We're hiring a CRM Coordinator to support our CRM Manager in empowering staff across the US-UK Fulbright Commission. 

In this role, you'll be helping our Fulbright awards programme team transition to a new grantee management app within Salesforce. You'll play a crucial part in data migration from our legacy system to Salesforce and SharePoint, ensuring seamless integration and top-notch data quality. Your other responsibilities will include managing our Salesforce master data set, designing and generating impactful reports and providing essential first-line Salesforce user support and training. 

To excel, you'll need hands-on experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and a strong understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management. Blood Cancer UK has embarked on an exciting and ambitious new strategy which strives to deliver the best possible treatments and care for people affected by blood cancer. Working alongside dedicated colleagues, this is the perfect role for someone looking to put their experience of working with regional supporters and in providing first-class supporter stewardship to use in helping us develop our team, as well as further developing their leadership skills. In this role you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, solely managing the financial controls for this small charity with a £350k annual turnover.  You will support the Director and senior management team through your management of financial processes, policy and planning.

This will include using accountancy software to process income and expenditure, producing management accounts for the senior management team and Board, and ensuring the charity reports to its key funders, including Arts Council England. 

You’ll process payroll for our small team of 6 employees, taking care of liaison with HMRC as well as handling external audit and company filing.

Unfazed by working mostly alone, you’ll be incredibly organised with your time and workload to ensure processes are handled in a timely and accurate fashion. You’ll have experience of working with small organisations and charities, knowledgeable about the areas of financial control that you will be our expert on.

The role is an employee position for one day per week, however we are open to discuss flexibility of working hours and the possibility of freelance working with the successful candidate.

About the role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Solicitor specialising in education law to work within the CCLC team within a pro-bono project, The School Exclusions Clinic. The project entails lawyers from corporate law firms volunteering for CCLC to support children and families through the school exclusion process. In this role you will manage and supervise the provision of legal advice, assistance and representation provided by corporate volunteers. You will also manage your own case work relating to special educational needs and disabilities and discrimination law. Lumos is an international children’s charity founded in 2005 by the author J.K. Rowling to end the harmful practice of institutionalisation of children. Lumos’s mission is to fight for every child’s right to a family by transforming care systems around the world. Our vision is for all children to grow up in safe and loving families. Our three-pronged approach is to prevent family separation, to protect children and to promote care reform.

Purpose of role

The incoming Chief Executive Officer will be coming into the organisation at a time of change and will lead on delivering the refreshed 2024 - 2026 Strategy and build on Lumos’ unique comparative advantage and successful work in eastern Europe. The Strategy explicitly emphasises the organisation’s Child Rights orientation and reframes priorities in line with the changing global context for children and the significantly reduced size and resources of the organisation.

The new strategy explicitly focuses on addressing the key drivers of the separation of children in context specific ways in Colombia, Kenya, Ukraine and Moldova, and seeks to leverage this work to influence regional care reform in Africa, Europe, Latin America and globally. Taken together, these efforts will contribute to the wider, joint efforts to accelerate Global Care Reform to end the institutionalisation of children and reintegrate children into family-based and alternative care.

The Chief Executive Officer will have the support of a passionate team of staff, an experienced Executive Leadership Team and fully supportive, engaged, and inspired Board of Trustees in the US and the UK.

Primary responsibilities

The new Chief Executive Officer will assume the following responsibilities:

Leadership

• Mobilise the organisation to achieve our mission with a focus on implementing the new 2024-2026 Strategy and embedding the strategic objectives.

• Engage with institutional funders, Trusts and Foundations, corporates and high-net-worth-individuals, attracting new donors and continuing to grow the Lumos’ partnership base and international networks.
• Be accountable to the Board for strategic finance and operational financial management, consolidating financial stability, efficiency, and impact.

Governance

• With the support of the Board of Trustees, work with the Director of Corporate Services to oversee the implementation of the governance function and recommendations as required.
• Ensure the Board is enabled fully to carry out their role, that governance meets the highest possible standards, and that Lumos is fully compliant in all areas.
• Ensure robust project planning and reporting are championed and embedded through the organisation in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Programmes

• Support Lumos Country Directors in the implementation of their national care reform strategies and collaborative partnerships with governments, and international and local civil society organisations.

Programmes: evidence and advocacy

• Engage and influence multiple stakeholders nationally and internationally (within central, national, and local governments, with the commercial sector, the voluntary sector and in the media), enhancing the visibility of Lumos and its ability to inspire and drive social change for care reform.
• Guide the formulation of the organisation’s position with a view to influencing policy that achieves change in line with Lumos’ priorities.
• Represent the work of Lumos at the highest levels with partners, across the political spectrum and globally, and act as a champion and advocate for the organisation externally.

About the role

The British Science Association's mission is to transform the diversity and inclusivity of science. We want more people, especially those from groups that are currently underrepresented in science, to feel that science is relevant to their lives. The BSA’s community engagement programmes focus on reaching these groups.

The Community Engagement Officer will provide support in delivering the BSA’s community engagement programmes. This role would suit someone with experience of supporting community engagement programmes.

Key responsibilities: Community Engagement programmes

The main responsibilities are to:

• Support the delivery of the British Science Week Community Grant Scheme and the creation/dissemination of the British Science Week Community Activity Pack

Business Manager - Dementia Support & Partnerships
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Dementia Support & Partnerships Directorate at Alzheimer’s Society supporting the Senior Leadership Team and its Executive Director

You will be integral in delivering and measuring the success of its ambitious plans as part of our Help and Hope strategy, ensuring that we are there for everyone affected by dementia. The successful individual will lead a team of two Officers who support the business requirements of the directorate to ensure that annual planning, objectives setting, and performance indicators are firmly established and deliver against the Society-wide strategic priorities; as well as ensuring that the directorate is regularly reviewing its performance and assurance activities relating to internal policies and external legislative and regulatory requirements.  You will be experienced in monitoring strategic plans and able to translate your findings to senior leaders in relation to risk and resource to enable problem-solving and decision-making. This role sits within Dementia Support & Partnerships which is a
complex and multi-faceted directorate of over 1100 employees and 2000 volunteers.  The directorate includes our Local and Universal Services delivery across the three nations of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland; commercial and partnerships which oversees the successful end to end management of service contracts, external training, and our service delivery partnerships; and a portfolio of enabling functions that ensure our Services practitioners and managers are provided high quality training and technical knowledge; and delivers assurance activities and legislative compliance relating to safe practice across the entire Society. 
About the role:

- Designing and delivering annual planning and objective setting for the Directorate which align with our Society strategic priorities.
- Deliver effective and efficient monitoring processes that oversee and report on directorate risks, strategic indicators and performance indicators.

About the Department

The Legal, Safeguarding and Donor Compliance (LSDC) team is made up of 12 individuals from a range of countries including 4 based in Africa and works across  MSI’s locations. CHT is a dynamic, innovative and expanding charity in the adult mental health sector. CHT

CHT is a mental health charity that provides seven rehabilitative residential communities in London and Sussex for people experiencing severe mental health difficulties, and training in the field of relational practice in mental health.

Poor mental health is a national crisis. Those with the severest of mental health difficulties experience  a high risk of suicide and self-harm, a lack of independence, and a loss of hope. Though many are still young adults, most of our residents have spent years in psychiatric hospitals before coming to CHT; medication alone is not the answer. For 30 years, CHT has provided a unique approach with a distinct clinical model. We work with individuals with a history of multiple or prolonged hospital admissions, providing an alternative, longer-term solution that enables the majority of our residents to move on to lower support, with many taking up education, training or employment while still with us – a stark contrast to psychiatric hospital.

As part of our five-year strategic plan two years ago CHT commissioned a part-time consultant to develop our fundraising and communications capacity from scratch. We now feel that the time is right to build on the work done so far and to step up a gear and appoint our own full-time Head of Fundraising and Communications who will lead on the further growth of our fundraising capacity and fully develop our marketing.
