Role purpose
As we continue our exciting growth plans in 2024 to deliver on our ambitious goals and refreshed strategy, we’re looking for an experienced policy and public affairs professional who will develop policy and deliver change to improve access to fair financial services for people who are financially excluded.
You will be joining a collaborative and purpose driven team overseen by a committed board. This pivotal role will suit someone who is passionate about influencing public policy, regulation, legislation and industry practice, and building the support of stakeholders and policymakers.
Our team is drawn from a range of backgrounds spanning leaders and changemakers from across the financial services and social purpose sectors. The reach and influence of our team makes this an exciting place to work and enables us to engage important stakeholders at the highest levels.
Some key responsibilities
In this role your focus will be split across two key areas of work:
Strategic influencing
· Engage with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and policy makers to build support for policy positions
· Build relationships with counterparts at partner organisations in the financial service industry and the third sector
· Attend external events, such as roundtables and parliamentary events, to influence key stakeholders and build relationships
Policy development and delivery
· Maintain an understanding of the latest developments in the financial inclusion policy landscape, and the financial services regulatory landscape as relevant to financial inclusion
· Develop key overarching policy positions, which will then feed into policy programmes and consultations
· Analyse issues in the financial inclusion landscape to develop policy positions
· Respond to public consultations which have relevance to financial inclusion, bringing in input from across stakeholders and the team

About the Role:
This role is a hybrid working role and is based at our Old Street offices, Islington, London for a minimum of one day a week and at our hospital co-location St Helliers Sutton subject to operational demand. As a Domestic Abuse Service Manager you will be:
- Effectively managing and developing a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk.
- Managing a team of IDVAs providing regular supervision, case review and support.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and management skills/ experience with a resourceful pro-active attitude and ability to use own initiative.
- Ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the service specification and performance targets set by the services funders, as well as in line with SafeLives criteria for delivering domestic abuse services. The services will also be in line with Victim Support's policies, IDVA procedures, business process and plan.
- Ensuring that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
- Taking the lead in crisis situations and providing advice and guidance on risk, safeguarding issues and information sharing GDPR concerns.

Summary of the role
The International Salesforce and Systems Project Manager will manage and coordinate the ongoing development of our Salesforce platform and associated integrations. The role will also include support of other change projects where needed in the organization.
As a Salesforce expert and experienced project manager, the post holder will lead and participate in requirements gathering and discovery sessions, understanding organizational needs, defining and mapping requirements, drive user testing and helping to create user stories. Working Closely with their line manager - International Salesforce Developer and Product Owner (SDPO) - they will make sure the organizational requirements are correctly captured and defined, technical requirements are accurately translated, and any change requests follow a clear process.
They will have significant stakeholder management skills, working with staff of all levels across all our countries, as well as external companies, contractors, and third parties. They will lead meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, listen to users' needs, and accurately represent users.
With an understanding of Agile methodologies, UAT, Sprints, and project backlogs, they will be exceptional communicators and bring a proactive and efficient approach to their work.
Requirements for the role:
To be successful in the role you will need to be:
- Experienced project manager with a track record of successful project delivery using agile and traditional project methodologies
- Qualified Salesforce Administrator with proven experience
- Organized - able to project plan in detail, manage project backlogs, report on progress, manage change control processes, explain technical systems requirements in simple terms for non-experts
- Strong communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels (internally and externally) and report on project updates in an appropriate and timely manner
- Have experience in training preparation and delivery.

This is a varied role which will see you work across all departments using a variety of CI methods and tools, where no day will look the same.
What we're looking for
You will have specialist knowledge and experience of CI methods and tools at Lean Green Belt level and experience of delivering improvements in line with CI methodologies, tools and artefacts across streams, including analysing processes, delivering process mapping, identifying and planning process re-engineering, conducting root cause analysis.
You will have experience of delivering CI training such as Standard Work, Waste Identification, Visual Management, Problem Solving, both in-person and online.
You will have experience of facilitating workshops for process mapping as well as the documentation of process maps.
You will also have experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation, including coaching and challenging to maximise benefits.
