I am delighted to be working with an amazing children’s charity in search of an Interim Recruiter. This is a full-time, London based hybrid (1 day per week in office) role for around 3-months. As the Recruiter you will work alongside the Resourcing Manager to implement a more proactive approach to talent acquisition at the organisation and strengthen the inclusive recruitment practice across the organisation.
Main duties:
Collaborate with the Resourcing Manager and Diversity and Inclusion to Lead, to enable the organisation to enhance inclusion best practice in our recruitment
Manage the end-to-end inclusive recruitment process, policies and Applicant tracking System, using that knowledge to advise, guide and equip recruiting managers to employ inclusion best practice in their recruitment campaigns.
Advise, coach, provide proactive search support to recruiting managers to develop a successful campaign first time
Talent map and attract passive applicants to apply for vacancies, using all available candidate databases
Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other online platforms and resources to develop talent pools by researching, identifying and engaging with a diverse range of candidates, demonstrating the charities values at all candidate touch points
Alongside the Resourcing Manager, deliver training in best practice inclusive recruitment.
Liaise with People Assistants to review the job advertising and marketing materials in line with the brand and tone of voice
Support the design and delivery of recruitment data and analytics, to inform and track progress and improve practice.

We are a large and busy Church of England parish and are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Operations Manager to join our leadership team. You will be someone who can oversee all the operational elements with appropriate attention to detail and processes and also take a full part in supporting new developments in line with our vision.
Our Operations Manager is moving on after almost 3 years in post so we are looking for someone to lead our Operations Team at All Saints Church, Ecclesall.
The role requires the oversight of four areas of church operations:

Administration including finance

Communications
-
Estates
-
Governance
You will manage the operations team (6 staff) and work closely with the ministry team, a wider range of active volunteers and users of our halls complex. You will be able to deal with issues sensitively and with an approach appropriate to our Christian faith. The role does include some evening and weekend work but will mainly be carried out during office hours.
Responsibilities:
General Operations Management
1.1 Manage the Church Office to ensure that the working environment and working practices are efficient, flexible and fully reflect the mission and values of All Saints.
1.2 Manage and maintain the church databases and files to ensure kept up to date and fully compliant with Data Protection legislation.
1.3 Working closely with the Ministry Team, including participation in the weekly senior team meeting, manage the church programme and calendar.
1.4 Oversee the preparation of the resources required to support the weekly services, major church festivals and other church events. Lead on arranging some events.
1.5 Oversee enquiries about baptisms, weddings, funerals and church yard.
1.6 Provide informed support to volunteers in all areas of administration and operations covering a wide range of regular and adhoc activities.
Communications
2.1 Support the Vicar in ensuring timely, appropriate and effective internal and external communications including the weekly e-mail and hard copy church notices.
2.2 Ensure that the website is regularly reviewed and updated, as required.
2.3 Manage All Saints’ profile and activity on social media.
2.4 Respond to enquiries and requests from the Diocese, local community and external organizations, as required.
2.5 Manage communication with members of the church family in matters relating to news and weekly notices in a timely manner

The purpose of the role is to:
•Deliver a focused HR service to provide strategic direction and leadership to support the organisation-wide HR planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the overall organisational objectives are achieved.
•Strengthen IRW’s relations with the wider community to consolidate and develop the visibility and image of the organisation.
•Facilitate professional and systematic communication and cooperation between the different parts of the IRW family to ensure maximum impact of the organisation’s work.
•Lead on the development, implementation and regular review of the divisional strategy, policies & procedures, processes, work plans and systems to achieve the agreed divisional objectives.
•Lead, manage and develop staff in order to ensure that the divisional is capable of fully achieving its agreed targets, and to provide HR specialist and strategic advice to partners as and when required.
The successful candidate must have or be:
•CIPD membership at Chartered or Fellow level or equivalent experience
•Sound understanding of UK employment law is essential
•Sound understanding and proven experience of HR processes, including but not limited to, change management, organisational development, ER case work, resourcing, compensation and benefits, policy development
•Proven experience of HR business partnering and substantial skills and experience of HR management at a senior level within in a large organisation
•A good understanding, commitment and sympathy with Islamic Relief’s Values, principles and mission
•Proven ability and experience in people and activity management as well as delegating roles and authority in a way in which enables teams to reach their targets/objectives
•Proven experience of developing and implementing strategies and work plans which help to deliver the wider organisational objectives
•Ability to guide staff development towards achieving key performance indicators
•Demonstrable experience in consultative team approaches to decision-making and innovation which motivates and drives teams forward
•Proven ability and experience in analysing data which enables sound conclusions and recommendations to be drawn to work in a way which always considers long-term goals whilst maintaining an overview of its immediate situation
•Track record of working in partnership with senior leadership teams, based on a coaching approach
• Up-to-date knowledge of current employment legislation, awareness of forthcoming employment legislation
•High level of competence in all aspects of managing employee relations
•Sound financial and time management which enables strategic goals to be achieved within budgetary constraints
•Ability and motivation to travel within UK and internationally if required
