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and following up on actions.
Additionally, you will:
- Liaise with Finance, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate reporting
- Track the change control data for all projects in the portfolio
- Proactively identify improvements to governance processes and assist with SPO communications
About You
To be considered as a Strategy and Portfolio Office Administrator, you will need:
- Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders across multiple teams
- Excellent organisation skills with a structured approach to work
- Good organisational skills
- Degree level qualification in a relevant area – for example in, Business, Economics or relevant experience

The relaxed environment at our grade II listed, St Matthews, houses our Community Enterprise Centre designed to make us Hull’s preferred choice for shared work-space. This is a new focus for Giroscope and will require expertise, dedication and skill from all the team - but especially from the new Business Centre Co-ordinator, to secure a sustainable and prosperous future.
St Matthews is a newly refurbished, iconic local community enterprise centre celebrating opportunities in social business and enterprise, designed to encourage and build a sustainable local economy; signalling a place of welcome, community, culture and enterprise.

The Role …
You will:
- Be familiar with delivering and achieving sales and room hire income targets
- Become the familiar face and first contact to each new work space member.
- Lead, develop and coordinate community initiatives to connect members. This includes but is not limited to; delivering member introductions, event organising, electronic and print communications.
- Guide new members through the welcome and onboarding process.
- Meet and communicate with members to resolve issues, process membership departures and other issues of complexity.
- Resolve member-related issues to ensure a happy, cohesive community.
- Manage work space member expectations in line with the St Matthews mission.
- Resolve member complaints regarding other members through unbiased investigation.
- Seek opportunities to engage members to discover and discuss members’ business, social and personal objectives.
- Proactively enquire regarding members’ business objectives and identify both St Matthews and member services that could assist in achieving their goals.
- Manage inbound post.
- Implement rules, guidelines and best practices for the community to enhance the member experience.
- Identify and communicate observed weaknesses within community management, sales, events, training, and member experience on a company-wide level.
- Work with Giroscope’s operations team to ensure that all in-house tech is operating correctly at all times.
- Ensure our facilities are compliant with all ongoing health and safety requirements.
