AIMS / PURPOSE OF THE POST

To manage the day-to-day administrative responsibilities and smooth running of the office including dealing with confidential and financial records.

MAIN DUTIES

• General office duties including, but not limited to, checking and responding to emails to the office email account, handling telephone enquiries and managing correspondence to the office.

• Providing office cover and being present in the office on Mondays to Thursdays. Must be competent and confident in the opening up and locking up of the building.

• Collating data on the client database as required for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

• Oversight of office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of stationery, printer ink, tea, coffee, refreshments etc.

• Responsible for the operation and basic troubleshooting of office equipment like printers and computers.

• Ordering supplies and resources for our play therapy service.

• Arranging staff meetings and taking minutes, when required.

• Looking after the maintenance and running of the office including health and safety requirements (such as regular PAT testing, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing etc).

• Maintenance and organisation of records and documents on our shared drive.

• Assisting with the recruitment, induction and training of staff and volunteers.

• Researching and sourcing information.

• Support with event organisation and fundraising activities when required.

Job purpose

The role of Junior Creative Project Manager is integral to the day to day running and delivery of projects and therelationship management between commissioning teams across the organisation, our in-house creatives, andour external suppliers.

·Contribute to the Communication function's purpose of ensuring that all content and communications areof an appropriate high standard, consistent with NSPCC's brand and key messages.

·Manage and deliver the production of a range of creative content and communications materialsfor campaigns, partnerships, and events across all channels and platforms.

This is a 6-month role initially because of funding secured but we hope to be able to extend this, as community-led research is a key aspect of Action Hampshire's work.

Key tasks include (see job description for a full list of tasks):

• Lead on specialist knowledge areas (community-led research, consultation and impact measurement), advising/training VCSE organisations on the subject and developing relevant guidance and resources
• Develop and deliver outreach and engagement activity

The Maternal Mental Health Alliance’s (MMHA) Everyone’s Business campaign calls for all women throughout the UK who experience a perinatal mental health problem to receive the care and support they and their families need, wherever and whenever they need it. This role will play a key part in supporting MMHA’s successful campaign and helping drive change for women, babies and families affected by mental health problems during pregnancy and after birth.

Job purpose

• Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the MMHA campaigns.
• Contribute to researching and producing campaign materials.
• Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders to support campaign objectives, including MMHA members, MPs, academics and lived experience champions.
• Support MMHA projects, contributing to the delivery of the MMHA’s strategy.
• Support the campaign team with administrative tasks, meetings and events.

Main responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Campaigns and Policy, Communications Manager, and senior leadership to develop and deliver campaigning activities to improve maternal mental health care in the UK.
• Support the production of campaign resources, including desk research, drafting copy, and proofreading.
• Reading and summarising policy information, such as reports.
• Lead political monitoring, tracking relevant policy developments, identifying opportunities for engagement with MPs and attending meetings.
• Support campaign communication activities, including press and social media support, website editing and copywriting for articles or newsletters.
• Lead monitoring of work with academic partners, maintaining records, liaising with partners and participating in projects, as requested.
• Support campaigning in the devolved nations, identifying cross-nation opportunities.

Essential skills and experience

The Job

Tiko is a fast-growing and ambitious African non-profit linking vulnerable girls and women to sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence support services in Sub-Saharan Africa via our innovative digital platform. A recent transformational multi-million pound grant is kick-starting us on our way to taking our fundraising and our organization to the next level. As such, we are looking for a experienced, driven New Business Development Lead with a solid track record in personally securing 6 – 7 figure grants from new donors, whether government, institutional, INGOs and/or large trusts and foundations, to join our NBD team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to:

• Conduct prospect research to identify and qualify high quality new donor leads for Tiko and proactively track and respond to large funding opportunities and RFPs, helping us continuously build and enhance our prospect pipeline
• Carry out detailed research and mappings to identify existing links with potential donors, whether through our leadership, Board, donors etc. and recommend pathways to relationship building
• Lead and manage the full proposal development process - from identification of the funding opportunity and detailed review of eligibility/suitability to assess our likelihood of success, through to creating buy-in around responsibilities and timelines, motivating and organizing internal stakeholders, guiding players through every step in the proposal process, gathering inputs from technical leads, working with finance teams on budget development, creating supplementary materials, to rolling up your sleeves and writing the proposal and supporting documents as required (Theories of Change, Risk Matrices, Log Frames etc.).
• Deliver significant funding from new donors (candidates will be expected to show evidence of winning funding of a minimum of 6 figures)
• Create high quality fundraising materials tailored to the needs of specific donor audiences e.g. concept notes, slide decks etc.
• Support the systematization and increased efficiency of fundraising at Tiko through timely updating of Salesforce, and general best practice usage of our tools and project management system (Asana).

We are open to remote work for this position and will happily accept applicants from the UK, Kenya, and South Africa, with a preference that the postholder joins their team in their local office one day a week.

You have a deep passion for using your skills in leveraging funding to make the world a better, more equitable place, and an ability to balance big picture, strategic thinking and design with getting tangible activities operationalised. Specifically:

• You are an exceptional writer, with an ability to produce compelling proposals, tailored to the specific needs and interests of different donors. These might be technical, institutional bids, requiring ToCs, logframes etc, ‘Big Bet’ pitches which will rely on powerful storytelling or applications to large foundations, among others.
• Sitting within the small but growing NBD team, you are nonetheless comfortable working autonomously (with the role being majority remote), while building the connections needed across our global team to get the information you need to raise funds for Tiko.
• You are comfortable working in an organisation that is fast-paced and experiencing significant growth. You show flexibility and resilience as structures, processes and ways of working evolve.
• You are confident in managing competing priorities while meeting both internal and external deadlines and flexible enough to juggle your work where opportunities come in at the last minute.

Experience and Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role(s), with a preference for experience in institutional, trust/foundation and/or Big Bet philanthropy, and evidence of personal track record in bringing in new funding.
• Experience working for an international development NGO is desirable, particularly in the space of SRH, SGBV and/or women and girls’ rights more broadly.
• Willingness to join the team in the local office ideally one day per week and for occasional international travel (1 - 2 weeks per year)

The Rewards

The gross salary brackets for this position are £40,000 - £60,000/year in the UK, R710,694 - R1,066,040/year in South Africa, and Ksh4,534,542 - Ksh6,801,813/year in Kenya. Purpose of The role

Habitat GB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Advocacy Manager to lead our efforts in advocating for policy change within the UK government (in particular targeting the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) to prioritise housing in international development. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in supporting Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy agenda which aims to promote equitable access to adequate housing worldwide, focusing on informal settlements in the Global South. The Global Advocacy Manager will be instrumental in building Habitat GB's profile and influence, establishing strong relationships and coalitions with stakeholders in the UK, identifying lobbying opportunities, providing strategic political insight, and ensuring systematic monitoring and analysis of the international development political landscape. Main Responsibilities

· Strategic Development, Engagement and Implementation: Lead the development of a comprehensive global advocacy strategy aligned with Habitat GB's mission and the "Home Equals" campaign objectives, engaging key people in Habitat for Humanity's global advocacy team.
