Our Advocacy services we provide advocacy direct to children and young people in a variety of situations. Advocates around the country support children and young people to get their voice heard in decisions about their lives. This may be through the telephone helpline or through an advocate working directly with a child, for instance, to support them at a review meeting or to help them make a complaint about their care. Coram Voice provides visiting advocacy services to most of the secure units nationally, to Secure Training Centres, Juvenile Young Offender Institutions, psychiatric hospitals, residential special schools and children’s homes.

About the Role

You will work directly with care experienced children and young people and those on Child Protection Plans providing them with advocacy support in the community and a variety of settings.

You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives.

You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people.

Through workshops, mentoring, professional development days and an eight-week research placement, participants receive the development opportunities and insight they need to progress onto postgraduate research degrees and careers in STEM, Social Sciences and Arts & Humanities subjects.

We are looking for an In2research Programme Officer to help expand our high-quality programme by supporting all stages of the programme including: planning; delivery; recruitment; stakeholder management and evaluation.

With multiple internal and external stakeholders involved in the continual success of In2research, excellent communication and project delivery skills will be key in this role. Duties and responsibilities: 

The purpose of the Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2research Programme. 

Your specific duties will include: 

Programme Delivery 

• Manage participants and volunteers from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation. 

• Maintain excellent working relationships with funders and delivery partners and other external stakeholders to further the delivery of our work. This will include working and communicating with academic and professional services staff at universities, consultants, placement supervisors, mentors and workshop leads

• Create and develop engaging communication materials about the programme including programme guides, presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text and images. 

• Work with delivery partners to design and deliver programme’s online and in-person activities, including recruiting and training speakers for: workshops; careers panels; mentoring sessions; placements and large scale away days and celebration events

• Track project performance, manage risk assessments and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

• Ensure the highest standard of record keeping, maintaining accurate, complete, and up to date records in accordance with data protection policy

• Support the collection and creation of case studies, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure funder requirements are met.

• Evaluate programme processes/systems to recommend and implement improvements to support the delivery of a high quality programme experience for participants and volunteers.

Into Film is the UK’s leading charity for film in education and the community. We provide screen industry careers information and advice, support young filmmakers and bring the power of moving image storytelling into classroom teaching.

Role Summary

The Programme Coordinator (Scotland) is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in Scotland and delivers Into Film’s Programmes and projects both face to face and online within a bespoke Scottish context/approach. Digital Marketing Manager

The Role

You will be responsible for the ongoing development, digital marketing and growth of the institute, working with the team to raise the brand profile, drive strong online traffic and achieve significant membership growth. You will also be responsible for innovation and improvement of digital marketing activity, strategic brand positioning and B2C engagement to drive membership.

Main duties include:

• Develop and manage the brand
• Position the marketing and membership opportunity to enhance the profile and professional status of the sector
