Your role will help to win progressive tax reforms, build political support and anchor our campaigning with sound policy analysis. You don’t need a background in tax policy if you can demonstrate an ability to learn and master complex policy briefs. You do need to be hungry for change and be able to convince people in positions of power that progressive tax reform is sensible and feasible. Your policy expertise, political nouse and parliamentary knowledge will help the team to deliver change.
TJ-UK has a track record of securing campaign wins. We have built strong relationships with parliamentarians, policy makers and a network of influential think tanks and organisations. We also have excellent relationships with many influential media outlets, regularly securing extensive media coverage on tax justice issues.
We’re looking for a policy/political expert with a track record of achieving political change and a commitment to tax justice. You will be confident in shaping policy, have excellent knowledge of parliamentary procedure and be a strong team player.

About this key role
You will undertake a broad range of duties, including assessing referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, and producing support and risk management plans based on these assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process.
You will ensure that all young people work towards an agreed support plan which is regularly reviewed and adapted to ensure that they meet their individual needs and goals and deliver a holistic support service that will include social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, education, training and employment options, benefits work, and debt advice.
We will also count on you to build effective relationships with young people involved in the criminal justice system and with referral and regional agencies, whilst closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a survival plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support is also an essential duty.
What we are looking for
- To have worked on an offender-led support project, had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of London
- Experience in negotiation with partner agencies to establish links to further aims of the project
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people, for example people who have complex needs
- Experience in working in local community-based projects
- A relevant qualification to a good standard, or be working towards one
- A sound knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by our client group
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support survivors of torture, trafficking and other extreme human cruelty. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world.
The expertise of the Foundation is renowned in the field. Through the Model of Integrated Care, HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist therapy, medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. Survivors of human trafficking benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join HBF’s specialist multi-disciplinary team, working alongside experts in asylum and immigration law, and trauma-informed ways of working. The purpose of this role is to lead on HBF’s legal and policy work as it relates to our survivor of trafficking clients alongside our Director of Policy. The Counter Trafficking Legal and Policy Specialist will split their work between HBF’s legal and policy teams – spending three days on legal work and two days on policy work, while also liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to manage client needs and ensure expert collaborative working.

Robin Hood Avenue is a small mental health, supported housing service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. The Diocese of Truro is currently undertaking a grassroots change aimed at positioning the Church in Cornwall to tackle the biggest spiritual and societal needs of Cornwall in the 21st Century, this work has been undertaken by the local church, through engagement with a deanery planning process.
The Project Support Officer will help deaneries understand and implement their agreed deanery plan. Much of this work will focus around taking the aspirations of the plans and making them measurable, focusing on the outputs that are needed to achieve the desired outcomes; working with the implementation team to ensure that the plan is delivered according to the agreed timetable.
We are looking for an experienced project support officer who is skilled at balancing competing priorities and effectively utilising project management tools to achieve outcomes whilst building and sustaining fruitful relationships with key stakeholders. Strong people and IT skills are essential as is knowledge of building collaboration and capacity in others.

The Role:
As a Product Lead, you will support the Product Manager in the continuous improvement and management of the portfolio, from design and development through to ongoing monitoring and review.
Main responsibilities:
*Product Development: Design, develop, and review a portfolio of schemes, ensuring they remain valid and relevant.
*Stakeholder Management: Form and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, training providers, and industry groups.
*Project Management: Ensure all product milestones and deadlines are met through proactive project management, including the recruitment and management of third-party Associates.
*System Management: Manage scheme setups and amendments within online systems, including Quartz, XAMS, and Gencarda.
*Quality Assurance: Liaise with the Quality Assurance Team on the setting up of Endorsed Training Programmes.
*Innovation: Recommend and implement innovative training delivery approaches to improve existing schemes and programmes.
Essential requirements:
*Solid experience in product management within an awarding or similar professional body.
*Experience in managing a product portfolio across its lifecycle.
*Strong relationship development skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to write clear and concise specifications and materials.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Familiarity with computer-based learning and assessment systems.

About the role
Your key purpose will be to lead the Assistant Shop Manager and a team of volunteers to maximise sales, deliver excellent customer service and ensure that the shop premises and assets are maintained to a high standard, according to legal requirements and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices (SSCH) policies and procedures.
About you
This role requires experience of line managing employees, experience in managing a shop including knowledge of retail and health and safety legislation and administrative/cash handling experience.
You will also have an ability to deal with customers and maintaining a high level of customer service, have good verbal, written communication skills, as well as being comfortable using IT and EPOS reporting. You will have an ability to motivate yourself and others, have excellent organisational skills and be comfortable working under pressure and dealing with changing priorities.
