About the role 

As our Head of Legacy and Mid-Value, you will lead the dedicated Legacy and Mid-Value Squad to set and deliver predominantly one-to-many direct marketing strategies that will allow us to unlock the great potential we have within our large and committed supporter-base for donors to give at a higher level either during their life-time and/or by leaving a legacy for children.

You will work within a scrum (championing agile ways of working within the team) to deliver ambitious results and will collaborate closely with the other teams across Fundraising and Marketing as well as contributing to global communities of specialists in Legacy and Mid-Value fundraising.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead the Legacy Engagement and Mid-value Squad to create top-tier fundraising programs.
• Develop and implement integrated plans, budgets, and forecasts for Legacy, In-memory, and mid-value fundraising to achieve long-term goals.
• Establish and maintain a clear vision to achieve the Squad's objectives over various time frames.
• Collaborate closely with the Loyalty Squad, Regional teams, and the Philanthropy team to execute the strategy.
• Create and apply new strategies to promote legacies to key groups like volunteers, high-value donors, and in-memory donors.
• Oversee supporter relationship management and pipeline development for both programs.
• Use data to continually optimize our work for the best use of resources and highest income in the mid to long term.
• Support squad members to independently complete tasks for maximum impact.
• Advocate for the needs of legacy and mid-value audiences in cross-organizational projects.

About you 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Proven experience of providing effective and inspiring leadership
• A good understanding of legacy and individual giving programmes and what drives success
• Experience of managing internal and external creative, direct marketing, telemarketing and digital agencies
• Extensive experience in legacy and/or mid-value fundraising, including prospecting, pipeline development and stewardship
• Proven experience in all the levers of fundraising performance and journey planning (data, media, content, creative)
• Experience using data analysis, insight to improve fundraising performance or pipeline management
• Proven experience of using consumer insight at the heart of strategy, proposition, and journey development
• Proven commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of improving marketing effectiveness and efficiency

The role

We have recently set a new 3-year strategy, leading to a major transformation of the organisation. SAP HANA Systems Accountant

Our London client are looking for a SAP Hana specialist to join them on this exciting programme of work for 12 months

The role will see

• To provide support to the Programme Manager in regards to the implementation of SAP ERP including providing process design and process re-engineering
• Work with significant data volumes; requiring extensive knowledge of the data journey.
• Required to troubleshoot any data anomalies that arise
• Liaise with the offshore SAP Teams to rectify any technical issues.

• Work with Head of Finance to finalise the Academy budget for presenting to Director of Finance & Resources and the senior management team.
• Ensure that finalised forecasts and budgets are accurately imported into the accounting system and a full audit trail is maintained. 
• Assist the Head of Finance and senior management team with the preparation of multi-year forecasts and models for bids and scenario planning.
• Working closely with budget holders, act as finance business partner and critical friend by challenging assumptions and broadening their financial thinking in order to objectively assess risk and ensure consistency across teams with financial inter-dependencies.
• Providing adhoc advice to budget holders and programme managers on financial matters and contract agreements.
• Monitor expenditure on restricted funded projects to ensure compliance with terms of funding arrangements, manage grant claims and income and expenditure recognition, and discuss any over/under spending with budget holders and flag to Head of Finance as appropriate.

The role of a Step Down Worker is to provide ongoing support to IDVA clients where the risk has been reduced to a safer level or where a client is referred into the service as medium/standard risk.. The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a BAM Counsellor to support our BAM Team.

Becoming A Man (BAM) is a two-year school-based counselling and mentoring programme that guides young men as they learn, practice, and internalise social-emotional skills, make responsible decisions for their future, and become positive members of their school and community. BAM was first developed in Chicago by Youth Guidance in 2001 and has been validated by two randomised control trials, having shown long-term positive outcomes for young people. Since 2020, BAM has been delivered in six secondary schools across Lambeth and Islington by the Mental Health Foundation (MHF).

MHF is seeking two new Counsellors to join the team in continuing the programme across schools in Islington. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with teachers and school staff, effective leadership skills, and a background in youth engagement will be required.

What does the role involve?

· leading and facilitating four to five weekly BAM groups during the school-day, utilizing youth engagement, clinical counselling, Men’s Work, and Rites of Passage skills;

· collaborating with school administration, teachers, and other Mental Health Foundation programmes to provide and participate in professional development sessions.

· The appointed person will be able to effectively engage diverse groups of young people in group activity and be proficient in recording confidential case notes in a timely manner.
