Overview of the Head of Campaigns role and the team

Barnabas Aid is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for the role of Head of Campaigns, a critical position within our International Outreach Department. The post-holder will lead the development and delivery of impactful campaigns, aimed at raising awareness, prayer, and vital donations for the charity’s work with persecuted Christians worldwide. The Head of Campaigns will be responsible for key initiatives such as the Barnabas Brekkie/Breakfast campaign, as well as major supporter events like Encourage. As a senior member of the team, you will take a lead on coaching and mentoring others and you will support in shaping and delivering our communications strategy, ensuring our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our vision.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the charity to develop and deliver campaigns that increase the awareness of our brand, the impact of our work and the change we believe is needed. 

What you’ll bring to the role: 

• Experience as a communications manager or in a similar role

Location & Travel

You'll be an experienced qualified High Intensity Therapist with BABCP accreditation who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression.

You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of Mind and Body Practitioners and CBT Therapists. Supervision will be provided on both an individual and group basis. You will be expected to support the clinical governance of the Mind and Body service.

As Portfolio Delivery Test Lead (a new role to MSIUK) you will oversee testing and lead the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for all new MSI UK system deployments, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing UAT to ensure that the solution meets business requirements and is ready for deployment.

Salary: Circa £21,948 per annum (FTE circa £27,435 per annum)

The Role

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their carers.

• Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified.

• Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan.

• Providing regular reviews to support people in establishing and achieving their own personal goals. 

• Completing 6 month Post Stroke Reviews.

About You

You will have experience and have a proven record:

• In a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.

• Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions. 

• Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs.

• Have the ability to use basic Microsoft system.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Philanthropy Specialist plays a major role in meeting the organisation’s ambitious fundraising goals. Responsible for major giving and grants portfolios, the Philanthropy Specialist identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards financial support from generous individuals and granting bodies.
