This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver SSAFA volunteer support to the serving community.
You will work closely with the Serving Community Manager to develop SSAFA’s support to the serving community through its volunteer delivered Serving Community Teams and the Community Volunteering Service.
You will ensure a safe and quality service is delivered by volunteers, and support them from the recruitment and induction stage through to becoming a fully trained volunteer.
You will monitor and review the service, providing feedback on progress and areas of concern as well as statistical data to the Serving Community Manager.
You will provide support and supervision to Community Volunteers and ensure robust recording and handling of beneficiary data in line with SSAFA’s policies and procedures.
About the team
You will be part of a small innovative team working together to plan and deliver SSAFA’s support to the serving community, rolling out services which will assist volunteers in helping beneficiaries. You will work with all departments across SSAFA and with external stakeholders to raise awareness of the needs and challenges of the serving community and how SSAFA can help.
About you
We are looking for a highly organised individual to deliver volunteering support to the serving community. You will have a good understanding of the unique issues that the serving Armed Forces community may experience, and knowledge and experience of the charitable sector.
You will have experience of managing volunteers, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish working relationships quickly.
As a proactive and motivated individual, you will have good project management skills in order to prioritise your time, and plan and deliver an exciting new services to the serving community.

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser who is keen to develop their skill set across the fundraising mix and looking for an opportunity with strategic input. About the role
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the residential activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.
As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.

A well known UK children's charity are looking for an experienced and successful Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager to help drive their mission forward. This role is key to ensuring they have the necessary funds to support their new strategy for 2023-2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Research: Identify new funding opportunities to increase both restricted and unrestricted income.
- Income Growth: Work with colleagues to maximise income from existing funders and meet all KPIs and financial targets.
- Stewardship: Provide excellent stewardship to funders and maintain accurate records on Salesforce and SharePoint.
- Application Submission: Collaborate with teams to develop and submit high-quality funding applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience securing five and six-figure funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders.
- Strong prospect research and pipeline management skills.
- Excellent relationship management and project management abilities.
- Ability to interpret financial data and understand the Fundraising Regulatory Framework.

Role: Education Administrator

You and your team will play a key role in supporting IRM's Members and third-party partners across the IRM examinations programme.
Main duties include:
- Liaison with third party suppliers, in relation to test centres and preparing multiple choice questions and assessment forms.
- Support candidates with test centre bookings and enquiries.
- Supporting examiners with passwords, deadlines and other queries.
- Assisting in the preparation of exam materials, meetings, data and reports.
- Process applications for assessment review, feedback and appeals.
- Input examination and assessment data onto the membership database.
- Process, collate and despatch examination results to students.
- Support candidates with assessment related queries.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and general emails.
- Attend IRM events, as required.
About you:
You will have administration experience and possess a high digital literacy and confidence in using Microsoft Office packages.
You will have the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
You will demonstrate a high standard of communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, and will be capable of working accurately with excellent attention to detail.

The Website Manager role:
An exciting role as we take our organisation forward with a new website with improved UX and UI. The Website Manager will have responsibility for supporting the end-to-end delivery of the project with the Head of Digital and the responsibility for managing the existing website and migration process.
Key responsibilities of the Website Manager:
- Lead in the management of the current website as supporting well the new website. This includes regular updates, page creation for campaigns and search engine optimisation
- Work with the Director of Marketing & Digital, Head of Digital and the web agency to oversee the content and design, technical work up, and finally the delivery of the website.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Digital team to migrate content to the new website, managing the strategy and timings to ensure this key milestone of the project is achieved on time.
- Organise workshops and other internal meetings to ensure that all directorates have input.
- Assist the Head of Digital and wider digital team in the management of the current website as well as the new website. This includes regular updates, page creation for campaigns and search engine optimisation.
- Create deadlines and action items to achieve the end goal, and be the point person for the management of each item.
- Manage communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date
- Deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Assist the Head of Digital in creating a Standard Operating Procedure for management of the website once it’s up and running.
Essential experience, skills and knowledge required for the Website Manager role:
- Established Website manager with at least 2 years’ experience of managing websites daily
- Experience of large-scale website projects including CRM/Database integrations is key
- Proven skills of managing all elements of a project from end to end including agency management, stakeholder management, build, design, testing and any relevant integration of co-dependent data ie. CRM system
- Exceptional PM skills including timing and budget control and ensuring internal team is kept up to date at all times
- Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture whilst being operational
- CRM/UX/UI: Expert in content management systems and have extensive experience in developing user journeys, optimising user experience and delivering multi variate testing
- Excellent PC and web skills
- A great understanding of SEO and the impact of actions on search visibility
- A positive, personable and confident communicator
- Responsible and the ability to work on own initiative
- Motivated, cooperative team player

Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health.
We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects as well as medium support and transitional housing units to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night. You will be working across Brighton and Hove as well as Worthing to support the static night worker during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties.
Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures. You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.
This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.
Our Mobile Night Workers work on four nights on, four nights off rota, working 8pm-7am including working over weekends and bank holidays. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.

You will already have clear verbal and written communication skills, good IT and keyboard skills and the ability to self-motivate. You will be an effective communicator who is able to deliver robust, clear handovers and build strong relationships with other members of your team. In addition, you will have the ability to de-escalate volatile situations and manage challenging behaviour appropriately.
