Key skills required for this role:
- Proactive and highly motivated, with a strong track record of achieving fundraising targets.
- Proven experience of working in a fundraising environment, with demonstrable experience in grant fundraising.
- Proven experience in making applications to funders, including written applications and face-to-face presentations. The post-holder will need to have a sound understanding of the interests and working methods of trusts and foundations.
- Demonstrable stewardship experience – the job requires the ability to manage and prioritise a portfolio of supporters working to deadlines and agreed targets.
- Proven experience in using impact reports as well as creativity and a fresh writing style to develop language and themes for compelling fundraising bids.
- Demonstrable bid development experience, with effective writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, prioritise and work under pressure.
- Highly developed research and analytical skills.
- Confident in building relationships and communicating effectively with supporters and grant funders internally and preferably at senior level.

Welfare Benefits Advisor will
- Provide high quality Welfare Benefits advice and casework and, as appropriate, representation at the 1st Tier Tribunals for disabled individuals of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
- Write Mandatory Reconsideration requests and in a limited number of cases, write appeal submissions.
- Undertake direct welfare advice and casework.
- Maintain appropriate records of work undertaken using an appropriate electronic Welfare Benefits Recording and Information System via AoD’s Charity Log, and through the use of Excel
- Gather information to monitor and evaluate the service.
- Assist with funding applications / tender bids by providing basic factual information to Fund Raising Manager/CEO/Managers to enable them to apply for funding and also enable them to write funding/tender applications.
- Contribute to Welfare Benefits related publicity material, social media, reports for the Board of Trustees and other stakeholders and other documents as required.
- This post requires travel to different locations, e.g. for home visits.

About The Role
As our Nature Based Solutions Manager, you will be at the forefront of the co-creation of NBS that change peoples' lives and the places they live in two projects - Project Sponge in Slough and Community Bluescapes in Richmond, London. Alongside the other team members, you will demonstrate the power of urban wetlands and other blue infrastructure to help communities to adapt to climate change and build better, safer, more natural places to live.
Your key role will be to co-design and deliver with the local community NBS interventions that build resilience to flooding, provide space for wetland wildlife and improve health and well-being of citizens. You'll manage the tendering process and contractors; ensure high quality and innovative interventions are created and effectively communicate messages about climate change and nature-based solutions to citizens, partners and stakeholders.

The service delivers transport home, settle in visits, follow up and community support.
The Service Coordinator will act as the point of contact for the Hospital Discharge and ward teams for referrals. The Service Coordinator will then coordinate the support workers and volunteers to deliver the service - and will be part of the delivery themselves.
A key part of the role will be to ensure there is good communication with patients and clinicians. You will also need to monitor delivery, oversee record keeping and ensure service quality.

Community and Engagement Manager
Position: Community and Engagement Manager
Location: Teddington, TW11 8HT
Salary Range (depending on experience): pro rata of £33,000 – £39,000 incl. OLW
Hours: Part-time 21 hours per week. We are able to offer some flexibility with the role such as term time only or flexibility with days/times.
Contract: Permanent
Annual Leave: pro rata of 25 days leave plus bank holidays

About the role
Richmond AID is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person who can lead our multidisciplinary team Inclusion Team. The team currently has 6 direct reports and services include: BuddyUp, Spade gardening service, Mental Health Peer Support service, Connect to Tech digital training, Campaigning and peer group activities.
There is a variety of skills and experience within the team which will require someone to use a flexible management approach, directing support to where it is needed most. We are looking for someone to not just manage these services, but to lead their development and widen our coverage across the borough of Richmond. This will predominantly involve supporting the people involved to be leaders of their own projects, improving delivery models, ensuring projects meet targets and quality standards. Some of the projects are also delivered in partnership with other organisations so an understanding of the responsibilities of contract management is essential. We have recently started a campaign project and experience of running effective campaigns would be an advantage.
About you
You will have strong leadership skills with experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team. You must be committed to the value of participative community engagement, have a great understanding of the needs of diverse communities, and a passion for social justice and supporting Disabled people.
You must have experience of service delivery, monitoring, evaluation and report writing and setting SMART outcomes for your team. You will know what it takes to set up and manage a project and ensure it meets the intended outcomes. Additionally, you’ll be confident in participative strategies and tools such as facilitating groups, arranging events, developing surveys, gathering views and responding to consultations.
You will be skilled in managing group dynamics and supporting your team to have boundaries with clients. You will also have experience of managing Safeguarding issues.
Ideally you will have experience of campaigning work, with a track record of delivering innovative digital campaigns that have led to real change.
About Richmond AID
Richmond AID offers 25 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays or pro rata of this for part time roles. Normal office hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. You will be based at our offices in the Disability Action and Advice Centre, 4 Waldegrave Road, Teddington, TW11 8HT but may need to work from other locations as needed.
