We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our Mental Health services. The role is a peer support worker, who would facilitate groups, and help us with the smooth running of Mind BLMK services. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the recovery journey needed to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. If you feel like you would be suitable for this role, we can’t wait to hear from you.
Service Delivery
- Facilitate Peer Support groups and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs and achieves the service’s KPIs.
- Support clients to access other services within Mind BLMK.
- Encourage and support client engagement with Mind BLMK through the influence and participation process, Guarantor Membership, and training opportunities.
- Identify and build good working relationships with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, community groups, relevant services and activities for partnership work and signposting as well as keep updated information about them.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Mind BLMK team and relevant key post holders.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

The Role

The Role

The post-holder will work with the Cinema Manager and the team of nurses and volunteers who support our MediCinema, and will work closely with them, the hospital, and with central office operations team to prepare for and run successful film screenings each week.
We run 4 regular inpatient screenings each week which includes evenings and weekends. The roleholder will be required to work on Saturdays as one of the two days to be worked each week. There will also be a programme of additional Tailored and Personal screenings on top of these regular inpatient screenings.
The role offers a unique, exciting and extremely rewarding opportunity for someone interested in a service delivery role at the heart of our charity, involving direct contact with the patients and families we support.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Help the Cinema Manager collate, analyse and report back on agreed metrics and KPI’s
- Assist with arranging and running any special events and special screenings
- When required, arrange and run additional personal screenings for patients unable to attend regular screenings, plus special tailored screenings with particular hospital departments and patient groups.
- Support the development and roll out of any new type of screenings we embark on.
- Support the delivery of our complementary bedside services, such as our Disney ‘Moments that Matter’ work.

Tree service.
Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.
Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from
across the UK and includes the provision of high-quality content and regular communications.

We are looking for a Giggle Doctor Programme Administrator to join our busy programme team, to support the day-to-day operations of our Giggle Doctor programme for hospitals.
This is a part-time, one-year contract to support the running of the Giggle Doctor programme while a member of the team is on maternity leave. We are flexible as to which days are worked, providing that the post-holder has a fixed working pattern over a minimum of 3 days per week. Job Description
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Administration
· Act as first point of call for artists regarding their visits to hospitals, overseeing sickness, cover and changes to their schedules
· Support artists with hospital administration and contracts
· Keep artists updated with changes in Theodora Children’s Charity’s policies
· Process changes to the Giggle Doctor schedule on our internal systems
· Liaise with hospitals and keep them up to date with information about their programme of Giggle Doctor visits
· Set up meetings with hospitals, artists and Theodora Foundation colleagues as required
· Book long-distance travel and hotels for artists for hospital visits and training events when required
· Support the Finance Manager and Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with collecting and filing timesheets, invoices and receipts for payment
Training and Events
· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with events, including booking rooms, resources and catering
· Attend training events for Giggle Doctors, setting up and packing down as needed

This project manager role is responsible for effective coordination of resources of the SECO and Horizon projects primarily, as well as a number of the NRF team project management tasks.
This includes coordination with project partners, ensuring project documentation, annual plan development and more; ensuring any issues are escalated in a timely way, and that project(s) can achieve their objectives on time and budget.
