The Direct Marketing Executive will be a key role within the Acquisition & Development Team, supporting the team and its activities as a whole, but also owning and becoming the expert in specific areas in line with the Fundraising Strategy. Specific areas of focus currently are around digital acquisition, and with a particular focus on ensuring detailed tracking and reporting are in place for all campaigns across the team.
This role sits within the Individual Giving and Legacy team reporting to the Development Lead. It also works closely with the wider Acquisition & Development Manager, the wider Fundraising Division, and cross functionally with other teams within the organisation.

About The Role
The Help for Heroes Community Development team are looking to recruit a team of Community Builders to assist in their reshaped participation and connection strategy. Using Asset Based Community Development, we seek to support the charity’s objective to enhance reach and positive impact for members of the Armed Forces Community facing challenges within their local communities.

About You
You will have experience leading and facilitating the mobilisation of local communities, asset mapping, bringing together people for engagement that matters to them. You will have knowledge and experience of Asset Based Community Development work, outreach methods and you will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to animate local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outreach to drive local connection, engagement and participation opportunities for the AFC

About the Team

These roles focus on building on our established networks to expand peer support in defined areas, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery through strategic outreach and resource development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Group formation and support: Oversee the setup and operation of 10-12 self-sustaining and independent peer support groups within your assigned region across the lifetime of the three-year project. Leadership
· Strive to ensure that the charitable purposes of IPWSO are followed and that it delivers the public benefit set out in its governing document.

AFH has taken a leadership role on advocacy for the ongoing conflict in Gaza and has a long history of being a thought leader on the humanitarian crisis in Syria. In order to help achieve this goal, AFH is recruiting an Advocacy & Policy Manager, where the successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Communications, manage and strengthen AFH’s advocacy campaigns, and develop and build networks to support our advocacy efforts. The Advocacy & Policy Manager will also be the focal point between the organisation and policymakers, in the UK and beyond.
The Advocacy & Policy Manager will advocate the humanitarian needs stemming from the crises in Gaza, Syria, Yemen and other contexts in which the organisation works. They will convey the voice from the ground, to various external audiences, and will build a presence there to promote the organisation’s work, which is rapidly evolving and is entering newer phases.
Your accountabilities as our Advocacy & Policy Manager will include the following:
Building external relations
- Lead on creating and executing an Advocacy strategy and relationship-building plan to ensure AFH is well connected and respected amongst key stakeholders including politicians, policy makers, governing bodies, other NGOs, etc. Regularly seek new opportunities to enhance external relations.
- Represent AFH in advocacy meetings, humanitarian coordination and other forums, conferences, events, and working groups, leading as many as possible.
- Build and maintain AFH’s relationships with influential people and authorities, including politicians and Governing bodies. Facilitate supporting regular and meaningful engagement with them.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional advocacy groups in and around Palestine, Syria, Yemen and other contexts.

- Closely monitor the evolving humanitarian and political context in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, particularly where AFH currently operates, and disseminate written and verbal updates and analysis in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager to join our Regional Fundraising team.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

This role is offering a salary of 52,000 FTE for this 10 week contract, on a hybrid (London) or remote basis. This is a fast moving role and applications will close as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
This role is offered on a part-time basis, with an initial start of 4 days per week for the first month, reducing down to 2.5 days for the remaining 6 weeks.

Freelance Trusts and Foundations Specialist Wanted for Feminist Policy and Campaigning Organisation
Are you an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser with a passion for gender equality? The Fawcett Society is looking for a skilled freelancer to step in as our Interim Trusts and Foundations Lead, supporting our mission to create a society where women and girls are equal and free to fulfil their potential.

About the Role
Position: Interim Trusts and Foundations Freelancer
Location: Remote
Rate: £300 per day
Hours: 2 days per week (flexible, with some need for crossover with key colleagues)

About You
- Passionate About Gender Equality: You have a strong commitment to feminist principles and are deeply motivated to support work that tackles gender inequality.
- Proven Fundraising Expertise: You bring a track record of success in securing significant funding from trusts and foundations within the UK charitable sector, ideally with experience in social justice or advocacy organisations.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Your written communication is clear, engaging, and persuasive, capable of conveying complex issues in a compelling manner.
- Strategic Thinker: You can identify and leverage funding opportunities, aligning them with our strategic goals to maximise impact.
- Self-Motivated & Organised: You excel in a freelance capacity, managing your time effectively, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects.
