Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Head of Trusts and Foundations to develop and maintain an outstanding portfolio of Trusts and Foundations focusing on large (six-figures+) multi-year commitments in the UK and US, and to lead the Trusts and Foundations team to reach ambitious fundraising targets and develop long-lasting relationships with funders.
The RSC Development Department works to achieve an income target of over £8 million annually of which more than £1.5 million comes from Trusts and Foundations. Our ambition is to be raising £10 million annually by 2026.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
- Managing and leading a portfolio of large multi-year Trusts and Foundation approaches working with senior colleagues including the Senior Leadership Team.
- Creating high-quality, compelling, accurate written proposals and reports with clear robust budgets.
- Developing and implementing a Trusts and Foundations strategy to achieve financial targets through the development of existing relationships and growing a pipeline of new prospects.
- Managing and monitoring budgets and reporting on progress to target and identifying and mitigating risks.
- Leading the Trusts and Foundations team, supporting their success and ongoing development.
To be suitable for this role, you must have:
- Demonstrable experience of enabling and achieving income growth, securing and managing a portfolio of multi-year high-value relationships figures from Trusts and Foundations – meeting fundraising targets and building long-term relationships.
- Created and implemented successful strategies.
- Experience of line managing teams, including performance management and supporting development.
- The ability to write exceptional, accurate and compelling proposals and reports.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to be a credible ambassador of the RSC.
This is a full-time, permanent position which can be based in either London or Stratford-upon-Avon, with regular travel between the two for events and meetings. Other travel may be required, including some international travel. The working week is Monday to Friday, 35 hours with occasional weekend and evening work will be required. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.

About the role:
This role is co-located within Charing Cross Hospital 4 days per week and 1 day per week at our office near Old Street. As an IDVA you will:
- implement effective ways of working with victims to increase safety & reduce harm
- provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse
- work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse
- run group training sessions & share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to sign an honorary contract with the Hospital Trust in addition to their contract of employment.
You will need:
- knowledge of help-seeking barriers & support needs of victims of domestic abuse
- an understanding of domestic abuse & it's impact

Following its successful relaunch, the Air Cadet Charity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager capable of running the financial processes of this young and vibrant charity in order to help it achieve its aims of supporting and developing the young people of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Air Cadet Charity, until now, has had to rely on donations with a limited range of activities but Trustees have decided to expand our activities, diversify our income generation and build a capable, respectful and highly successful staff team. Although the Charity had been around in a different guise for many years this is our first year with employed staff and so the successful applicant will need to be capable of starting from scratch, designing secure controls and being fastidious in their record keeping.
The role will focus on all aspects of financial management from book-keeping to preparing end of year accounts and everything in between as well as liaising with the auditors. Our policy is to spend all that we earn and to dip into our capital if required. Annual expenditure and income is around £900,000 each year and our aim is to increase this to around £1,500,000 by 2029. The successful applicant will have tried and tested book-keeping and financial control and management skills gained through qualification and or proven experience.
The role will work directly to the Charity Director, will suit someone who is able to work as the sole financial management expert – although there may be scope to increase our resources as our ambition grows – and not be afraid of hard work and added responsibility. It will be primarily working from home with regular contact with the Charity Director and the Trustees responsible for finance.
Specific knowledge of charitable finance controls, policies and procedures would be advantageous as would qualifications in book-keeping, accountancy or other related area. We’re looking for a proactive team player, able to work on their own initiative.

Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Data Protection Adviser will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws. There is potential for line management within this role as it evolves.
To fulfil this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about ending domestic abuse. It is preferable if they have experience in providing line management support and supervision. They will have great organisational, analytical and adaptive communication skills. Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service.

What you'll do:
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of the first international climate NGO specialising in steel decarbonisation, you will work with other SteelWatch team members located across Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe. The Executive Assistant will be a vital team member, providing critical, executive administrative support to enable the Executive Director and SteelWatch Leadership team to operate effectively. The duties associated with the role will evolve significantly as SteelWatch evolves. The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
The role is focused on supporting the Executive Director and SteelWatch Leadership team on a number of tasks, not limited to:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work environment: The work is mainly remote, although some face-to-face meetings are essential, within Europe. Working hours are flexible. Team members are currently located in Japan, the UK, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, and the team will continue to grow internationally. There will be some early mornings or evenings to accommodate interactions across time zones, with the flexibility to adjust your weekly schedule accordingly. Travel will be required to collaborate with allies and meet the team in person.
Terms and salary: The role is expected to be long-term and managed via an Employer of Record. The initial contract will be for 12 months, if feasible, within local employment regulations. While we envision this as a full-time role, we are open to other options (minimum 60% unless a job share). The UK salary for this position is in the range of £28,000 to £34,000 per annum, pro rata, based on experience. Comparable salaries in other countries are based on market rates.
