Acts 435 is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Content Officer to play a key role in communicating the charity’s vision, mission, and impact through engaging digital content across social media and its website. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of content that resonates with the charity's community of donors, churches, and supporters. This role will help increase awareness of Acts 435’s work and contribute to growing its donor and church/charity networks, while maintaining it’s Christian ethos.

The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for producing social media posts, videos, graphics, and more to support the charity’s online presence, as well as campaigns and appeals throughout the year. They will also utilise digital content to help grow the network of church/charity partners. This is a part-time, flexible position that requires a passionate individual with a strong ability to tell stories through digital media.

Based in London, SLOW (Surviving the Loss of Your World) has offered emotional and practical support for over eighteen years to bereaved families in the UK that have lost a child in any circumstances. Our unique approach to working with parents and siblings is highly regarded by our members and professionals and we are proud to have won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Our work is centred around regular support groups for bereaved parents, adult siblings and creative workshops for bereaved younger siblings. All our groups are facilitated by trained bereaved parents or siblings. Our members regularly refer to our groups as a ‘lifeline’. Our model of bereavement support is unique and is a direct response to what bereaved parents have told us they need.

SLOW is a registered charity with an income of currently circa £185k. The charity has a stable resource base with a range of income sources – some annual, some on multi-year commitments and other funding resulting from planned and targeted approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Under the leadership of the Charity Director, the Fundraiser will manage the day-to-day fundraising and support the Charity Director in raising funds and developing SLOW’s income to ensure financial stability. You will assist the Charity Director in achieving the annual income and suggest new revenue streams.
• Working closely with the Charity Director, you will manage, monitor and execute SLOW’s annual financial target through a variety of different revenue streams. You will be supported by SLOW’s Business Management Assistant.
• The Fundraiser is part of a small team of paid and voluntary personnel working to maintain and develop SLOW in accordance with its founding principles and ethos. From time to time the post-holder will be required to take on tasks that are the primary responsibility of another if necessary.

Execute grant applications including: ·

• Researching appropriate grants for applications
• Writing and checking of all grant applications including proposing figures and the provision of all supporting documents
• Responding to queries from funders, including meeting/networking with them where necessary

Detailed Description Grants and Fundraising

• Collating and submitting feedback forms including analysis of expenditure versus grant allocations and membership
• Maintain good relationships with officers of grant making trusts and bodies in order to ensure regular and timely compliance with requirements

Assist with all SLOW fundraising including specifically:

• Managing corporate and private donations, charitable retail schemes and digital fundraising channels
• Work closely with the BMA to set up and administrate sponsored events and other ad hoc fundraising activities 
• Researching and proposing additional channels for fundraising  
• Work & liaise closely with volunteers at SLOW events

Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than a million people living in Surrey, South West London and Middlesex. 

The Night Response Team (NR) provides specialist on call palliative nursing care between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00, 7 days a week for palliative care patients known to Princess Alice Hospice.

The Team also provides nursing care and assistance to palliative and general patients who are referred from the district nursing service, the OOH’s service (111), local ambulance services SECAMB and LAS, Mole Valley Telecare and Tunstall Community Alarm services. This includes palliative patients who are not known to PAH. Night Response visit patients in their own homes as well as in care and residential homes.

A Night Response shift will be covered by two members of staff per night, usually one RN and an SHCA, occasionally two RN’s.

We are based in an office on the in-patient unit at the Hospice. We receive calls, provide information, support and advice to patients, families, and other health care professionals, whilst visiting patients as required throughout the night.

The Night Response Service brings the skills and expertise of our highly trained and dedicated specialist team directly into the patients homes. This allows patients, their families and carers access to the vital support they need at home, when time matters most, providing the opportunity for patients to remain at home and reducing the need for hospital admissions.  

 About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, dynamic and versatile Staff Nurse with excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone triage skills, to join our Night Response Team.

Experience in caring for patients who are terminally ill is essential. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have an excellent understanding of care provision in the community and be involved in auditing the service provided. 

You will need a full driving license with a maximum of 6 points for use of the hospice vehicle (automatic)

The Advertising Standards Authority plays a crucial role at the heart of the UK’s media and communications landscape, ensuring that advertising across all platforms is legal, decent, honest, and truthful. We are looking to appoint a part-time finance business partner who can lead our continuing financial planning and analysis work and introduce a high-performing business partnering function.  The successful person will be an excellent collaborator and be able to present complex financial information in an accessible way, draw insights and make recommendations.  They will have good commercial acumen and be a champion for improving business processes.  They will work closely with the senior management team and the ASA’s wider management community and be a member of the corporate services management team.

What you’ll bring

• Qualification. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA – or equivalent experience that proves you know your stuff.
• Sharp communication. You make the complicated simple and can challenge constructively at every level.
• Commercial mindset. Comfortable building models from scratch, interrogating large datasets and spotting the story behind the figures.

H&F Giving is now poised for accelerated growth, and we have ambitious plans to significantly grow our work across the borough in the coming years. Key activities in the short term will include the management and delivery of grants administration and monitoring for a range of funds at H&F Giving including the planned launch of a new fund later this year.

You will also network in the community supporting our community partners and play a key role in developing our impact reporting and helping communicate the impact of our community partners to support our communications, fundraising and partnerships work, and raise the profile of our community partners.

Key responsibilities

· To be the lead Grants & Community Manager at H&F Giving and be well networked within the borough, developing our community stakeholders network and managing a range of key grant management projects to build a strong and connected community

· To be responsible for all grant administration and grant processes from end-to-end from opening grant programmes, reviewing/assessing processes and panel management to decisions made and reporting and evaluation

· To produce impact reports on grant rounds and gather stories from community partners to help drive H&F Giving’s communications, fundraising and partnerships work, and raise the profile of our community partners

Titchwell Marsh is a wetland site abundant in a variety of wildlife including passage and migrant birds. Sitting on the East Atlantic Flyway, Titchwell is an important service station for species moving between Arctic breeding grounds and overwintering grounds in Southern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, it is known for other biodiversity including invertebrates and small mammals. Titchwell Marsh is a busy visitor destination, popular all year round with bird watchers, nature lovers and people wanting a quiet ‘get away’ from city life.

Our other reserve at Snettisham is a globally important estuarine habitat and is well known for its two nature spectacles, the dawn flights of Pink-footed Geese in winter and the whirling wader spectacles in late summer and Autumn. This wild landscape is unstaffed with minimal development to retain its natural appeal. In addition to being a hot spot for tens of thousands of waders, it is also an important site for ground nesting birds and is part of a conservation project to protect nesting Ringed Plovers.

We're looking for a team player with excellent people skills combined with a passion for connecting people with nature. Working at Titchwell Marsh reserve, you'll be providing a unique and fascinating visitor experience inspiring our visitors to support nature conservation now and in the future. This role is fundamental in ensuring we have the highest quality of visitor experience for both new and existing audiences.

You will be working with the Visitor Experience Manager and volunteers to ensure a coherent visitor offer is delivered whilst also working with the HQ team to ensure the highest quality of RSPB visitor experience.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Computer literate to include professional use of social media to adhere to brand requirements.
• Working knowledge of visitor engagement techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.

Why Access Social Care Exists 

Every day millions of older and disabled people are denied the social care they need. Most local authorities can’t meet the growing demand for care, and none are confident they can meet their legal duties in the future. This affects all of us - we will all need social care at some point in our lives. 

We all have a right to hold public bodies to account, but most of us cannot afford lawyers so rely on legal aid. The 92% drop in legal aid cases since 2010 means that we have nowhere to turn. Without access to justice, our rights do not exist. The rule of law is broken. 

What we do 

Access Social Care provides free legal advice and information for people with social care needs, helping achieve a better quality of life. We work with communities to increase knowledge of the law and our rights. We highlight the gap left by cuts to Legal Aid and provide advice for those who can’t afford it. 

With a 98% success rate, our network of lawyers provide access to justice when things go wrong. We collaborate with social services whilst ensuring legal obligations are met. We are working towards a future where social care is adequately funded and we all get the support we need. 

We provide rights awareness training to front line managers, and legal advice and support to families and individuals. As well as providing access to justice, our aim is to drive system level change through evidence-led influencing and strategic casework.

About the role 

Are you an organised, proactive individual with a passion for supporting a dynamic team? This exciting and important role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a growing charity while helping so shape its external communications and marketing strategy.

We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Assistant to support the Head of Communications and Marketing at ASC. In this role, you will help to create, support, and deliver the charity’s external communications and marketing strategy, working closely with ASC teams, including the Executive and Senior Leadership teams. You will gain valuable insights into our work and help deliver and evaluate activities that lead to the effective positioning and promotion of the charity.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation:
  • Drafting and editing engaging content for various channels (website, social media, email, print). 
  • Creating and updating website content.
  • Developing and creating a newsletter to engage an audience of followers.
  • Writing and broadcasting external emails.
  • Creating templates for ASC-wide use based on brand e.g. PPT templates.
• Stories Database
  • Managing a database of case studies that are gathered through ASC case work and through digital channels.
• Social Media Management:
  • Managing and monitoring social media channels, responding to enquiries, and engaging with supporters. 
  • Contributing to the development of social media strategies for specific projects. 
  • Sharing key messages and calls to action on social media accounts. 
• Campaign Support:
