Job Title: Book-Keeper/administrative responsibilities /HR

Part-time: 21 hours per week

Reports to: Director

Salary: 27,500 PA for full-time (pro rata salary)

Job Purpose:

The Bookkeeping/admin role include Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes. Answering the telephone, ordering stationary. Providing back office services such as accounts payable, collection of time sheets and payroll. Monitoring cash flow, petty cash handling, paying invoices, communicating with local government finance team, HR and funding application /budgets and monitoring.

Experience of working in a medium size charity and can be work as part of a team friendly cooperative.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeepers are responsible for several duties related to managing financial records these responsibilities may include:

· Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software (QuickBooks online) or databases then filing hard copies

· Preparing financial statements showing organisation income and expenditure

· Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances

· Completing VAT returns (if related)

· Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the management of errors

· Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies

· Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets

· Work with purchasing to enter all PO driven invoices.

The Digital communications and engagement manager plays a crucial role in building strong connections with our existing supporters while also attracting new ones through dynamic digital strategies. The Role

About The Role
The Royal British Legion is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead our Supporter Services Department. This critical role ensures that our supporters have the best possible experience, which is essential to our mission of driving sustainable income generation. As the Head of Supporter Services, you will play a key role in managing our supporter care, income processing, and Gift Aid management, while also overseeing key relationships with external suppliers.

Who will I be changing the lives of?

All of our learners are aged between 16-25 years, have some level of additional need and as a result have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).  Some of the most common areas of need that our learners experience are Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism (ASC), ADHD although we work with learners with a much broader range of needs.

Main Responsibilities

• To be responsible for a caseload of learners with EHCP's aged 16-25 years
• To act as the main point of contact for staff and services with SEND related queries
• To arrange and carry out Annual Reviews and PEP’s as well as completion and submission of all relevant paperwork, acting as chair for these meetings when required
• To assist the Change Leader with the transition process for learners starting at Really NEET as well as those learners leaving Really NEET
• Responsible for over-seeing the progression of learners on completion of the course
• Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college

What to expect from the recruitment process –

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. Purpose of the Communications Manager role: 

As Communications Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in line management and coordination of the work of the Women’s Aid Communications function, supporting the Head of Media, Brand and Relationships in leading the team to deliver operational plans in support of the organisational strategy. 

Key duties and responsibilities of the Communications Manager:

• Providing exceptional team management across the communications function, including supervision, sign off, forward planning and development.

Working requirements, salary & benefits

• Salary between £22,000 and £24,000 dependant on location and experience, plus pension scheme
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm. 28 days annual leave (including Christmas gift days)
• One year fixed term contract; we aim to support all Graduate coaches to progress to other roles with us after this initial year, with development towards management level within 3 years. 
• Occasional evening working required (for events such as termly Spear Celebration evenings)
• For most centres there is a requirement to become part of the partner church congregation, and you will be expected to participate in church team events as well as wider Resurgo team events, including weekly staff prayer meetings and annual staff conferences in summer and winter (one residential)
