We are seeking a persuasive writer and relationship builder, with a strong track record of income generation from trusts and foundations, and ideally experience of statutory bidding. Coram is a complex organisation, so you will enjoy dealing with a very varied range of projects and service activities to seek out the information you need, have a strong eye for detail, and be able to think and prioritise logically. We’d like you to build on an existing portfolio of funders, developing them and bringing in new trusts and foundations.

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As an Assistant Nursery Manager, you will play a key leadership role in our nursery, managing a team of 13 and delivering a huge variety of plants throughout the year.

Reporting to the Hyde Park Nursery Manager, you will line manage a team of 12 staff and one supervisor, overseeing the bedding requirements of all six Royal Parks.

You will manage systems and resources on a day-to-day basis, ensuring we produce high quality crops at the right time, directing, specifying, monitoring and giving technical guidance.

Involved in all aspects of team management and nursery operations, you will ensure all team members are suitably trained, help manage the production list, control stock and assist with budgeting.

Your role will also involve:

• Managing an active volunteer programme
• Procurement activities
• Managing temperature and moisture control, pests and diseases
• Environmental management
• Troubleshooting for equipment
• Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota (to be confirmed)

About You

To be considered as an Assistant Nursery Manager, you will need:

• Experience in production horticulture
• Experience in line management, managing a team of operational staff
• Experience in writing and reviewing risk assessments, undertaking H&S checks and toolbox talks

You will be able to form relationships with Government, Trade Unions, business groups, Equality and Human Rights
Commission and voluntary sector organisations. Working with staff across the organisation

About the role
As the Mental Health Hub Service Lead, you will collaborate with the Director of Children and Young People Services and Clinical Leads to drive the strategic growth and development of the organisation's services. We are looking for an empathic, organised and intuitive wellbeing professional to join our student support team in the Department of Design Engineering. 

As one of two part-time student wellbeing advisers in the department, your primary work will be to provide direct one-to-one support for our postgraduate and undergraduate students. This might include conversations about mental health, relationships, sexuality, finance, studies, family issues, neurodiversity, disability, accommodation, bereavement, trauma and other topics. 

The role also involves liaising with academic colleagues, signposting students to internal & external provisions, and running occasional group wellbeing initiatives. You will be a part of developing the wellbeing provision and supporting in upskilling academic staff around wellbeing and mental health issues.

The role is part time 0.4 FTE (2 days per week) and is a fixed term contract for 2 years. The role requires 60% (or more) in-person work at our South Kensington campus, with the option to work the remainder from home. There are certain weeks of the year such as welcome week, exam weeks, and coursework deadline periods where in-person working on both days is required.

Duties and responsibilities

You will provide:

Wellbeing advice – you will listen, support and advise students on wellbeing issues they present with. The aim is to provide a safe, confidential, collaborative space for students to discuss whatever is on their mind. This might be a single conversation, short term support or more regular, ongoing check-ins depending on the situation. At times you will signpost students to internal/external services and liaise with appropriate staff as needed.

You will also:

· Run group wellbeing initiatives for students

· Liaise with colleagues regarding students who need extra academic support due to wellbeing issues

· Support necessary students to access Imperial’s Disability Advice Service, and ensure their required adjustments are communicated to the education team

· Contribute to the department’s EDI committee

· Complete record-keeping and administrative duties related to the role

· Use your own insight and initiative to develop the wellbeing provision

Essential requirements

· You will have experience working with students in a further or higher education setting, or working with young adults in another relevant setting (such as a charity, healthcare, mental health, or a counselling/therapeutic setting).

· You will hold a relevant qualification.

· You will have experience of working within relevant professional protocols and policies, including safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality.

· Experience of providing counselling support to individuals and providing staff training would be considered an advantage, as would accreditation from a recognised professional body in the fields of mental health, wellbeing, counselling or psychotherapy (e.g. BACP, UKCP, HCPC, NCS, BABCP) although not essential.

The purpose of the role is to support the Regional Community Fundraising Manager in fulfilling the organisational objectives of developing and optimising on community fundraising and volunteer initiatives.

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience in establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders
• Experience in project coordination i.e. events and campaigns 
• Experience of organising and supervising events
• Experience of recruiting, managing and developing volunteers
• Experience in motivating and managing volunteers
• Experience in professional fundraising  
• Full UK Driving license 
• Knowledge and understanding of the local region and community

• Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing as well as build relationships with people of all backgrounds, levels and settings

• Proven ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines, prioritising a variety of important and urgent, but diverse tasks
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with high standards of computer literacy including MS office packages. 
• Numerical skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure and pay attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and plan work, set and achieve deadlines, establish and maintain monitoring systems etc.
• Ability to represent Islamic Relief in a wide range of situations
• Good understanding of international development and humanitarian work
• Good understanding of the Fundraising sector, standards, practises and frameworks.

About the role

We are recruiting a pivotal new role in our Supporter Fundraising and Engagement Team at Freedom from Torture. The Senior Data & Insight Manager will be a huge asset to our Fundraising and Comms Directorate leading on the management of all fundraising data and delivering analytics to influence investment decisions and support engagement and income growth.

We are looking for a proactive individual to take our data team to the next level, bringing together the management of our data and CRM (ALMs and Engaging Networks predominantly), data protection and compliance, insight and reporting, testing strategies and innovation and our data transformation project.

With the support of our data services agency and line managing a Data Officer, the right candidate will have full authority delivering the data needs of the department and wider Fundraising & Communications directorate, including digital fundraising and Philanthropy & Partnerships. They will offer solutions and recommendations drawing on their personal experience, the experience gained through their peer networks and the opportunities they've seen from technical advances in the sector and beyond.

Last year we developed a KPI generator using Power BI to produce a live reporting tool. On completion it will create an invaluable easy access platform for fundraising team members to view their key performance metrics. This year we have started a Data Transformation project reviewing processes across our Fundraising & Comms and Finance teams. If appointed you have the opportunity to shape both projects, leading on implementation and systems change and ensuring we put in place a data infrastructure that will serve us well into the future.

We are looking for an experienced data and insights practitioner who understands the needs of a fundraising team with a diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate the technical know-how, ability to analyse data and spot trends and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.

Our policy is that all appointments will be at the start of the salary range but successful candidates will have the opportunity to move up the scale over time. The progression up the salary range is reviewed on an annual basis and subject to affordability. For this role, the salary range is £45,133 - £52,354.

As the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager you will be responsible for researching suitable five and six figure funding opportunities that are in line with Whizz Kidz's strategic plan and fundraising priorities. New business will be an initial key focus for the role, the post holder will also manage a number of existing high value grants and ensure strong stewardship of existing partnerships.

They are looking for fundraisers with experience of identifying and successfully securing five and six figure grants from Trusts and Foundations. The ideal candidate will have an excellent ability to prospect research for funding opportunities and manage trust fundraisers to get the best results.
