The role
We have experienced an exponential growth in income from public fundraising leading to an increased awareness of fuel poverty. To build on this success and maintain increased unrestricted income from a wider fundraising mix, we are recruiting a Fundraising Officer to join our knowledgeable and caring team.
The new Fundraising officer will join a small, friendly, but hardworking team who raise funds from a variety of sources including trust and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, events and community fundraisers and individual giving.
What you will need to succeed
You will have a strong knowledge of fundraising and income generation, and you will play a major part in significantly increasing income growth. Reporting into the Fundraising Manager, you will be a motivated and talented Fundraising Officer who will help us grow our unrestricted income and expand our pool of donors.
You will be required to lead your own portfolio of work, researching and identifying potential new funders, submitting applications and pitching for partnerships and support, as well as building strong relationships with donors.
You should have demonstrable experience of working in a Fundraising role, with the ability to cover the whole spectrum of fundraising duties, thinking strategically and working operationally.
Your base location is negotiable, but you will be expected to travel across England, Wales and Northern Ireland with overnight stays as required.
Hybrid and home working is subject to necessary H&S and GDPR checks. Post holders must be resident within the UK and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK.
We are offering:
£29,778 to £34,546 per annum (Scale 6 - SO1, Points 18 – 25) plus London weighting of £3,300 if applicable. New appointments will usually begin at the starting point of the scale.

About the role:
This role is 12 months fixed term, home based, working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Travel within England and Wales may be required.

Tower Hamlets Domestic Abuse Service is a refuge that provides short-term accommodation for 15 women and their children with a range of support needs, who are at risk of or fleeing domestic abuse.
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating families' move-on pathway from the refuge into independent living. The post holder will be responsible for sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector - liaising with landlords and sourcing new move on routes for families. You will directly support customers to move into their new accommodation and ensure support staff are fully equipped to inform customers about the move on process. The post-holder will also a central contact point for local authority housing departments.

Develop links with private sector landlords and estate agents in order to source private rented stock and promote Look Ahead as a partner organisation

We support a wide range of projects across our 4 mission areas of Community, Health, Environment and Children & Young People. Our grants range from as little as £500 to multi-million-pound projects.
National Lottery funding is open to everyone, but we focus on those communities and people facing the greatest needs.

Our client, a leading London university, is looking to appoint an Education Manager to lead the administration for all the on-campus and online taught programmes, including student and academic support.
This is a full time FTC, running from end July 2024 to end January 2025 in the first instance. You will be required on site 60% of the time, flexibility around days and times is a must.
The post holder will be an experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative individual with a track record of planning, implementing and managing effective programme administration and quality assurance within a professional or higher education environment. Key duties include:
- To lead and manage all aspects of educational support and programme administration for departmental programmes, accountable for the delivery and development of services which focus on an exceptional staff and student experience
- To lead on student facing matters, such as enquiry management, student welfare and safeguarding (including supporting any under 18s), complaints, appeals and assessment and progression.
- To work with the Heads of Programmes, the Director of Education and the Head of Operations to ensure that staff resource allocation supports an effective student timetable and an efficient use of teaching staff.

As an Apprenticeship Adviser, you will:
- Deliver both virtual and face to face presentations to students from small groups to larger assemblies to raise awareness of apprenticeships, and other technical education routes.
- Deliver bespoke sessions to students in supporting them to register and apply for apprenticeships.
- Deliver awareness raising sessions to parents, teachers and local stakeholders.

- Work proactively with key partners and stakeholders promoting CXK across the region.
You will:
- Have some experience and knowledge of the work-based learning sector and wider routes into Apprenticeships. Full training and support will be given to build on experience/up-date knowledge.
- Have planned, delivered, and evaluated virtual and face to face sessions engaging students, teachers and parents.
- Have a network of stakeholders and partners across the region to enhance the support to schools, colleges and partners.
- Have a proven track record of successfully working towards targets and KPIs.

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

What you'll do:
Manage client referrals, completing Dash Risk Assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork.
