The Head of Region provides strategic and operational leadership in the region, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the regional team and the successful development and delivery of the regional business plan and projects. The role drives the achievement of key performance indicators and targets with a particular focus on church income and community engagement. 

Key relationships

Internally, the Head of Region works closely with the Director of Operations and other Heads of Region to support consistent operational delivery, and management and development of regional staff. The role also interacts closely with all other CCT teams including Conservation, Fundraising & Communication, Initiatives & Partnerships, and Finance.

Externally, the Head of Region is CCT’s regional representative, brokering joint working and engagement with statutory and Church of England stakeholders, funders, politicians at all levels, volunteers, communities and donors.

An opportunity has arisen for a lead Support worker to work within our Sanctuary crisis intervention and prevention service, based in Fore Street in Enfield. We act as a short-term A&E and Emergency services alternative, providing support to individuals in the Enfield Borough aged 18+. 

This role is to provide leadership and support to the Sanctuary team on shift. The role will:

• Lead shifts during the week, providing support to team members via case management support, escalation, Health and Safety guidance
• Support the Sanctuary Manager to embed processes within the service, and ensure that these are carried out
• Work alongside the Manager and team to ensure that the service is operating to high quality standard.
• Provide support in times of emotional distress for clients. The support worker will provide a calm, supportive presence.

 The role will support clients through co-producing support plans with practical and therapeutic support offerings, as well as contributing to the development of a warm welcoming environment and ‘safe space’ to be.

This position would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. Ideally experience of supporting people experiencing suicidal ideation. Should have previous experience of supervising or managing staff.

Age UKs IT Service Management Team is looking for an experienced ITSM administrator to take on a new role of ITSM Lead.

Reporting into the ITSM Service Desk Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of our ITSM platform and evidence working with multiple diverse stakeholders. This is a hands-on role configuring the platform and its various modules. We integrate to multiple systems so a good understanding of these is essential. Experience of integrations would be beneficial.

Automation is key to our success in supporting business objectives so the role holder will have practical experience of implementing digital workflow to solve business problems. Using a blend of technical awareness and strong communication skills, you'll lead the ITSM automation backlog for Age UK. Our ITSM platform is built on Hornbill.

You'll be responsible for the line management of the Junior Hornbill administrator, supporting and working with them to bridge the gap between technical aspects and customer requirements to automate IT and other business processes using our ITSM platform Hornbill.

Please note this role is hybrid and predominantly you will be working from home, with occasional visits to one of our regional offices in London, Blackpool, Devon or Warrington. We’re excited to be launching a brand-new Housing First service in Camden next month, and we’re looking for a passionate, skilled individual to join our team! You will be working in a unique new service that for the first time will be offering support to couples who have been rough sleeping and are to be accommodated separately in their own flats. With a three-year commission and the ability to support 30 individuals, this is your chance to be part of a fresh and impactful initiative within our organisation. You will work from a base in Kings Cross, delivering support in the community and within the homes of your clients. You will carry a case load of 5 people and will provide intensive and flexible trauma informed support that is centred around the strengths and needs of everyone. You will work closely with a wide range of external statutory agencies and specialist colleagues in the team who will include: a health worker, an IDVA, psychologist, sessional occupational health, and perpetrator support. 

The service will support an equal number of women and men. The people given priority for the service are likely to have been rough sleeping for prolonged periods, have been multiply excluded from services and have co-occurring conditions. There will be a strong emphasis on safety in situations that might relate to complex abuse within relationships and externally. 

About you:

• Experience working with clients who experience multi disadvantages, including building trust and positive relationships with people who have co-occurring conditions and who may be mistrustful and have a low level of engagement with services.
• A proven track record of achieving measurable outcomes with clients with complex needs.
• Awareness of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and violence against women and girls (VAWG), and an understanding of how the intersection of these issues can be supported and the people involved safeguarded.

About the team

This is an important role based in a busy Operations team which covers office management, information technology, finance and human resources. The team play a key role in supporting the organisation to achieve its mission of supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed.

About this role

We are looking for a talented professional with a strong understanding of CRM and digital systems and a passion for maximising the value of data, who is looking to join an organisation where they can put their skills to use across all aspects of our operations. You will join at a key time to develop and embed our work in this area, providing critical support to all our teams as well as maintaining and developing our cross-organisation systems.

You will lead on the development, administration, and staff engagement with, and training on, our Salesforce CRM system. This will include data from, and working with, all departments of Impetus, including our donors and prospects, our collaboration with partner charities, and our communications with email audiences. You will also manage the relationship with our existing Salesforce partner agency, drawing on them for additional support resource and coordinating broader development projects. The successful candidate will have experience developing and drawing value from Salesforce, including both technical development and collaborating closely with teams to drive engagement and best practice.

You will be responsible for our other cross-organisational digital systems, including our office and file storage platforms, data warehouse, visualisation, and ETL tools, website analytics, and Digital Asset Management system, as well as providing support for our Finance and HR systems, including providing training to staff and answering any questions related to these systems. You will collaborate closely with our Communications team, for example around website and social media analytics and reviewing the progress of the social media strategy. From time to time you may also be asked to provide support or advice to our portfolio charities. The role will also be responsible for helping to drive adoption of GenAI across Impetus.

Key responsibilities

CRM:

• Own the development and administration of our Salesforce system.
• Work with all teams at Impetus to maximise their engagement with Salesforce and provide relevant training.
• Manage the relationship with our Salesforce support partner to leverage additional administration, and development project, resource.
• Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
• Gather information and data to identify business requirements and processes for adding to, or further developing on, Salesforce.

Systems Management:

We are searching for a Communications and Project Assistant to join our team. You will be working with our Brand and Communications Team to craft on-brand communications across our social media platforms and website. In this role, you will support the implementation of our communications strategy and develop content on our website, all whilst following our visual identity and tone-of-voice guidelines.
