The role and your key responsibilities
 

As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups.

You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Deliver targeted training sessions to staff within our partner schools and colleges via workshops and presentations, delivered remotely or in person.

• Work with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement and achieve a sky high resubscription rate.

• Monitor and analyse usage across partner schools and colleges; identifying partners that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

• Listen to teachers and students about how we can improve our customer service and the Unifrog platform.

• Attend conferences and run CPD events on behalf of Unifrog.

Summary

We are looking to appoint a new Procurement Category Manager to lead the delivery of indirect category strategy, governance, and policies, and deliver significant value through market-specific strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management.

Procurement operates as a shared services function within the Finance Department, working collaboratively across the National Centres of Innovation (NCIs) to provide a comprehensive and cost-effective finance service. Our collaboration with Asda on Cashpot for Schools is another example of unlocking support at scale. This innovative community-led funding model allows shoppers to nominate and fund their local schools simply through everyday spending. In just the last year, this campaign has generated £5.78 million for schools—supporting everything from basic classroom supplies to vital extracurricular programmes and pupil wellbeing initiatives. Also shortlisted for a Business Charity Award, it is already a model for community-driven philanthropy.

Meanwhile, our All Dressed Up campaign—developed with World Book Day and Rubies Masquerade—confronted the often-overlooked issue of financial exclusion on key celebration days. More than 100,000 free dressing up costumes worth £1.34 million were delivered to children from low-income families. By enabling participation in events like World Book Day, we helped spark imagination, joy, and belonging for children who might otherwise feel left out—boosting self-esteem and supporting a positive connection to learning.

Alongside these national campaigns, Parentkind supports families year-round through a growing suite of programmes designed to inform, prepare and empower parents. This month, we launched our Parent-Friendly Schools Accreditation Programme, designed to formally recognise schools that go above and beyond in fostering positive, inclusive relationships with parents. The accreditation celebrates schools that actively listen to parent voices, make engagement easy and accessible, and embed family partnership in their culture. It is a practical and inspiring tool to drive long-term change in the sector and offers a roadmap for schools wanting to strengthen their community.

As the Fundraising Marketing Officer, you will support the Senior Marketing Officer in executing the annual fundraising and marketing strategy, with a strong focus on donor acquisition and stewardship. Working collaboratively across the charity, you will drive and enhance marketing efforts across all fundraising products. In addition, you will work alongside the Senior Marketing Officer and Supporter Services team to analyse the donor journey at every touchpoint. Key Responsibilities

The role of the payroll, reward and reporting People and Culture Officer will be fast paced with high volumes and lots of working across the team.

You’ll mainly be focussed on:

• Running their monthly payroll information and getting this over to the payroll team in finance so everyone gets paid correctly.
• Administration of all payroll and contractual changes for new and existing employees.
• Generating people data reports for all levels of the organisation. This includes headcount reports, total reward statements and any other ad hoc reports that are requested.
• Dealing with the queries that come through the shared HR mailbox.

There will be the opportunity to get involved with project work as they look to continuously improve the service they offer their internal clients.

What you will need to succeed

• Ability to prioritise your own workload and completing tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Experience of running payroll process for a similar sized organisation (c400 employees)
• Experience of HR information systems is essential (experience of Cascade HRIS is desirable)
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and advanced knowledge of Excel
• CIPD qualified to Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
• Highly organised and capable of conflicting deadlines

About the role

You’ll empower your clients to take actions for themselves or will advocate on their behalf for better service, support and outcomes, so they can live their life with Parkinson's in the way they choose.

You’ll deliver tailored information and support through a range of channels including telephone, video and email and, where appropriate, home visits and in community settings.

You’ll be responsible for building excellent relationships with healthcare professionals and other relevant agencies, as well as our network of volunteers and groups.

What you'll do:

• Provide professional person centred, in depth support to clients by a range of means, ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources.
• Provide support on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional, employment and welfare benefits support and advocating with and on behalf of clients.

The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide. 

Main Responsibilities   

• Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

• Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

• Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures; 

• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources; 

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems; 

• Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

• Support the development of an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of the diversity of the people we support; 

• Support any technology implementation plans ensuring all technology solutions are project managed effectively. To supports team members to ensure they identify risks, contingency plans and engage with stakeholders for effective collaboration; 

• To lead on procurement and contract negotiations with vendors of IT systems and software providers, ensuring ITTs and contract awards are in line with the Trust policies and value for money is achieved;

What you’ll bring to the role:   

• Recognised Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Working in our small Income Generation Team, you will have responsibility for writing compelling proposals and reports that showcase the impact of our work. You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with current and potential funders, building and stewarding our restricted income pipeline which you will own.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record of securing funding, preferably within the youth, sport for development or health & wellbeing sector. Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Write compelling funding proposals and cases for support, from £5000 to £100,000s
