You'll support the Corporate New Business Manager with the account management of corporate partnerships and generating new income through securing new corporate partnerships.
You'll support the development and ongoing review of the prospect pipeline, researching companies and sectors with an affinity for our work, whilst managing a portfolio of small to medium sized partnerships (worth approximately £5-75k per annum). You'll produce high quality written proposals and pitch materials, as well as organising volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working within Corporate Partnerships, or another fundraising income stream.
- Experience of supporter relationship management with a track record of building successful relationships.
- The ability to work independently, using own initiative and creativity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels.

The Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) will play a critical role in overseeing Muslim Aid’s data protection strategy and its implementation to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. This is a permanent, part-time position, requiring three days a week.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, and other relevant legislation in the countries where INGO operates.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data protection, privacy law, or a related field, preferably within an INGO or non-profit environment.
- In-depth knowledge of global data protection laws and practices, including GDPR, and an understanding of the legal and regulatory environments in the countries where INGO operates.
- Strong understanding of information technology and data management practices, with the ability to work effectively with ICT professionals to implement technical data protection measures.

About the role:
Single Homeless Project's in house psychotherapy has secured further funding to provide psychotherapy/counselling and psycho-educational groups for young people (16-25 years old) who are using SHP's accommodation and support provision. The post provides a psychologically informed service to young people and the care teams who support them.
We are currently looking to recruit a young person's psychotherapist for 6 months maternity cover, who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering in person interventions which are preventions focused rather than crisis management. This will include both individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation group work, which will be co-produced, informative and enlightening on bio-social-physiological responses to trauma; for example abusive relationships, racism and poverty.
It is highly likely this contract will be extended to 12 months after internal funding decisions have been made, this cannot be confirmed at this time but will be discussed further in interview with any shortlisted candidates. The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) was established in 2000 and is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists, referred to as ECEIM Diplomates. Currently the college is run by a team of dedicated trustees and are eager to take the next step and create capacity for growth.
This is a brand new role and in which you will have the opportunity to shape and develop what a successful Chief Operating Officer looks like for this exciting and far reaching college. Your role will be to enable ECEIM to operate more effectively in order to facilitate the College’s growth, working with the board members to understand their vision, and work to enhance, develop and support on existing key processes and procedures that help the college to run effectively. This role will ultimately support ECEIM’s mission and key objectives to advance equine internal medicine in Europe and increase the competency of those who practice in this field.
Whilst this role has an exciting future focus, a key part of your remit will be to oversee the day-to-day running of the college and help ensure everything is working well, keeping abreast of important deadlines such as key governance and compliance or liaising with external partner firms to ensure that they deliver key events on ECEIM’s behalf.
While much of your role may be administrative or operational in nature at first, there is also great scope to input into the colleges longer term strategic direction, all of which is leading to sustainable growth and increasing the impact of what ECEIM have set out to do.
About you:
You’ll bring both a practical and solutions based mindset as well as the ability to see the bigger picture in order to facilitate ECEIM’s longer term strategy. As this is a brand new role you will need to feel confident in the listening and learning phase as well as being able to see the improvements, recommend developments and create any next steps needed to support the ECEIM board and ultimately get the role off the ground.
You will have the chance to utilise your experience in both big picture thinking, as well as your ability to design and develop processes and ways of working that will help ECEIM to take the next steps.
Using your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills you’ll be able to foster positive relationships with volunteers, members and other professional bodies, including working directly with ECEIM’s key committees, helping them stay connected, informed and working as best as they can.
You will also bring a strong financial awareness and both ‘know how’ to action financial processes, working with the treasurer, but also to be able to spot when specialist skills may be needed to support you. Experience with data analysis and reporting is essential.
Whilst it is advantageous for you to have held a similar role before, a background in project or programme management, leading a department, operations management or financial management could bring the blend of key skills that will help you be successful in this role.
An understanding of academia and the importance of professionalism, credentials and high level qualifications is helpful and while an understanding the importance of ECEIM’s mission and animal welfare is essential, you don't need to have necessarily had any experience in the animal welfare sector.
What we can offer you:
Salary: circa £30,000 to £32,000 per annum, actual (circa £56,000 to £60,000 FTE). This would be reviewed on an annual basis.
Location: Remote role, working from home. UK based.
Hours of work: Your contracted hours are 20 hours per week. Exact working pattern can be discussed with the successful candidate. With a role at this level you may be expected to be flexible with that pattern at times, and as ECEIM’s remit is across Europe and beyond, you may also have the opportunity to travel with the role.
Pension: ECEIM will provide a pension contribution of 3% of salary; the employee will contribute a minimum of 5% of salary.
Holiday: 28 days annual leave FTE pro rata, so 15 days for 20 hours per week; plus Bank Holidays.

About ECEIM
The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists.
The ECEIM was established in 2000 and in 2010 became a fully recognised member of the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), a regulatory Board of all European veterinary specialty colleges. As a recognised EBVS specialist in equine internal medicine serves the veterinary patient, its owner and the public by providing expert care for horses, ponies, donkeys, mules and other Equidae with medical diseases. The postholder will work closely with our research partners on projects related to health and care workforce. This includes a system dynamics model of future nurse supply in England.
The Health Foundation’s Research and Economic Analysis for the Long term (REAL) Centre was set up in 2019 to improve the evidence base for strategic decisions in the health and care system, such as relate to funding, service priorities and workforce. This role is to provide maternity cover for our Support for Boarding programme. You will be the key point of contact for schools, families and young people supported by us, working within a larger Grants team. We are not accepting new applications from August 2024, so you will lead the annual renewals process to confirm bursary grants for current students, manage grant payments, oversee the programme budget and contribute to deeper thinking about the programme as we develop it further.

The post will be managed by the North-West and South Yorkshire Programme Manager. The post holder will have regular meetings for input and guidance to complete tasks to specified timelines. This role would suit an experienced administrator.

We’re looking to recruit a Senior Communications and Engagement Officer to join the friendly CharityComms team to help us plan, organise and deliver communications and engagement outputs that support the needs of members, and drive organisational development.
A core part of the job will be overseeing the CharityComms’ social media work, by managing our channels, creating content, and delivering on our social media strategy to engage people and increase our brand profile.
Other key tasks include content creation and commissioning projects for our website, and having a supporting role in other general communications, engagement and marketing activity and administration as needed. Purpose of the role
You will be working with the Communications and Engagement team to promote CharityComms and what we offer, through the creation and development of effective and engaging content, and community and stakeholder engagement.
Communications and content are at the heart of this role, and we’re looking for someone with demonstratable experience in strategic, content-based projects, including commissioning and editing content from external stakeholders, social media management and content creation, and community management.
Social media management and community engagement
You will own the social media management of our channels, maximising their performance and supporting stakeholder engagement with our work. You will:
- Deliver and adapt a creative and engaging social content strategy with the Communications and Engagement Manager that meets our wider business aims and objectives.
- Craft key organisational messaging into engaging social media content and posts to generate conversations.
- Be responsible for creating, scheduling and managing social content using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and our management tool, Sprout Social.
- Responsible for maintaining upkeep of social analytics reporting, as directed by the Communications and Engagement Manager, to ensure activity supports wider marketing, communications and engagement strategies.
- Continuously improve our social media presence and brand profile, including recommending and piloting new approaches to content and channel development to increase community engagement and meet targets.
- Manage and monitor forum and social media groups and act as facilitator of conversations where needed, working closely with relevant colleagues and stakeholders.

Content commissioning and creation

- Play an active role in content creation and marketing activity – including designing, producing and editing creative content i.e. graphics, photography, videos.
- Develop, coordinate and update long-form pieces for our website, i.e. best practice guides and templates.
- Have remit to commission content projects – using own initiative to develop initial pitches relevant to charity communicators and oversee the commissioning process.
- Work with external providers where necessary to develop resources and creative materials where required.
- Stay up to date with current communications, marketing and content trends, to advise the wider CharityComms team on best practice regarding content and campaigns, including accessibility.
Website and email comms
Working collaboratively with teams where needed or taking key roles to:
- Edit, upload, and publish content on the CharityComms website as directed.
- Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to continuously deliver on website strategy activities.
- Work alongside the Communications and Engagement Manager to deliver eNews campaigns. This could include commissioning, writing, research, proof-reading, scheduling, maintaining lists and reporting on performance as needed.
- Actively provide feedback to the Communications and Engagement Manager and Head of Membership and Insight on planned activities and make recommendations for improvements.
Other activities
- Ability and confidence to deputise for the Communications and Engagement Manager where necessary.
