Company Description
Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our ‘3Ps’.
We achieve this in two ways: we improve lives through frontline delivery of public services, and we use our knowledge to change ‘the system’ by fixing the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help. With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda.
Job Description
As a Financial Wellbeing Advisor within Catch22’s Justice team in London, you will play a key role in supporting ex-offenders on probation, focusing on their financial needs. Working with adult males, you’ll explore the root causes of financial hardship and help address debt, benefits, and overall financial wellbeing to build their confidence in managing finances independently.
You will manage a caseload, conducting assessments and developing action plans, while collaborating with local agencies to deliver support. You'll also assist with accessing benefits, banking services, and financial entitlements. The role is autonomous but collaborative, with opportunities to improve service quality and share innovative ideas.
About You
You’re highly organized, process-driven, and able to manage workloads efficiently. With a keen eye for detail and strong writing skills, you ensure timely and high-quality case management. Proactive and resilient, you thrive under pressure and are quick to learn, ready to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll have experience in the Criminal Justice System or working with disadvantaged people, with a passion for making a positive impact.
Qualifications
GCSE in Maths and English, or equivalent
Experience in the Criminal Justice System
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

We help people to collaborate across sectors, reform public services, put citizens and service users at the centre of their work, develop collaborative and system leadership skills, engage with civil society, and learn together to support change.

Candidate Specification
- A university degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., transport, public health, communications, social sciences, international relations, geography, or environmental studies).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, as a minimum. Familiarity with social media content creation, video editing or web content management systems would be an advantage.
- Experience organising events or project coordination would be desirable.
- An interest in international development, road safety or sustainability with a desire to contribute to meaningful change.
- Sensitivity to work effectively with diverse countries and cultures and a willingness to learn about the geographical regional dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently when required.
What We Offer
- An opportunity to work on impactful projects in an inclusive environment.
- A chance to make a tangible difference in road safety, sustainable development, and transport initiatives.
- The chance to work with a small, motivated, and experienced team that will support your development and provide opportunities to grow your skills and career.
