The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a successful charity which provides membership services to serving & retired members of the UK Armed Forces, NATO, Commonwealth, and their families. The Club, which is close to Marble Arch, has 200 bedrooms, extensive dining facilities, and seven Event Rooms which are available for Club members. Their Event Rooms are hired to generate revenue for the charity. The Club operates a number of schemes to provide free breaks for serving members of the Armed Forces. We are currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator.
The Role
Working across all areas of marketing in the business including Front of House, Membership, Events and Food & Beverage. You will be responsible for all aspects of Marketing including updating the website with new content and imagery using CMS, producing and sending out the monthly e-newsletter, producing and replenishing marketing material and supporting on all marketing projects including print and digital campaigns.
The Person
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail ordinated individual who enjoys being creative. You must have strong experience in Marketing and Communications and be familiar with CMS including WordPress. A strong knowledge of social media management is essential. You must possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Publisher/Excel, along with knowledge of email marketing programmes.

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a youth hub and a community operating from a modern facility in the heart of Blackburn and is open seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. The Youth Zone provides somewhere for young people to go, something to do, and someone to talk to. The Targeted Service Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated team to support young people facing unique challenges. From socio-economic barriers to mental health issues, this role will be to create a nurturing environment which empowers individuals to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
- You will lead a team to delivering high-quality support programmes tailored to the diverse needs of the Blackburn & Darwen community's youth.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders and partners to build a network of resources and services.
- You will champion safeguarding and child protection, ensuring no need is left unmet.
- You will manage team performance, ensuring accuracy in monitoring and reporting activities.
- You will drive improvements through data analysis and strategic planning.
The Targeted Services Manager will have significant experience working with vulnerable children or young people, including at management level, with experience dealing with child protection and safeguarding concerns and knowledge of Child Protection legislation. The successful candidate will be able to undertake needs assessments, a multi-agency approach to addressing the needs of young people and keep accurate records for monitoring and review purposes. You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have experience of delivering group activities, communicating effectively and sensitively with children, young people and adults, and experience of building, managing and sustaining relationships. You will have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing volunteers or mentors to support the personal and social development of children and young people, but this is not essential.
The role is full time. You will need to be committed to working flexible hours which may involve some evening and weekend work. Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone are committed to being a family friendly employer with a flexible approach to hours balanced with the needs of the charity. You will need to travel between the two Youth Zones so a driving license and access to a car would be an advantage.

Digital Engagement Co-Ordinator

This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week (22.5 hours), and this role can involve going to their London office one day per week, or fully remote.
You will work well in busy, being reactive, and ensuring you are following up and supporting the team as best as you can with website and email content, SEO, communication and all digital engagement. Key responsibilities:
- Send weekly emails that are tailored to the needs of audience and inspire them to take action - whether that's signing a petition, making a donation, or signing up to a challenge event.

Senior Media and Campaign Manager
Contract: Fixed term contract for approximately seven months maternity leave cover. With either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.

Hospice UK are looking for someone who is collaborative, has superb news judgement and who is able to pivot quickly from project to project and story to story. You'll need a softness of touch when working with storytellers and hospice colleagues, and the patience and pragmatism to work with internal and external colleagues. You'll need to be decisive, and able to explain complex decisions to journalists and senior management. As well as strong media relations skills, we're looking for someone with a wider understanding of the full communications and marketing mix, and who will have some oversight and strategic control of the charity's digital channels.

Joining a small national team, the Business Partnerships Manager for London will support the London and national Tempo team to expand and deepen the networks of community, public and private sector programmes and to develop new opportunities and partnerships in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Regional Recognition Network Development: You will develop regional recognition opportunities with potential partners, attract a diverse range of regional partners aligned with Tempo funders' objectives, and ensure network variety meets programme and beneficiary needs.
- Lead Generation: You will promote Tempo's work through events and communications, identify and approach new business leads, attend events, present, and network, and coordinate business development enquiries and attend and pitch Time Credits in meetings.
- Management of the London Recognition Network: You will ensure the effective management of the Network, including partner communications and regular network audits, provide leadership for recognition communications, such as newsletters, marketing materials, and social media, contribute to reporting and provide data and evidence, and manage existing partner relationships.
- Support Network Sustainability and Development: You will facilitate local events, trips, and networking meetings, and support innovation, learning, and development across the network.
The Business Partnerships Manager will need to be innovative with ideas and approaches to grow and maintain partnerships. The successful candidate will need to be a good listener and people person as partnerships will be driven by the needs of the volunteers and community members and will have a genuine passion for supporting the development of individuals and organisations. You will be a natural team player to work alongside team members to deliver training and network events and will have excellent and adaptable communication skills. The EIA investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their focus is the protection of wildlife, forests, oceans and climate. The Role
An exciting and varied role, you will come in and work to ensure the smooth running of the gift processing within the department, liaise with Finance for reconciliation of income and expenditure, and manage the fundraising database efficiently and effectively.
Your role will involve the management of the database for the Charity, regular reporting on results from the database, ensure monthly reconciliation of the database with SAGE along with working with the Fundraising team to identify and deliver improvements to the database to ensure the smooth running of processes.
Essential to this role will be data selections and donation processing. This will involve selecting data for appeals, appeal emails and Investigator and Year in Review mailings. You will manage data received from acquisition activity, including lead generation, cash, regular gift and new weekly lottery players and add them to the supporter database.
The Candidate
We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a positive attitude who has strong analytical and excel skills. You should have previous experience of working with a supporter database or CRM (Access Charity CRM would be an advantage but not essential) Furthermore, you should have knowledge of selecting and importing supporter data through bulk imports and exports. Ideally, you will have worked within the Charity or non-for-profit sector, but we do welcome applications from other sectors.
In addition to this, you should be proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365.

The Role
The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.

Responsibilities:

Working within a small team, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys and excels in designing, developing, and implementing integration processes that connect different business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance. Your role will involve collaborating with the Database Officers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements along with supporting the Database Officers and QA Tester with testing within the Boomi platform.
