About the Role

About You
We are looking for a team player with a positive mindset and technical expertise in website management and digital fundraising.
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Proven Website management experience, excellent knowledge of working in CMS systems and leading on more complex back-end and development projects.
- Proficient in effectively using data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager) and user experience optimisation tools (HotJar), to inform future website projects to optimise traffic and experience.
- Email marketing experience, proficient in using Mailchimp, writing copy and setting up more complex email journeys.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach. This will require detailed knowledge and understanding of the education and screen industry landscape in Scotland.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional weekend and extended working hours are required, along with regular travel to designated regions and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver various elements of the new Into Film programme in Scotland including, but not limited to, CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels both online and face to face
- To develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- To feed into and then deliver the plans in Scotland across the programme (including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression and Young Creatives (plus Into Film Festival, Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed)
- To work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes, KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines
- To ensure Scotland-wide reach and to feed into UK wide work and awareness of Into Film Programmes responding where possible to local needs
- Activation and delivery of the programme across Scotland including feeding relevant regional content into email campaigns and managing the regional social media account.

This is a full-time role (37 hours per week), but job share, and reduced hours will be considered as part of our commitment to flexible working. Working days will predominantly be Monday to Friday, but occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
We have permanent office space in the House of Sport in Manchester, and regular team and co-working days in venues across Greater Manchester, blended with homeworking. We trust you to work in a way that suits you and that enables you to be productive and happy.

This is an exciting new role to build upon the recognition of our achievements to date, by elevating the awareness of the Trust and our many partners. We expect that National Geographic will release their documentary in Autumn 2024 about Shackleton and the expedition organized by the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust that found the wreck of Endurance in the Weddell Sea. This is likely to lead to heightened awareness of and interest in our work, which will appeal to applicants with a real interest in maritime heritage and, ideally, the Falkland Islands and/or the South Atlantic/Southern Ocean.
As COO you will serve as the first point of contact representing FMHT in, we envisage, an increasingly high-profile public manner. You will report to the Chair of Trustees, working collaboratively with the Trustees. You will also collaborate with a variety of charities, institutions and agencies, all with shared interests in our work.
We are seeking an energetic ‘all-rounder’ - a proven leadership professional who will roll their sleeves up and deliver. You will have outstanding communication and liaison skills, be skilful in raising funds and engaging sponsors together with sound financial and contract management experience. Drawing from your previous experience you will help to design, implement and deliver our operational and commercial objectives. Highly self-motivated, you will possess the vision, energy and drive to help create and to implement sustainable strategies for the Trust.
