Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an international children’s charity to recruit a Face to Face Fundraising Manager that is responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day delivery of the face-to-face fundraising programme nationwide.
This programme will reach the hearts and minds of the public, engaging them in the charity’s critical work and inspiring them to donate the essential funds needed to support children in the UK and overseas. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will provide face to face fundraising and operational expertise in order to deliver effective campaigns.
You key responsibilities will include;
- Driving a successful face to face agency program, ensuring channels are performing against agreed KPIs and target
- Managing budget allocation and optimisation across channels
- Leading on the implementation of the face-to-face compliance and safeguarding programme
- Supporting delivery of our sector leading fundraiser engagement and innovation programme to optimise fundraiser performance and motivation.
- Adapting campaign delivery through a data-led test and learn approach.
- Playing a pivotal role in relationship building with agencies by directly engaging, conducting personal site visits and mystery shops and ensure excellent standards & transparency across all channels.
The successful candidate will have;
- Experience of managing the delivery of end-to-end face-to-face fundraising activity or campaigns and teams.
- An in-depth understanding of the F2F landscape and different agency models.
- Experience of designing and delivering exceptional training to drive engagement and action.
- Experience of effectively managing external partners, such as working with F2F agencies,
- telemarketing agencies and fulfilment agencies.
- Experience of managing large budgets.
- Knowledge and experience of the compliance environment for charity marketing.
This is a hybrid role that requires work from the central London Head office a minimum of 1 day a week. This role may also require occasional travel across the UK to meet with regional teams.

About this role
The Programmes Team is responsible for delivering demand-led services globally; providing tailored capacity building support to organisations and their partners through individual or framework contracts. As Programme Officer, you will work closely with Hub members to ensure events, trainings, services, projects and programmes are delivered to an exceptionally high standard, on time and budget.
This role also includes support to the monitoring, evaluation, research and learning aspects of RedR UKs role, particularly in regards to climate change and engineering in emergencies.
The primary purpose of the role is to enable the delivery of RedR UK’s Ukraine Humanitarian Criss response programme in Ukraine and neighbouring countries (hereafter referred to as ‘the Programme’).
Job Description
MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Delivery of events, courses, services, projects, and programmes

Assistance in the delivery of the Hubs’ events, courses, services, projects, and programmes.

In cooperation with line manager and colleagues, plan and identify tasks, prioritise, and allocate them as needed.

Support the project coordinator in activities, tasks, milestone, or deliverable tracking.

Lead on agreed elements of events, courses, projects, or deliverables, including external and internal representations as required.

Ensure wide communication of events, preparing marketing information and advertising where required.

Proof-read training material as required, and ensure RedR UK brand guidelines are consistently applied.

Organise availability of equipment, refreshments, resources, travel, accommodation, props, vehicle and venue as required. Prepare welcome packs, name badges, signature lists, certificates and other resources as required and ensure these are in place for the relevant time of the event

Respond to trainer and participant requests during the event, as required

Support the delivery of online events and, if necessary, travel to events and provide direct support to trainers and participants at events.

Support the recruitment of external project staff, consultants and Associate Trainers, resource persons and actors including the production of Terms of Reference and ensuring the implementation of fair and transparent recruitment.

Be a point of contact for external project staff, consultants, Associate Trainers and participants where required, responding to queries and providing information and support

Coordinate scheduling, liaison with trainers and interpreters to enable delivery of the Programme.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning

Support the review of training materials for the L&D department, ensuring they are branded and formatted to RedR UK standards

Ensure all monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data is collected and tracked for events, including:

Collating and recording course statistics and evaluation data;

Maintaining accurate Salesforce records for all RedR projects and learning events in the region and as requested by Line Manager;

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential

Language skills – Fluent English and Proficiency in Ukrainian is required for this role.

Event management – Experience of supporting a learning programme, organising learning events and working with consultants.

Specifically, the postholder will be responsible for the following:
Strategy, planning and reporting
- Produce annual fundraising plans and budgets for major donors, trust, corporate and regular givers to engage supporters and develop relationships;
- Work with the Head of Communications & Giving to develop and deliver long-term high value fundraising strategies;
- Manage budgets for fundraising activities and events;
- Report against monthly, quarterly and annual targets, identifying variances and strategies to address where needed;
- Lead on the set up of systems and processes to support effective and efficient fundraising and relationship management;
- Keep up to date with fundraising best practice, policy and relevant legislation and ensure these are reflected in Afghanaid’s approaches;
- Produce pipelines, reports and analysis of major donor, trust, corporate and regular giver fundraising.
Trust, Major Donor, Corporate and Regular Giver Fundraising
- Identify and secure new trust and corporate funding relationships through database analysis, desk research, networking, formal presentations, and producing concept notes or proposals;
- Retain and maximise relationships with existing trust and corporate portfolio through designing and delivering bespoke annual engagement strategies, including exclusive and personalised reports, briefings, calls and proposals;
- Promote cross-department collaboration on trust and corporate fundraising to maximise both unrestricted and restricted fundraising, leading meetings, identifying synergies, and integrating pipelines and prospecting mechanisms;
- Identify and secure new major donors and regular givers, conceptualising and running acquisition campaigns alongside the HC&G;
- Identify potential major donors and high value regular givers within Afghanaid’s donor portfolio and implement plans to develop these relationships;

Data and administration
- Ensure all phone calls, meetings, emails and other engagement with trusts, corporates, major donors and high value regular givers are logged on Salesforce, ensuring records are clean;
- Work with the Database and Insights Analyst to conceptualise and implement key CRM processes that promote efficiency, accuracy and maximise the use of automations;
- Work with the Database and Insights Analyst and other C&G colleagues to ensure all donations from these donation streams are recorded and reconciled accurately on the database;
- Ensure Gift Aid declarations are sought from all eligible donors and appropriately filed;
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure funding contract requirements are adhered to;
- Monitor the Supporter Care email address to ensure all donors are receiving the best possible experience;
