Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will co-ordinate the provision of our client's office facilities. Within the delivery of facilities functions, the post holder will be responsible for health and safety and fire safety checks, will be the main key holder of the London Office and will be responsible for the opening of the office at 8am. You will also undertake occasional reception duties and to be an ambassador of the brand. You will escalate any repair work to the appropriate providers and report to the Services Manager and be the first point of contact. You will also support in implementing the organisations environmental and health & safety policies.
 

• Coordinate contract management for the London and Birmingham offices; working with the Central Services Manager to monitor and manage standard of work and reliability of contractors.
• Maintain all relevant documentation and feedback any concerns to Central Services Manager
• Ensure general maintenance issues for the London office are communicated to staff keeping everyone informed until the matter has been resolved.

This role requires an office-based person to work 8am-4pm Monday to Friday near Old Street.

The role

This is an exciting, fast-paced, full-time role that works to ensure effective financial oversight and management of Unlimit Health and builds the financial management capacity of partners, and within the organisation.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and Operations, and at times this role will deputise for the Director of Finance and Operations.

You will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have substantial financial management experience in an international development environment. The role is fast-paced and complex, and the ideal candidate will need to have presence and ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder needs.

The Role

Substantial (three or more years) proven track record of raising five and six figure gifts from Trusts, Foundations, or public bodies, and demonstrable experience of meeting financial targets. We're the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our small but mighty Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team. 

The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

Our perfect candidate will ideally have previous experience in corporate fundraising and confidence in growing and managing a diverse fundraising portfolio. You’ll be a proactive self-starter with creative flair who has strong attention to detail and excellent new business, account management, relationship building, pitching and writing skills.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist (SBDS) to join the Business Development Team (BDT) within our Development Programmes Unit (DPU) and International Programmes Directorate (IPD). 

This is a dual role, leading on the development of high-quality grant and commercial tender submissions to institutional and major partner donors, and line managing three bid leads. You will actively take part in the diversification of donor income and lead on successful bid development. 

You will have demonstrable ability to develop high quality proposals and/or tenders for institutional and/ or major partner donors, working remotely with multiple countries and partners within tight time frames. You will have proven programme development experience, ideally with a strong technical background in at least one of our priority themes: education, child protection, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), climate, environment and resilience (CER), and youth economic empowerment (YEE).  You will also have experience managing others, with the ability to motivate, coach and support the learning and development of a team to ensure that the team works effectively together, and team targets are achieved.

Highly organised, you will enjoy collaborating with colleagues to develop proposals, and be able to contribute to how we bring our values and Feminist Leadership Principles to life through our work.

The position requires some travel.

Are you looking for an exciting new Accounts Payable role? A highly regarded charity is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their diverse and high-performing finance team on an initial 12-month basis with the potential to go permanent.

This is a part time role (4 days per week). Your time will be spent in their London Office, working two days per week in the office.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for processing reimbursements
• Processing of credit card expenses
• Supporting with processing all charity invoices and resolving queries
• Monthly reconciliation of the external expenses paid between general ledger and CRM

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Experience working in an accounts payable function
• Experience developing strong relationships with external stakeholders
• Experience managing an expense claim process
• Working in a team and working with other functions of the business
