The Role
Develop, manage and review processes and procedures for all fundraising income and data across on and offline platform.

Manage the Supporter Data teams expenditure budget and work with the HODAR to contribute to annual budgeting and regular reforecasting.

Be responsible for management and development of the Hospices supporter CRM, including regular review of the teams CRM needs.

Line manage, develop and provide professional support and guidance to the two Supporter Data Officers.

The Candidate
Experience of CRM database management and developing and maintaining database processes and procedures.

Experience of working with data for marketing purposes, including effective and compliant handling of communication preferences.

Experience of managing income processing and reconciliation.

Experience of undertaking data analysis and presenting this in appropriate formats to inform business decisions.

About the role.

The Supporter Acquisition team at RBL is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media.  The charity is seeking a team leader who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.

The role involves leading an experienced team of two managers and two co-ordinators, and leading relationships with key suppliers.  The marketing programmes include most significantly face-to-face fundraising (from stands in retail space or expos/outdoor events and door-to-door) and DRTV advertising, plus some print campaigns, payroll giving and 3rd party marketing.  The role will also manage development projects that could include aspects of digital fundraising.  An important part of the role is developing advertising for the nation’s largest charity appeal, the Poppy Appeal each November.

The River Thames Boat Project are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to raise the funds to enable them to run cruises and education days on the Thames.

As Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for growing the charitable income across all streams (grants, foundations, corporate sponsors), maximising members program, establishing a sound data base for fundraising and establishing a volunteer fundraising committee. You will develop and execute a fundraising plan and develop strong relationships with prospective and existing funders. You will research potential trust and foundation funders, write compelling bids and ensure effective reporting and stewardship.
