THE ROLE: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) / Permanent / Working Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to join us managing West Sussex Tranisitonal Housing. Transitional Housing provides homes for young people in a range of settings across the county. Service is low to medium support for young people in a range of accommodations who are established in managing their own daily living skills and can keep themselves safe. 

The focus of the work is to engage creatively with young people to identify, map and encourage growth of their strengths and talents as they develop into a sustainable and independent adulthood. The Supported Housing manager is responsible for the daily operations at Tranisitional Housing, providing a high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing accommodation for young people at risk whilst leading and developing the team. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:

-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:

- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices

- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives

-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times

-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed

-- General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality

You will already have experience of leading supported housing services, with proven experience in safeguarding in a supported housing environment. You will have a sound knowledge of the additional risks incurred by children and young people who have multiple, and complex needs due to their experiences and knowledge of trauma informed practice and how to create psychologically informed environments. In addition, you will be flexible, with the ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with competing priorities. Ideally you will have knowledge and knowledge of Ofsted.

Co-Production Community Engagement Lead

Due to the charity taking yet another step to prepare the organisation to live and breathe co-production – from the Board of Trustees to every single member of staff team and volunteers, we have an exciting opportunity for a Co-Production and Community Engagement Delivery and Strategy Lead to join the team.

The charity has a long history of working with people and exploring different ways of co-producing and giving proper voice to people with lived experience of mental health issues, so this is an exciting time to come on board.

The Role

The Retail Divisional Support Manager involves working closely with the Divisional Managers to enable our shops to trade when there are vacancies or sickness. The role will play a key role in maintaining and improving the running of our shops day to day and enable us to maximise sales and profit. About Lepra

Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. We have just finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.

Background & Context to the Consultancy

Our new Global Strategy introduces some new approaches and priorities to our work, including: our first ever global Theory of Change (ToC), the most detailed Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach ever, and a sub-strategy dedicated to our Advocacy work. With the finalisation of the new strategy, and as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our impact and efficiency, we are now seeking a consultant to provide specialised support in Monitoring & Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), capacity development, and related areas.

Purpose & Objectives of the Consultancy

The primary objective of this consultancy is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Lepra’s programmes through robust MEAL practices, capacity development, and comprehensive support across various operational areas including advocacy, knowledge management, safeguarding, project cycle management, and cross-team collaboration.

Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for the following key areas over a six-month period:

MEAL

• Strengthening the capacity of the teams across the organisation to effectively deliver on the ToC and the MEAL strategy.
• Ensure that baseline, midline and endline evaluations for selected projects are conducted.
• Develop / roll out tools and methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support the development of new proposals with a MEAL and project management cycle approach.
• Coach staff and partners on the newly established MEAL framework and on best practices.
• Complete the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development process across the organisation. (Coordination of SOP review & revision, both internal and external).
• Establish mechanisms for community feedback and accountability.
• Facilitate learning sessions and workshops to share insights and best practices.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge management system to capture and disseminate lessons learned and success stories.
• Implement systems for capturing and organising project data and resources.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Capacity Development

• Support existing capacity development efforts with specific emphasis on implementing a project cycle management approach to the delivery of programmes, so that all projects are created, executed, and completed in a standardised manner across the organisation.
• Roll out the Capacity Development Needs Assessment (CDNA) to identify and respond to further areas for improvement.
• Design and deliver training programmes to build skills in MEAL, project management, and other relevant areas.
• Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to staff and partners.

Advocacy Support

• With the team, develop advocacy strategies and materials to support Lepra’s mission.
• Coach staff on advocacy techniques and stakeholder engagement.
• Support the development of advocacy campaigns and monitor their impact.

Safeguarding

• Support the implementation of newly developed processes in relation to the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (PSEA) and Safeguarding (SG).
• Ensure safeguarding measures are integrated into all project activities.

Project Cycle Management Support

• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of projects.
• Support the development of project proposals and reports.
• Ensure projects are aligned with donor requirements and organizational goals.

Outputs of the Consultancy

• Monthly progress reports detailing activities, achievements, and challenges.
• Project Data processes firmly established and embedded into all projects to measure project impact.
• All selected projects designed with baselines, midlines and endlines.
• Staff coaching priorities identified with corresponding coaching/training package in place.
• Community feedback mechanisms established.
• Learning workshops conducted.

As a Youth & Mentor Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and engaging environments for young people to learn, grow, and thrive. Your responsibilities include leading BelEve workshops, activities, and discussions that promote skill development, personal growth, and positive social interaction among young people within our community.

8. Report & Evaluation of BelEve Programmes

9. Collaborating with Stakeholders

Work closely with other youth workers, volunteers, partner organisations, schools, and community leaders to coordinate activities and resources for youth development.

The fundraising team raise approximately £400K annually and aspiring to grow by over half a million by 2025.
