Mind is seeking an experienced, dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Corporate Partnership Manager (Team Lead). In this role, you will lead a team of five to manage and grow corporate partnerships to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

The Corporate Partnership Manager (Team Lead) is responsible for leading a team of give to manage and grow a portfolio of Mind's core corporate partners who predominantly deliver support to our core national services and unrestricted funding. You'll also work closely with the Head of Partnership Management to shape and deliver the team strategy and support the wider corporate partnerships team to raise £7 million in 2024-25.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Lead the Core sub-team within the Corporate Partnership Management team to manage and grow high quality, mutually-beneficial corporate partnerships to achieve an income target of £1.5 million in 2024-25.

-Work closely with other team leads to create an ambitious, thriving and learning team environment.

-Work closely with the Head of Partnership Management to deliver the team strategy and culture, and deputise as required.

-Provide person-centred line management to 2 x Senior Corporate Partnership Officers.

-Support and coach the core sub-team to maximise financial and non-financial value from their corporate partners.

-Support team planning through input into financial projections, the preparation of income and expenditure budgets.

-Effectively manage team performance and deliverables via regular reporting on KPIs, financial forecasting and phasing, income allocation and expenditure reports.

-Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, ensuring excellent account management, impact reporting, and stewardship.

-Work to identify and secure growth opportunities within corporate partnerships, including financial and non-financial value e.g., pro-bono and GIK.

-Network and build strong relationships with key partner stakeholders to support long term relationships.

-Support Mind's Federation First approach through identification and development of local Mind opportunities with corporate partners.

-To be an ambassador, spokesperson and representative of Mind as required at events and in the media.

-Work closely with other members of Mind's Fundraising, Comms and Media departments to deliver excellent corporate partnerships.

-Ensure accurate data management using Mind's CRM system.

-Ensure that all activity complies with charity legislation and that adequate systems are established to meet audit requirements.

-Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of corporate partnerships and the external fundraising environment helping to spot opportunities and trends and mitigate risks.

-Undertake other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

Our client, a leading London university, is looking to recruit a full-time (35 hours per week) temporary Programme Officer to support them during this busy time in the lead up to the new academic year. This post will be working Monday-Friday, and the post will be working onsite each day in zone one, apart from the first two weeks where the post will be remote working. They are looking for someone to join them from Monday 19th August and will be until the end of October.

In this post, you will be working as a member of the programme administration team to ensure consistent management and delivery of the wide range of programmes through high quality administrative support. You will be responsible for providing a professional, supportive, responsive, and a personable service incorporating front-line support as the first point of contact for students and academic staff. Supporting processes across the whole academic cycle, ensuring accurate and timely record management across multiple systems is also a key part of the role.

To be considered for this post, you will have worked within a similar post, ideally within a higher education setting or similar organisation, you will have experience demonstrating strong people skills and confident in dealing with face-to-face queries under pressure and able to undertake programme admin tasks. Previous experience of SITS and other systems such as timetabling (Syllabus+), Moodle would be an advantageous, along with well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office. You will have an approachable, friendly manner, with the ability to remain calm and patient whilst dealing with sensitive and confidential information in a busy environment. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and distribute information.

The Philanthropy Officer will be a vital member of the high performing Philanthropy team, responsible for both hands-on fundraising as well as providing prospect research and administrative support. This fantastic role offers the opportunity to gain wide-ranging experience across high-value fundraising, learning from skilled and successful colleagues in a sector at the cutting edge of philanthropic activity and helping to raise an ambitious £2.5m in 2024/2025.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying and researching new supporters, coordinating introductory letters to newly established trust and foundations, processing income, thanking donors, ensuring accurate and compliant data keeping, and providing administrative support.

There will be plenty of learning and development opportunities, from contributing towards our high value events, working with colleagues on 6 figure opportunities and drafting and reviewing our communications.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

1. Coordinate the monthly small trusts mailing programme, refreshing mailing lists and ensuring communications are tailored and compelling.

2. Manage a small caseload of higher value supporters and prospects, ranging across trusts, foundations and individuals, and raise income by initiating and developing meaningful and enduring relationships to support Mind's charitable delivery.

3. With a range of tools, help build a strong and up to date pipeline of appropriate funders for the wider team by identifying and qualifying new prospects.

4. Manage the thanking process for unsolicited gifts and donations, ensuring personalised, timely and sensitive communication with funders.

5. Work closely with Income and Operations, Finance and CRM and Data teams to ensure all donations are processed in a timely and accurate way, have correct income codes, resolve income queries, transfers and discrepancies and ensure that the team receives timely reports in the appropriate format.

6. Input into annual and quarterly phasing of income: setting ambitious financial ask targets for donors and prospects in your caseload, carefully monitoring and reporting on progress of income, assessing risk to the budget to inform current and future financial years, and working to mitigate any loss of income.

7. Where required, help with ad-hoc prospect research and due diligence requests, completing and refreshing research profiles, using external resources and databases.

8. Provide support on stewardship event activities including coordination of guest lists, writing guest profiles, recording invites and activity on the database.

9. Support and coordinate team communications, including writing and reviewing copy for impact reports, newsletters, thank you letters and annual review mailings.

10. Ensure Mind's database has accurate and up to date records which adhere to Data Protection requirements and produce reports as required to help senior officers and managers analyse pipeline movement and income projection.

11. Undertake the accurate recording and maintenance of donor records on the database (Microsoft Dynamics), and other systems, adhering to business rules and protocols, Data Protection and Fundraising Regulations.

12. Stay informed of Philanthropy trends across the sector, actively participating in fundraising networking groups and bringing ideas to inform Mind's philanthropy activity.

13. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal contacts across departments such as External Relations, Mind Cymru and local Minds as appropriate.

The role

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Income Generation to join our senior leadership team. This new and pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing robust income generation strategies to diversify and grow our funding and trading streams. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising or sales, building strategic partnerships, and driving innovation in income generation. As a key player in our organisation, you will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our vital programmes.

Key responsibilities

Income Generation Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy that aligns with the charity’s mission and goals;

• Identify and explore new income streams, including fundraising, partnerships, and product development.

Fundraising:

• Oversee all fundraising activities, including trusts and foundations and individual giving;

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, funders, and sponsors;

• Develop compelling fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives to attract new supporters;

• Oversee bids and pitches;

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage the income generation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources;

• Monitor and report on income generation performance, providing regular updates to the CEO and Board of Trustees;

• Oversee production of annual report and fundraising matters for the annual accounts and audit;

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in fundraising management.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of trends, opportunities, and challenges in the fundraising, education and social mobility sectors;

• Encourage and implement innovative approaches to income generation;

• Continuously evaluate and improve income generation strategies and processes, including maximising effectiveness of the CRM system (SalesForce).

About you

Experience:

• Proven experience in developing and delivering successful income generation strategies (Essential);

Are you passionate about capturing and sharing learning from projects and programmes and able to analyse and summarise key points from a wealth of information? ISEAL´s Innovations Fund is a central component of our work to catalyse innovations that improve the effectiveness and deepen the impacts of market-based approaches to sustainability. This is an exciting role to support the development of a learning agenda and value proposition for the Fund as well as producing relevant communications and reports.

First launched in 2016, the Fund supports innovative projects by ISEAL Community Members to help sustainability systems deliver more value to their stakeholders and effectively drive sustainability improvement on the ground, over time, and at scale. The Fund provides grants that enable recipients to develop and test new technologies and approaches, while drawing out cross-project learning to share with the wider sustainability community.

The Associate Manager will work closely with grantees to improve the ways learning is extracted from the projects. We will look to the position to take ownership of the engagement processes necessary to collate and share lessons learnt in a strongly collaborative setting with Community Member organisations or other stakeholders.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Implementation of Innovations Fund learning agenda

• Develop and maintain an overall learning agenda for the Fund, and support Fund and programme team on its delivery  
• Organise and conduct stakeholder interviews and other forms of research to extract project learnings, alone and in collaboration with other project staff
• Facilitate peer to peer interactions between organisations participating in projects to share and discuss learning, including supporting the organisation and delivery of project workshops and ISEAL events such as Members Weeks
• Capture key learnings from grantees based on the learning agenda by leading the design of grantee knowledge sharing sessions (theme-focused learnings), as well as cross-thematic learning workshops
• Lead explorations on the need for external research and scoping activities to inform the focus of Fund’s thematic funding rounds.
• Project manage work with external consultants on research and scoping activities
• Propose and implement methodologies for capturing the learning and studies of fund effectiveness during and after project implementation

Communications

• Working with the rest of the Innovations Fund team, identify key spaces for increasing Fund’s visibility (e.g., key players or events in the innovations space) and map internal and external stakeholders for engagement and to widen the Fund´s impact
• Support implementation of the Fund’s communications strategy, identifying target audiences for Fund project outputs and the best approach and learning products for each
• Identify external events to which the Fund can actively contribute
• Produce briefing papers, blogs, case studies and slide decks, and manage content on ISEAL’s online platforms, to communicate project findings, outcomes, and achievements
• Produce impact case studies for use in multiple comms channels
• Working with thematic leads for various Innovations Fund grant rounds, extract and analyse data to identify key lessons as well as trends and produce reports to share practical lessons and insights
• Project manage work with external designers to produce fund related material

Process Improvements

• Review and input on call announcements, application and full proposal templates to ensure incorporation of the learning and/or communications components
• Recommend improvements to grantee narrative and learning report and other templates to ensure incorporation of learning and/or communications components

Other

• Support organisation in Monitoring & Evaluation tasks and contribute to donor reporting
• Help to ensure that the Innovations Fund and related activities deliver on annual workplans, meet commitments to donors
• Identify and develop new sources of data and information

Essential experience, knowledge and attributes

• Solid experience in a role related to project or programme learning activities, analysis of project data and reporting of lessons learnt
• General knowledge of international development and/or sustainability context where sustainability systems operate
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and topical areas
• Excellent project management skills, with ability to establish and manage priorities
• Excellent writing skills and ability to synthesise and distil technical information for a range of audiences
• Proven ability to analyse large sources of information and to identify and summarise the most important points in accessible language
• Strong relationship building and engagement skills with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
• Experience in facilitating sessions and workshops, even on topics outside of own expertise
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote, international environment, including occasional international time-zone calls
• Proficient IT skills, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. Teams, Zoom, etc.)
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability issues

Rights & Security International (RSI) is seeking a part-time Finance and Grant Management Officer to maintain our internal financial controls, assist with budgeting, and oversee our expenditures, especially by continually tracking our grant spending. 

The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of financial management, and will be comfortable creating budgets and forecasts. Ideally, they will be familiar with charity funding, especially restricted grants.

Person specification:

RSI is looking for a finance and grants management professional who has: 

• An appropriate qualification or degree in a field such as finance or accounting.
• Experience managing the financial aspects of large and small grants.
• An ability to produce clear, persuasive and detailed reports in English.
• Experience with budgeting, managing accounts, tracking expenditures and preparing financial forecasts.

• Manage the expenditure of restricted and unrestricted grant funds; carry out grant monitoring and reporting.

• Periodically review and update RSI’s internal financial controls.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and annual audits.
• Review staff requests for reimbursement.
• Assist the Executive Director and Development Officer in liaising with current and potential funders, as needed.
