Are you a health or social care professional based in the West Midlands and experienced in supporting dementia carers? Would you like to support the work of a dynamic charity that is growing the reach of its services? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for associates who can support us to deliver a range of activities including the delivery of community-based carer training, one-to-one telephone consultations with carers, dementia awareness training for organisations, and the facilitation of online carer support groups.
We are a remote based specialist team which includes a clinical psychologist, dementia nurse specialist, social worker, and benefits advisor.
You may be in part-time employment, recently retired, or just looking for a more flexible approach to work, whatever the motivation, we are confident you will enjoy being part of our friendly team.

We're looking for associates to join our pool of consultants and trainers on a freelance basis.
From local and national support services to green spaces, sports clubs, museums and the arts, voluntary organisations and volunteers are a vital part of communities across the country.
As the membership community for charities and voluntary organisations, NCVO has championed volunteers and the voluntary sector for over a hundred years.
A key part of our offer is our direct support to voluntary organisations of all sizes through our consultancy and training service. We run this service as a social business, providing cost-effective and high-quality support focusing on the areas that matter most to charities. Our work generates income and valuable insights to support NCVO in achieving our mission.
Our business is growing. We’re looking for a small number of passionate, skilled and innovative team players to work with us on a freelance basis to help us provide expert support to charities across England.
We’re looking for support across all our consulting and training areas. We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with the following skills and experience.
Consultants (with training skills is a plus)

Your experience might come from the charity sector or beyond. You don’t need to have worked as a consultant before, but we need you to be a team player who is curious, analytical, and motivated to create change for our clients.

CIEH is seeking to encourage a culture of governance that promotes openness, transparency, integrity, values diversity, is compliant, accountable and responsive.
The Governance Advisor will:
- Advise CIEH's Board and Committees in line with the governance framework and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide high quality, professional governance services as well as support successful AGMs and elections.
- Work across a full range of governance activities, leading on identifying and delivering opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our governance.
- Provide support for fitness to practice cases and act as hearing co-ordinator to fitness to practice panels.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years, commencing January 2025. As such, the salary noted above does not apply, fees will be agreed as part of the Invitation To Tender (ITT) process.
