You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, so you will work 32 hours over 4 days a week, with no loss of pay. The Role
To provide a high-quality housing management service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery, by a being a primary point of contact for tenants. Engage with tenants to provide a responsive efficient housing management service that is consistently excellent for all tenancies. Housing Officers are expected to carry out the vast majority of their duties (70%) at our managed accommodation.

We are delighted to be working with a leading disability charity to find an experienced customer service professional to lead a high-performing Sales & Reservations function. The charity provides essential short breaks for disabled people and their carers that boost wellbeing and rejuvenate relationships and this role is vital part of their mission. You will focus on achieving revenue and occupancy targets, while also providing robust reporting, complaints handling and liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate guest arrivals.
This is a great opportunity for an expert in customer service delivery to lead on the optimisation of their in-house bookings function, including guest experience, systems efficiency, current processes and implementing strategic initiatives to increase occupancy. You will be working as part of the External Affairs division and will regularly represent the Sales function at wider Executive level meetings.
To be a successful Sales and Reservations Manager, you will need:
- Previous experience of leadership and line management in a customer-focused team, ideally in a hospitality or care environment
- Commercial awareness and experience in reporting/analysis and operating and optimising a CRM system and online bookings
- Team management experience, building high performing teams

This is an exciting new role to build upon the recognition of our achievements to date, by elevating the awareness of the Trust and our many partners. We expect that National Geographic will release their documentary in Autumn 2024 about Shackleton and the expedition organized by the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust that found the wreck of Endurance in the Weddell Sea. This is likely to lead to heightened awareness of and interest in our work, which will appeal to applicants with a real interest in maritime heritage and, ideally, the Falkland Islands and/or the South Atlantic/Southern Ocean.
As COO you will serve as the first point of contact representing FMHT in, we envisage, an increasingly high-profile public manner. You will report to the Chair of Trustees, working collaboratively with the Trustees. You will also collaborate with a variety of charities, institutions and agencies, all with shared interests in our work.
We are seeking an energetic ‘all-rounder’ - a proven leadership professional who will roll their sleeves up and deliver. You will have outstanding communication and liaison skills, be skilful in raising funds and engaging sponsors together with sound financial and contract management experience. Drawing from your previous experience you will help to design, implement and deliver our operational and commercial objectives. Highly self-motivated, you will possess the vision, energy and drive to help create and to implement sustainable strategies for the Trust.
