Digital Campaigns Officer

Position Objective:

To implement and support digital campaign advocacy programmes for PETA and other PETA entities, including e-mail marketing programmes and online petitions

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the advocacy e-mail programme by writing, building, and/or sending e-mail marketing broadcasts on behalf of PETA and other PETA entities  to increase engagement with or awareness of campaigns
• Maintain and regularly update digital campaign action alerts, which may include updating campaign targets, ensuring the accuracy of the text, and writing campaign updates
• Build and publish action alerts or petitions on PETA’s and other PETA entities’ websites
• Analyse and test the success of e-mail engagement

Qualifications:

• Experience in e-mail marketing and marketing automation

We are looking for an experienced Prospect Research Manager to join the Strategic Relationships and Philanthropy team. You will provide exceptional prospect research support and maximise fundraiser portfolios to drive income growth which will help create a world without barriers for blind and partially sighted people.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Manager Prospect Research to effectively implement the pipeline management strategy. You'll ensure prospect and donor portfolios are properly qualified, dynamic and allocated appropriately. You'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality research service and you'll take a leading role in managing some of the research projects, such as sector work, network mapping, due diligence and prospect identification.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

This role will suit someone with an eye for detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, who is proactive and comfortable providing insight and sharing new ideas and best practice.

You will have:

· Significant experience of delivering high standards of prospect research within a fundraising context, including proactively identifying prospects from a variety of sources.

· Experience in contributing to and leading portfolio discussions with fundraisers.

The Global Safeguarding Team work together with business delivery units to manage and mitigate safeguarding risks across the organisation. 
 
This role is specifically focused to support the Cultural Engagement (CE) business unit and has a dotted line to the Cultural Engagement Operations team. CE brings together our work in arts, education, English & School Education and research. With a workforce of approximately 1000 globally and an income in 2023/24 of over £230 million, CE delivers impact through research and insight, sector engagement, policy dialogue and a mixed portfolio of commercial and non-commercial work globally.  

The purpose of the CE Operations function is to set and support an operating environment that enables CE to efficiently deliver the CE global business plan. It focuses on enabling teams to embed ways of working, good practice, continual improvement and to demonstrate compliance.
 
The Role:
 
As Safeguarding Manager, you will lead the implementation of the British Council safeguarding framework and resources across all Cultural Engagement programme delivery and ensure practice is aligned with the global Safeguarding policy and strategy. 
 
As part of this, you will lead the development of fit for purpose resources that can be practically and usefully embedded within the Cultural engagement project/programme lifecycle.

Accountabilities:

• Based on the British Council global safeguarding case management policy, provide support and guidance to global cultural engagement staff to report and manage incident-based risks. 

 
There will also be collaboration with an extended team consisting of Cultural Engagement teams covering Risk, Internal Communications, Media, Employee Relations and Reward, Contract Management and Legal.

Requirements of the role:
•    Experience of working in an international development context and in an international (matrix) organization
•    A sound knowledge of international safeguarding standards and service delivery within statutory and non-statutory settings

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Apprenticeships Service Administrator to support the apprenticeship provision within Harris Federation Central Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the apprenticeship team and support by managing administration and providing essential support to apprentices across the Harris Federation. Key responsibilities include the organisation of Apprenticeship events, maintaining individual learner records (ILR), data analysis, and managing the virtual learning platform and MIS. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:

General Administration and Apprentice Support

• Supporting Harris Federation as a main provider, ensuring all apprentice data is accurate and up to date
• Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations to promote apprenticeships
• Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and information sessions
• Supporting the promotional/marketing strategy to drive apprenticeship applications and delivery
• Organising and managing information days for prospective learners / students and supporting the recruitment to various apprenticeship programmes
• Maintaining responsibility for monitoring and updating records on the DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service) system and other data system trackers
• Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the apprenticeship tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and levy usage
• Helping to maintain the EOSONE learning platform to ensure accurate data and the declaration of our monthly ILRs (individual learner records)

As Care & Support Digital Technology Officer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Support teams across Care & Support (C&S) Service delivery to make the best use of technology in their work
• Collaborate with the Digital Technology team to design and deliver comprehensive guides for digital tools and systems, including Sona and the Care Planning system
• Assess the digital proficiency of staff and create tailored training plans to bridge skill gaps
• Act as the primary point of contact for C&S staff seeking support with digital tools, ensuring systems are used effectively to enhance care delivery, record-keeping, and operational efficiency

▪ Provide the Secretariat function to support the co-chairs of the APPG for Global LGBT+ Rights to deliver the APPG’s strategy and work plan.
