We are recruiting a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families across Barnet, Brent and Harrow. They will work alongside our team of Coordinators, local Family Hubs and a range of services including Maternity, Health Visiting and Children's Services.
The Dad Matters Coordinator will deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at fathers in the First 1001 Days. They will support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. They also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Addtionally, they will help develop and run sessions with dads and will be at the forefront of growing our Dad Matters volunteering opportunities.
This is a new post, and we are looking for someone who can build on our existing relationships and make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of new dads and dads-to-be.
The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training, and regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.

About the role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the development and delivery of Sense campaigns, working alongside the Head of Media & Campaigns and Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Research.
- Decide on campaign priorities and make recommendations on the most appropriate course of actions to achieve Sense’s campaigning and influencing strategy.
- Ensure Sense has a consistent narrative and that disabled people and their families remain at the heart of our campaigns, that Sense is a sector leader in terms of campaigning, and that we are compliant with new charity regulations.
- Lead on the evaluation and reporting back of campaigns to the team and wider organisation.
- Provide leadership and expertise around campaigning strategy and management to senior management and trustees.
- Be an active member of the Media & Campaigns management team, ensuring team and project plans and budgets are developed, managed and reported against.

About You
You will have substantive experience in providing immigration advice and conducting casework, with the relevant Level 2/3 OISC qualification or equivalent (qualified solicitor)

As a Senior Finance Manager, you'll:
- Support a portfolio of clients, initially focusing on four long-standing ones.
- Manage day-to-day client accounts.
- Review and maintain client financial systems.
- Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with client executive teams and boards, empowering them with strategic advice.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Fully or part qualified with extensive experience.
- Experience: From basic bookkeeping to management accounts, including producing management accounts and external reports.
- Software Proficiency: Familiar with SME accounting software like Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks as well as products that integrate into these.
- Skills: Strong systems accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills (charts, dashboards), excellent time management, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and numerical skills, a flexible and hands-on approach, and excellent communication abilities to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

About the Role...
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals? The Renewal Programme, a well-established and respected local charity in the London Borough of Newham, is seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.
You will play a crucial role in providing effective and high-quality support and resettlement services to vulnerable single homeless adults housed by the charity. Support workers are vital members of our team as they provide support to tenants, helping them to develop the life-skills they require to move on to independent living. In this role you will manage a caseload of tenants, supporting and encouraging them to maximise their skills and choices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting interviews and assessing the suitability of prospective tenants.
- Inducting new tenants into their local community and ensuring their understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
- Developing and reviewing support plans with tenants and coordinating with other professionals involved in their care.
- Holding keywork sessions with designated tenants and conducting regular risk assessments.
- Providing information, advice, and advocacy on welfare benefits, education, budgeting, and independent living skills.
- Liaising with external support service providers and fostering connections with community groups.
- Recommending permanent housing options and providing support and advice to successfully moved-on tenants.
- Upholding health and safety standards and maintaining positive relationships with the local neighbourhood.
About You...
You will play a crucial part in providing a safe and supportive environment for residents, many of who are formerly street homeless. As a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will possess a supportive and non-judgmental approach.
Your ability to work within policies, procedures, and regulations is essential to maintain a safe and effective environment.

Requirements:
- Experience of face-to-face support work with vulnerable individuals.

- Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
