St Joseph’s Hospice has an exciting role on offer within the Volunteers Team. We are seeking an experienced Volunteering Support Officer who, ideally, has previous administration experience and an understanding of working with volunteers and who is able to provide support to volunteering admin across the team. In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for the day-to-day admin in the team, including applying for volunteers’ references and DBS checks and uploading adverts onto recruitment sites. You will also have an opportunity to assist in volunteer information sessions and training and provide other admin support as needed. To be successful, you will have proven administration, organisation and communication skills, experience of communicating with a diverse range of people, and the ability to work independently. You may also have experience of supporting group workshops and delivering presentations.

You will need:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent IT skills with the proven ability to use a variety of IT packages and databases.

About the Team:
The Digital Product team sits within the Mass Engagement Department, which is part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. About the Role:
As Digital Analyst, you'll drive the organisation's understanding of how WaterAid supporters come to our digital platforms (including websites, advertising and social media) and what compels them to support or interact with us.

In this role, you will work with teams across WaterAid to understand our audiences, map their behaviour and make recommendations for improving campaigns.

You'll also:

• Be available to answer queries from stakeholders by ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Own, maintain, and develop the technical implementation of new and existing digital analytics tools on WaterAid's digital assets.
• Train and support users across WaterAid (including global teams) in the basic use of our primary analytics reporting packages.
• Develop hypotheses about user behaviour and seek to validate these through data analysis and testing, working these hypotheses into ongoing analysis where possible.
• Protect the user experience and interests of WaterAid's supporters, such as those relating to data privacy, in all digital activities.

About You:

• Experience of using and implementing a web analytics clickstream tool such as Google/Adobe etc.
• Experience of using Google Tag Manager
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Commitment to WaterAid's values.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience of using session recordings, heatmaps, or online surveys to augment web clickstream data.
• Understanding/knowledge of the INGO sector.

The service is based in Stratford, London. Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical, and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health distress. This will consist of 1:1 and group support; de-escalating and providing interventions, signposting for specialised or longer-term support, and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing.

• Enrich: focus on the future of CEC's strategic direction
• Advise: mobilising their voice in key projects and priorities

The Careers & Enterprise Company is seeking to recruit an 18-month fixed term Youth Engagement Officer to support the administration, facilitation and delivery of youth engagement and participation across our organisation. The role will sit within the Education Development Team and work closely with our Youth Advisory Group and Youth Board members. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to champion youth voice and deliver high quality youth participation activities.

This new role has an exciting remit to develop practice, to innovate in youth voice practice, to lead on the operational delivery of the Youth Advisory Group and support with the strategic direction of this work. Reporting directly to the Education Manager responsible for youth voice, but also working effectively across the directorate and across the company, you will manage the delivery of various aspects of our operations including, but not limited to:

Responding to changing needs of the company, skills of the YAG members and proactively planning for project pivots, will be essential to success in this role. About The Role

The Volunteering Development Officer (VDO) plays a pivotal role in sculpting our volunteering support within the Home-Start network. This role will be instrumental in enabling brilliant volunteering practice in our network of Home-Starts, specifically by working to enhance volunteer engagement and recruitment. The VDO will support excellent communication and collaboration with local experts, sector professionals, and volunteer leaders across various organisations. The VDO's responsibilities include providing hands-on support and insights for volunteer recruitment and volunteering best practice, as well as crafting evidence-based guidelines, policies, and tools that align with our strategic objectives for volunteering.

The VDO will manage volunteer inquiries at Home-Start UK, ensuring a seamless connection with prospective volunteers. As the main operator of our volunteer matching system, the VDO also plays a key role in internal dialogues about training, development, and volunteer support practices.

Occupying a vital position within the Practice Development Team as part of the Network Impact Directorate, the VDO supports a coherent approach to development, quality, and engagement initiatives. The role is crucial in building solid relationships and trust throughout the Home-Start network, ultimately amplifying our impact on a growing number of families.

About the Role

Located in Portobello, this is a busy shop in a brilliant location, with a vibrant community!  As Shop Manager, you'll be leading the volunteer team, as well as focusing on further recruitment to grow our volunteer team and building strong connections within the local community to ensure the shop's continued success.

About You

You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a retail team previously 
• A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and successful community-led shop, ideally with some experience within Retail or a clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends
• A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.

Previous charity retail experience is ideal, but not essential. If you have transferable leadership skills or experience managing volunteers in other settings and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

Ways of Working: On-site – this role will be based in the Portobello shop. We're looking for someone able to work 5 days (35 hours) per week to include some weekend working.

Ways of Working:

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reprieve team as our Head of Mass Engagement covering parental leave.

With the support of the Deputy Director of Development, you will lead our fast‐moving and creative Mass Engagement Team to:

- Power Individual Giving and Public Fundraising across multiple channels.

- Engage our community of supporters (currently about 95,000 people in the UK and 9,000 in the US) to donate and take action for Reprieve

- Inspire others to support Reprieve’s work, running campaigns across our social channels.

Our Mass Engagement work is at a pivotal moment. Reprieve’s income from through regular and individual giving, generated largely by email fundraising, has experienced a drop with many of our supporters understandably reassessing their charitable giving in the face of the economic crisis.

You will oversee the delivery and implementation of Reprieve’s recently launched Mass Engagement strategy. You will be energised to bring your skills, experience and knowledge to implement and deliver these plans, testing opportunities to diversify and grow the programme.

The Mass Engagement team works closely with the wider Development Team and colleagues across the organisation, supporting each other to reach their objectives.

About you

You will have a deep level of skill and expertise in mass fundraising, either through Individual Giving, Digital or Community and Events, with demonstrable experience managing a budget and making decisions about the best use of resources to deliver income targets.  

You will be a dynamic leader with management experience and will foster an aspirational and creative environment within your team, while working across departments to ensure our content reflects organisational values, priorities and objectives. You will be able to demonstrate that you can oversee complex work streams and competing priorities, while supporting, inspiring and empowering your team to achieve targets.

Salary and duration

The annual salary is £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. This is an approximately 10 month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave, beginning in mid-October.

Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 2 days a week from the London office and the rest of the week from home.  We are open to discussing individual circumstances, as this is a fixed term contract.
