Coordinate and support the Scottish Peer Educator project aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of deceased and living organ and tissue donation amongst South Asian communities across Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The peer educator co-ordinator will manage a group of volunteers to attend events and deliver messaging on kidney health, disease and organ and tissue donation in partnership with the policy lead (Scotland).
The Scottish Organ and Tissue Donation Peer Educator project is a long-standing partnership with the Scottish Government. The project aims to increase awareness of deceased organ and tissue donation, and living kidney donation, among people within the South Asian communities in and around Glasgow and Edinburgh, covering the Hindu, Muslim and Sikh faiths. The project involves working with peer educators (volunteers) from South Asian communities who attend events and talk to the communities about organ and tissue donation.
The successful candidate will have an awareness of organ donation and experience in effective community outreach and engagement. You will be an excellent empathetic communicator, both written and verbal as well as being receptive and approachable with a “person-centred” approach.

The Fulfilment and Support Lead plays a vital role within the Fundraising Team, ensuring the seamless delivery of operational requirements for fundraising products from start to finish.

Managing Travalyst’s corporate and individual donor base and driving revenue growth through targeted fundraising efforts.
What you’ll get to do:
This role combines soliciting new prospect donors, donor management, partnership development, and data-driven campaign execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship building, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement, with a demonstrable passion for Travalyst’s mission of promoting sustainable travel and tourism.
Donor Management (~40%)
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of individual donors, corporate and institutional foundations to secure philanthropic and private funding and advance Travalyst’s mission.
- Identify, solicit, and nurture new donor prospects, ensuring continuous growth of the donor base.
- Strategise with senior leadership to retain and upgrade current donors, including personalised engagement for high-value supporters.

General Administration and Team Support (~10%)

The Internal Communications Team sits within the People Experience Team, who play a vital role in shaping people’s experience of the charity as a great place to work, volunteer and grow.

About the role
The senior marketing manager is a new role within the community and events function at Breast Cancer Now. We have ambitious plans for growth across this area of fundraising and believe that this role will be pivotal to the success of this.
With a team of two including a manager and an officer, this role will support the teams’ delivery of the existing marketing portfolio, including community fundraising activity and a range of third-party events. In addition, this role will also oversee the overarching campaign for the Pink Ribbon Walk series, the charity’s flagship walking product. We have ambitious growth plans for the series in 2025 and will be adding another venue to the portfolio as well as increasing participation at each of our existing venues. This role will also lead on the development and delivery of engaging marketing concepts and campaigns to maximise the potential of new fundraising products.
Working collaboratively with teams across the charity, this role will further embed community and events fundraising as core function in the fundraising portfolio. As the expert voice of marketing across community and events, the post holder will support their direct line reports as well as a vibrant team spread across four offices and will work with other marketers in the organisation as well as in house teams such as digital and brand.
About you
An experienced marketeer, you’ll be an expert in promoting fundraising products with a keen eye for detail and creative flair. Your knowledge of dynamic and ambitious six-figure marketing campaigns will enable you to lead the team to success across a variety of projects. You’ll understand the need to approach campaigns on a national and regional level to ensure they speak and engage relevant audiences.
You’ll have experience of working with external digital and OOH marketing agencies to deliver effective and engaging campaigns, and you’ll feel confident in ensuring the charity’s best interests are always at the heart of their work. You’ll also be confident in generating owned and earnt media to support holistic campaign activity.
Your proven track record for developing a strategic and thorough approach to marketing has resulted in joined-up, engaging and thoughtful campaigns delivered across a range of on and offline platforms.

As an essential member of the charity’s services team, the Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and nurturing partnerships with companies in the print, paper, publishing, packaging, and graphic arts industries.
This role focuses on connecting the charity with companies not yet engaged, thus expanding access to resources like our 24/7 helpline to more sector employees. By building these connections, the Relationship Manager not only helps ensure more employees have access to our support services but helps provide valuable insights on the needs and challenges of those working in our sector, helping shape and enhance our support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business in our sector with whom we are not currently engaged with and make an approach with the intention of them becoming partners and thus granting their staff access to our support services.
- Build and maintain relationships with businesses in the sector, including visiting their premises and demonstrating the value of the charity’s services to encourage take-up.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote our monthly messages to businesses and employees.
- Report back to the services team on the main needs and challenges of those working in our sector, helping shape and enhance our support services.

Job Purpose
