Job Title: Deputy Recruitment Manager

Salary: £43,314 per annum (increasing to £48,126 in 18 months) + £750 Homeworking Allowance

Location: Homebased - Wales - travel required for recruitment activity across Wales and the Bristol areas.

This role is responsible for the successful recruitment of new TACT foster carers, proactively building excellent relationships with potential fostering applicants & guiding them through the assessment & approval process.

Overall Duties of the Deputy Recruitment Manager will include:

• Overseeing the assessment process providing supervision and support to Independent Assessors and internal assessing Social Worker. 
• Managing and providing quality assurance for all Form F assessments through to approval. 
• Working closely with Area Teams to identify training opportunities for applicants in assessment
• Attend and provide up to date information to area team meetings.
• Providing an ongoing customer focused relationship with applicants

We are looking for candidates with:

• BA or Master’s in Social Work or Dip SW, CSS or CQSW qualification
• Current Registration with the relevant professional body
• Experience of working in Children's Services
• A Management qualification (or the willingness to undertake one)
• Experience of working flexibly as part of team
• A passion for ensuring children receive the highest quality care from their foster family
• Experience of delivering training to potential foster families and supporting them in their journey

Whilst being homebased, the Deputy Recruitment Manager will be required to travel for recruitment activity across Wales and the Bristol areas. There is also a requirement to be able to travel to team meetings, wellbeing days, TACT away days and other in person events across the UK as and when required.  Due to the location of the recruitment activity, candidates located in Wales (ideally south East Wales - Cardiff and Newport) would be preferred.

An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.

About You

The Network Lead plays a central role in helping us achieve our vision to end the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role that involves representing the Trussell Trust on policy and public affairs in the region/nation, the leadership of a dynamic team of area managers that supports the network of food banks in the region/nation to deliver emergency food, and the coordination of projects and partnerships to support the food banks in our network to reduce the need for their services locally. 

Role responsibilities 

• Strategic Leadership: Manage the delivery in the region/nation of food bank operations and key strategic projects that are part of the Trussell Trust’s five-year strategy to end the need for food banks.

• Projects and partnerships: Build partnerships and develop projects with organisations to develop and build services and systems that help end the need for food banks, including working with food banks to ensure that local churches (including church leaders) are connected to and have an understanding of the importance of ending the need for food banks in local communities. 

• Policy and public affairs: Engage with a wide range of external bodies, including elected representatives, faith and community organisations, and research bodies. 

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership, support and line management to the area managers. 

• Risk Management: Ensure consistent quality assurance of food banks across the region, in line with guidance from the safeguarding and quality team at the Trussell Trust, and support area managers to deal with complaints and manage food banks with high risks. 

• Cross-organisational working: Act as a liaison between the area team, the wider operations team, and other directorates, managing the flow of ideas and feedback to positive effect.  

Person Specification 

Technical skills and minimum knowledge: 

• Confidently represent the Trussell Trust with a range of stakeholders, including elected representatives, and effectively manage the roll-out of the organisational strategy in the region/nation. 

• Knowledge and experience of policy and public affairs, including a track record of successfully influencing politicians and key decision-makers to achieve strategic goals. 
   

• Knowledge and experience of community development or local service provision. 

• Experience of managing projects and partnerships, from inception to evaluation, to achieve strategic goals. 

• Experience of team leadership. line management and supervision, including dealing with performance issues and using coaching skills. 

• Competent and efficient use of IT, including the main Microsoft Office programs and database management.

Oxfam is looking for a Welsh speaking Media and Communications Adviser to create and deliver proactive and reactive media output in Wales. The postholder will primarily generate proactive and reactive coverage in support of Oxfam’s twin Global Challenges, climate justice and action to better value and reward roles disproportionately undertaken by women, as well as Oxfam’s work in fragile and humanitarian contexts.

The postholder will also deliver media work in support of Oxfam’s brand and fundraising objectives. The Role

Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync as a Customer Success Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our non-profit clients succeed in their digital fundraising endeavours.

You will oversee the complete lifecycle of client engagement, from onboarding to support and retention, ensuring they fully leverage our platform's capabilities and agency expertise.

You will act as a strategic advisor, guiding clients through their journey with Social Mind and helping them optimise their campaigns for maximum impact.

Our fundraising platform, Social Sync, aims to revolutionise the sector with integrated digital fundraising campaigns and behavioural, omni-channel supporter journeys.

We empower charities to raise more money with integrated multi-platform fundraising, drive supporter acquisition and build stronger relationships with sophisticated, personal journeys and we unlock the supporter’s potential with meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management:
  • Work closely with Growth team to deliver smooth and effective handover milestones to ensure ongoing client confidence.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at non-profit organisations, understanding their digital fundraising goals and aligning our solutions with their strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and strategic reviews to assess client satisfaction, gather feedback and identify opportunities to increase value and reduce churn across Social Mind and Social Sync.
  • Explore different ways in which clients may benefit from new agency services as our offer diversifies in line with market trends and demands.
• Onboarding and Adoption:
  • Ensure client satisfaction by keeping internal teams well briefed to successfully deliver agreed client requirements to a high standard and on time.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure clients have everything needed for successful campaign launches and ongoing optimisations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption and engagement with our platform, tailoring approaches to each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Success Planning and Outcomes:
  • Create and manage comprehensive success plans for clients, setting clear goals and regularly reviewing progress to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Provide best practices and strategic recommendations to help clients elevate their fundraising efforts and fully utilise our platform and agency offering.
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer, gathering feedback and collaborating with our Product and Development teams to drive enhancements that meet client needs.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities for upsell, working closely with internal teams to address concerns and explore growth possibilities.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge and understanding of non-profit fundraising, particularly social and digital fundraising.
• Experience with managing multi-channel campaigns and understanding campaign lifecycle from planning to post-campaign analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder interactions and inspiring action through data and case studies.
• Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in learning about our platform and the ability to provide technical guidance to clients.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties. 

What we are looking for

• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Senior Programme Officer, In2STEM

In2scienceUK’s aim is to promote social mobility and diversity in science, technology, engineering and maths. We do this by leveraging the skills and passion of researchers and STEM professionals to support young people from low socio-economic backgrounds to achieve their potential and progress to careers in STEM.

The In2STEM programme is a fantastic opportunity for 16-19 year olds to gain insights directly from STEM industry and research professionals. The programme provides over a thousand students each summer with a blend of online and in-person activities, equipping participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel in STEM. 

What we are looking for

We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Programme Officer to join our growing In2STEM Programme team. The focus of this role will be to support delivery and ensure that our young people have an exceptional experience on the programme. You will also be kept engaged through deputising for the In2STEM Programme Manager one day per week.

You will have a good understanding of the challenges today’s young people from less privileged backgrounds may face and bring a proven track record of supporting vulnerable young people and/or adults with a range of support needs, including mental health needs, learning difficulties and disabilities. You will be good at building trust and rapport with young people and have practical experience of appropriately, calmly navigating situations involving safeguarding and signposting for young people and adults.

Duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a versatile and experienced CAMHS nurse to work as part of our CAMHS Service to British Forces Cyprus. You will be responsible for providing a child and adolescence mental health service to individuals and families by providing a range of clinical interventions to children and young people across British Forces Cyprus (BFC) who are struggling with their mental health and require specialist support from mental health services.

You will work autonomously and carry a clinical caseload of service users requiring CAMHS intervention, utilising age-appropriate interventions in line with NICE Guidelines.

You will report to the Locality Team Leader and will be supported by the Clinical Advisor for CAMHS.

About the team

There are 3 SSAFA locality Community Health teams in Cyprus, each team is led by a Locality Team Leader; the teams consist of Midwives, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Children’s Nurses, CAMHS, Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapists. The Community Health Service is supported by a Child Consultant Psychiatrist and a Community Paediatrician who provide a peripatetic visiting service from the UK.

To carry out this role successfully you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, with relevant post qualification experience. Experience of work within a military environment would be an advantage.
