The Talent Set is delighted to be working in partnership with Mary's Meals UK as they recruit for this exciting new Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships role, established with investment in the Major Giving and Partnerships team due to the significant growth and success they have achieved in recent years.
As Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships you will focus on major donor, mid value and corporate fundraising. You will lead the team to develop new and existing relationships with individuals/partners who are able to contribute significant funds to the organisation, while working closely with the Head of Institutional Giving & Partnerships to identify audience crossover and maximise the potential of high value fundraising opportunities.
This role will lead the team in fostering a relationship-led approach to fundraising, strategising for major donor and corporate fundraising whilst remaining operationally hands on and networking/influencing to establish new connections and opportunities for the organisation. As part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT), you will also feed into organisational strategy and leadership, ensuring all work is delivered in line with Mary's Meals values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the philanthropic and corporate fundraising strategies, working alongside the Head of Institutional Giving & Partnerships to develop an overarching departmental strategy that allows for close collaboration;
- Proactively identify new prospects/supporters, securing mid/major donor support and corporate income in line with team income targets;
- Foster a culture of relationship-led fundraising, focused on stewardship and retention of existing donors that allows for long-term, increasing levels of support;
- Provide strategic leadership to the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team (4), supporting professional development and a culture of learning/collaboration.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrable expertise of relationship-led fundraising, personally securing major donor and/or corporate partnerships, with a focus on high value, long term support;
- Proactive approach, actively building networks and engaging new prospects through a variety of channels;
- Focused on supporter journeys and ensuring exceptional stewardship to drive engagement and income;
- Strong team leader, able to inspire and coach a talented team to achieve targets and develop professionally.

To enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures and a geographical area in the community to move towards greater independence by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. Floating Support Worker will give practical support to help people maintain their tenancy, stay well, exercise choice and control in their care and lives and participate in the community. What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers.
* Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Your role
As our new parent adviser you’ll join our wonderful team in Wales as part of our Building Resilience Project.
In this part time, home-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor parent carers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are best for their families. You’ll also help create and deliver well-being workshops for parent carers to empower, inform, and reduce their stress and help increase their confidence so they are able to access the benefits they are entitled to. And you’ll work in partnership with money advice organisations across Wales, to set up referrals for parent carers to make sure they get all the financial support they need.
What we’re looking for
- Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children in Wales.
- Ability to support and mentor parent carers to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are right for their families.
- Experience in creating, facilitating, and delivering workshops

About the role

A dynamic, friendly and innovative care and support business known for its life-changing services is looking for a dedicated and target driven Income and Housing Officer who can maximise the organisation's rental income collection, effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.
Managing a patch of 400+ units across our services you will ensure that challenging rent collection targets are met but also that everything is done to avoid eviction. Your personal qualities are as important in this role as your work experience.
Working alongside Operational Colleagues, the Income and Housing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of generic Housing Management services across their patch with the main focus on Income Collection and some ASB management. You will be expected to meet tight KPI's increasing rent collection and carry out rent arrears actions at all stages from the initial warning letters to the eviction stage.
In order to effectively deliver the services listed above to their patch, the Income and Housing Officer will need to work closely with Contract Managers and Support Workers working within our projects to empower and enable them to carry out their responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are a pre-requisite to the role. The post holder will be extremely flexible and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time.
Fixed term contract of 6-9 months
Needs to be able to travel, some homeworking but priority is out on site visiting customers in their homes and having a presence in the community.
This role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK as Look Ahead are not a sponsoring organisation.
What you'll do:
Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases
Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Housing Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency

An understanding of the needs of customers who have experienced homelessness and who may also have support needs.
Excellent time management skills to systematically monitor arrears and complete other tasks in a logical and systematic way.

An understanding of how to effectively deal with breaches of occupancy such as anti-social behaviour and abandonment. .

Prospectus is delighted to be working with Your Place for their new Facilities Officer. Your Place's mission is to build hope and enable lasting change to end homelessness for people in east London. They are a growing charity, helping people who've lost their homes to regain their self-belief and rebuild their lives.
Please note this is a full-time role being offered on a permanent basis.
The facilities Officer will be responsible for the building, reactive building works, renovation, and repair of the building. Working as a senior member of the maintenance team under the supervision of the Facilities Manager.
Additionally, this person will ensure that day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance of Your Place properties are efficiently and effectively carried out. The post-holder will monitor the performance of internal operatives and contractors handling communications and ensuring the work is carried out in line with completion targets and quality standards. Furthermore, the Senior Maintenance Officer will carry out minor repairs to the buildings, plumbing and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in facilities, and ideally experience working as part of a team and interacting with a variety of people. A basic understanding of health and safety and risk assessment is necessary. The role requires flexibility, including the ability to work evenings and weekends on a rota. Additionally, holding a clean driving license is essential.

About the role:
The Head of Centre Operations is responsible for delivering the Trust’s strategic aims through a team of over ninety employees, as well as a significant number of volunteers across the organisations five rescue and re-homing centres and remote supporter groups.
This is a ‘hands-on’ role, the Head of Operations will plan, lead and consistently deliver in the charity’s rescue, rehoming and preventative work; maintaining high standards of animal welfare and customer service at all times.

The ideal person for this role will have a strong track record of management and leading teams across multiple site locations, you will also have experience in the following:

JOB SUMMARY
