About the Role

The primary role of a Family Support Worker is to provide effective, efficient, and supportive service to children and their mothers residing in move on accommodation with Solace Women’s Aid. The staff member will lead on the development of a child and family-centered approach to work in the. In so doing, they will:

• Develop and deliver a range of trauma-informed services to children and young people (0-16 years) and their mothers within the refuge and when they are resettled into the community
• Ensure the completion of comprehensive assessments of family needs and risk of families, ensuring an integrated approach with children and adult services (internal and external)
• Ensure ongoing development of age-appropriate children activities
• Promote ‘Integrated Working’ through internal and external mechanisms in partnership with colleagues and community partnerships
• Coordinate the delivery of activities through session staff, volunteers, and student placements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and/or families, as well as knowledge of the effects that domestic abuse can have on young people.

About the Service

The Major Trauma Centre project support young people aged 11-25 who present at St Marys Hospital, Kings College Hospital, Royal London, and St Georges Hospitals who have experienced, or are at risk of, domestic abuse, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, honour-based violence, and any other form of violence against women and girls. We work with young people of all genders and sexuality.

This role provides intensive, crisis intervention support to young people impacted by domestic and or sexual violence who presents at emergency hospital departments.

The MTC project is run in close partnership with Redthread youth violence hospital-based charity, and together we deliver excellent holistic support for survivors, as well as training and advice for hospital staff.

About the Role

MTC Youth Crisis IDVA provide person centred, strength based, trauma informed high quality case work support and advice to survivors of abuse through needs and risk assessment while developing safety plans and working in close partnership with statutory and local agencies to minimise the risk of abuse.  You will promote the service in the hospitals through building positive relationships with hospital staff, in particular safeguarding teams and clinicians, to ensure a steady flow of appropriate referrals while regularly deliver training to hospital staff to raise awareness of domestic abuse. You will appropriately respond to safeguarding concerns and represent cases at MARAC when needed.

Please note that : This position will require working pattern of two early shifts (7:30am to 3:30pm), two late shifts, (1pm to 9pm) twice a month. There will be one Friday late shift and one Saturday every 6 weeks.

The role of Director of Engagement will develop and execute the fundraising strategy, growing the charity’s philanthropic (trusts and foundations, corporates and major donors) and public fundraising activities, and develop effective partnerships.  The role will also grow multi-purpose partnerships, and lead on all aspects of marketing, developing and expanding the Independent Age brand proposition, targeting key audiences and beneficiaries. Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of women who have been referred for support by prison staff, predominately the Mental Health In-Reach Teams and Primary Care Teams.

The Role

This is an exciting and challenging position, which will be pivotal in growing the acquisition programme as part of our 5-year strategy. Criteria

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. Purpose of role:

This is a pivotal newly created role for the KFC Youth Foundation. The Income Generation Manager will contribute to the strategic direction and operational management of the charity. In addition to supporting the Foundation overall this will also extend to support our Youth Hub/s.

The Foundation receives no direct statutory funding and has historically, solely generated its income through its relationship with KFC as its corporate foundation. We have ambitious plans to diversify and extend our reach to help more young people, this requires diversification of funding. The post-holder will have overall responsibility for annual income and expenditure budgets for income generation.

Key Responsibilities

Income Generation

• Adopt a commercial focus to develop, implement, and monitor an income diversification strategy (aligned to the organisational strategy) that will make our buildings and services sustainable.
• Horizon scanning and identification of opportunities to diversify sources of income. Including tenders, social enterprise, product development, collaboration and partnership.
• Pro-actively identify, research and pursue new opportunities, creating robust business cases and plans to support proposals.
• Unlock growth potential by identifying and developing strong commercial partnerships
• Develop the role to business partner with Hub Managers to create new streams of revenue and secure future income for the Regional Youth Hubs.
• Maintain a good understanding of the local and national context for our services.

This is an exciting time for Tender, with both the demand for and reach of our work expanding significantly in recent years. Having set up our Adult Services department in 2019, we have seen both the breadth and depth of our work with adults expand significantly. We are therefore looking to expand our Adult Services team, with a Projects Coordinator to support the Head of Adult Services and Service Delivery Lead (Adult Services) to coordinate the delivery of a range of adult training projects to a varied group of beneficiaries. You will play a key role in ensuring that the projects are planned and delivered smoothly, communicating regularly with settings and the facilitators delivering the training, and ensuring projects are properly recorded, monitored, and evaluated. You will be part of a direct team of five in Adult Services, and a wider team of dedicated, supportive people with a shared commitment to preventing domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Role Purpose

The main purposes of the Projects Coordinator role are:

• Coordinating the administration of all aspects of the Tender’s training programmes for adults across the organisation
• Supporting the Head of Adult Services and Service Delivery Lead (Adult Services) to manage relationships with Tender’s internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, workshop leaders, teachers/carers, delivery partners and other service professionals
