As a Veteran's Clinical Advisor you will:
- Act as the single initial point of contact between the Wounded Injured and Sick (WIS) with the resultant long-term health issues, and the NHS, integrating Help for Heroes input to the medical pathway with the Recovery MDT process.
- Where appropriate develop and coordinate a Veterans Injury Clinic alongside the NHS.
- Provide Clinical advice and support to the veterans, their families/support network and Help for Heroes staff.

Help For Heroes are looking for a highly skilled, professional, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding clinical team. Are you a committed, flexible OT with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience looking to expand your skills and have the opportunity to work with the Armed Forces Community? If you have the ability to work independently but still enjoy having the support of a team, you could contribute your skills and experience to improve quality of life. Are you happy to embrace a flexible work pattern as the position will involve frequent travel to meet veterans in their own homes and communities and other organisational commitments including inductions, training and team meetings which may require some overnight stays? If you have experience of delivering Occupational Therapy in both physical and mental health conditions, then your holistic approach will help improve lives. Sleep difficulties and sensory needs are a large part of the role to enable veterans to live as they want to so experience in these areas would be beneficial.

You will have the opportunity to work in the homes and local communities and be able to support them with physical and mental health needs that are creating barriers to meaningful occupation. By carrying your own defined caseload, you will be able to identify barriers that are affecting veterans’ ability to be as independent as possible and live the life they want to live. We are looking for someone with good administrative skills to join our small and friendly Services Delivery Team. You will provide admin support across the organisation and be responsible for setting up family support courses, both locally and online. Ideally the successful individual will be located within 1.5 hours travelling distance of Hatfield, Hertfordshire as our head office is based in that location and you would be required to go in from time to time. About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.
Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, COVID food hubs and other organisations serving people in need. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and keyworkers.
We were founded in 2016 in memory of Felix Byam Shaw, by his father, entrepreneur Justin Byam Shaw.
Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of the role is to identify and secure new surplus food supply and develop long-term supply partnerships while growing the relationships we hold with existing suppliers. You will play a big part in ensuring that the charity is successful in achieving its objective to rescue and secure a growing supply of surplus food that will take us to our ambitious future meal targets.

We are currently seeking a Funded Programmes Coordinator - Operations for a temporary maternity cover position. As a Funded Programmes Coordinator - Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing the funded programmes at UWC International. This entails collaborating closely with a team of experienced programme managers and leads to oversee impact reporting and financial management across a diverse portfolio of scholarship and education programmes. You will ensure the effective implementation of these programmes, aligning them with the goals of donors, UWC schools, and national committees. Moreover, you will facilitate university scholarship activities and information sessions for students, ensuring their enriching experience. Are you our new Advancement Coordinator?
We are looking for a fundraiser eager to take the next step in their career by joining us and becoming our Advancement Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, you'll support the Head of Philanthropy and the established Advancement team across key fundraising priorities. Your previous experience with managing executives/senior volunteers will contribute to supporting the Director of Advancement in managing the activities and priorities of a volunteer-led fundraising board.
This is a pivotal new position created to contribute to a significant uplift in UWC International’s fundraising and prospect identification efforts in support of the new UWC Endowment and a future campaign. Your work will support the strategic and tactical planning and operational effectiveness of UWCI’s fundraising programme and the strategic development of global UWC funding priorities.
