In this exciting role, you will be responsible shaping and delivering Bonsucro´s communications strategy and overseeing the day-to-day management of a small communications function. Bonsucro is the global sustainability platform and standard for sugarcane. Our purpose is to collectively accelerate the sustainable production and uses of sugarcane. We work with people and organisations across the sugarcane supply chain, including small scale farmers and some of the world’s biggest brands.
Climate change, human rights, farmer livelihoods, women’s empowerment, pesticide reduction, and water use are some of the issues that Bonsucro works on. As our Communications and Events Manager you will be expected to create narratives on these issues and link this to Bonsucro’s work on standards and certification, market development and collective action.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in strategy, planning and delivery of communications and events in a comparable organisation. You are versatile and stakeholder-oriented and comfortable working in a busy environment with multiple concurrent priorities, deadlines and activities. Your strength lies in creating compelling content and results-driven campaigns that supports the achievement of higher-level strategic goals. - Significant prior experience in development and implementation of communications strategies and a full range of media services, ideally in a global context

Job Description
1. Maintain remote volunteer overview in line with remote volunteer agreement and guidelines working closely with Remote Services Coordinator
2. Ensure all administrative work associated with the remote volunteer programme is completed accurately and in a timely manner
3. Support with remote training and events calendar as well as planning of training sessions and events
4. Support recruitment, training and induction of new remote volunteers
5. Research and assist with implementing new support services for remote services

The role
We are looking for a Senior Advocate who will have day to day responsibility for the running and promotion of the advocacy service in Tameside.
You will manage a pool of advocates which involves recruitment, supporting them through induction and by conducting supervision and best practice meetings, ensuring the provisions of the service we offer to children and young people is to a high standard.
You will be responsible in managing the advocacy referrals and allocating these to the most appropriate advocate to meet the needs of the child or young person, whilst also carrying a small caseload of advocacy referrals yourself where you will provide independent and confidential advocacy to children and young people to empower them to express their wishes and feelings in decision that affect their lives to ensure that their voices are heard.
You will help drive the performance of the service by monitoring the referrals, activity and budgets, and using bespoke system, to prepare statistical and qualitative data reports for monitoring meetings to evidence service target achievements. This will also enable you to identify recurring themes and concerns which can be escalated.
This role also provides the opportunity to work in co-operation with other NYAS services and departments and well as acting the link between NYAS and the local authority.

About SRUK
Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (SRUK) is the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and/or Raynaud’s. We exist to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, and ultimately to find a cure.
The role
You will be working with an ambitious and diverse team to lead, shape and deliver communication and campaign strategies to raise awareness and understanding of Scleroderma & Raynaud’s. You will grow brand awareness and increase SRUK’s impact in achieving recognition for the needs of the community and the urgency of the cause. You will oversee SRUK’s communications, campaigns and marketing activities.
