About the role

You will:

- Provide direct advocacy support to children and young people children and young people experiencing, or at risk, of homelessness. You will hold a caseload, and be committed to championing the rights of these young people, working with a broad range of other stakeholders and agencies to do so.

- Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Homelessness Outreach Project.

- You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for homeless children and young people.

Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. For the right candidate, we may also be able to offer this post as a Trainee position, and offer support to gain qualifications. The salary offered will reflect the candidate’s experience and skills.

As a Research and Insight Analyst at the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), you will be a key member of the Analysis and Insights (A&I) team, dedicated to empowering the NFCC and UK Fire and Rescue Services with actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. You will work collaboratively with a team of research and data analysis professionals to support the team's objectives and contribute to the wider goals of the NFCC.

Your role will involve using your skills to deliver valuable insights through effective information gathering, detailed analysis, and comprehensive reporting. You will work on both routine and ad-hoc projects, supporting the team in responding to major events within the fire and rescue sector.

Key responsibilities of a Research & Insight Analyst:

Following the processes and policies set out in the A&I team’s terms of reference document, to ensure high quality, consistent approaches to all work.

Designing and executing information gathering exercises, ensuring that they are clear, easy to understand and will yield the information required to produce the identified output.

Information gathering methods primarily include designing online survey tools and question sets but can also include workshops, interviews and focus groups.

Ensuring the validation and quality assurance of any information gathered to ensure that all insights gathered are accurate and statistically significant.

Interpreting findings and drawing meaningful conclusions using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.

Producing clear, concise and well-structured outputs, utilising visualisations to enhance understanding and engagement when presenting to stakeholders. These outputs could be developed using MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI or similar.

Ensuring the Strategic Improvement Model (SIM) is kept up to date by reviewing and analysing reports about UK FRSs (from the inspectorate (HMICFRS), major inquiry reports, independently commissioned reports and other sources.

Supporting the work of the NFCC Organisational Learning team and ACER (Academic, Collaboration, Evaluation and Research) Group

Familiarity with research methodologies and outputs, such as literature reviews, and using them to identify trends, gaps, and best practices

Assisting as required when the A&I team is commissioned to support work related to major events or incidents

The successful candidate will have:

London's Air Ambulance treats patients who experience critical injury in the capital and support them and their families on a road to recovery. This is only possible through close collaboration between  London's Air Ambulance Charity, the London Ambulance Service (LAS), Barts Health NHS Trust (Barts), London's Major Trauma Centres and the wider Major Trauma Networks, to deliver groundbreaking care and save lives. To deliver this service the charity is split across two locations, with offices in Mansell St and in the Royal London Hospital.

London's Air Ambulance Charity has recently agreed an ambitious 15-year strategy to deliver the best possible care to the people of London. This strategy will involve growth into new areas of work, more complexity in income and expenditure streams, and an increased need for strong financial leadership to guide the charity, its staff and its board of trustees.

The Head of FP&A is a key member of the finance team and, alongside the Head of Financial Accounting, will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. The Head of FP&A is a key senior role in the charity to support the Directors, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret the charity's finances.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, IT and Facilities, the Head of FP&A will lead on the charity's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as having a key role in the long-term strategic financial planning process. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an innovative and independent Clinical Trials Unit (UKCRC fully registered) and help to deliver high-quality research in a unique and challenging setting. You will be key to helping us to successfully set-up and deliver an exciting new adaptive platform trial in paediatric intensive care as well as and helping our unit adapt ahead of conducting a phase II drug trial in critically-ill adults. You will ensure best practice, identify risks and mitigation strategies enhance local Standard Operating Procedures, interpret regulatory and audit requirements and provide guidance, training and support for clinical researchers and trial teams. The post will also involve leading in audits along with preparation for MHRA inspections.

What you will need to succeed

The Applicant must have clinical research experience and experience of conducting managing, auditing or monitoring according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice. A sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, the Data Protection Act and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and its amendments is essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills together with a high level of attention to detail. They must be able to work independently with a strong problem-solving ability. The Outward Bound Trust is committed to making these experiences accessible to all young people, offering funding to break down financial barriers.  The newly created role of Major Gifts Manager will be crucial to their fundraising aims, managing and coordinating the Major Donor programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an effective stewardship plan creating timely and meaningful engagement with major donors
• Managing a portfolio of Major Donors, developing relationships and commitment to enhanced donations
• Work with the senior leadership team and board to coordinate communication and relationships with donors
• Create compelling propositions for donors, this will also include capital projects

Person Specification:

• The role would suit an experienced major donor officer or executive looking to further their career.
•  Must have experience of managing stewardship and solicitation in a major gifts programme
•  Confidence in developing relationships with major donors and internal senior stake holders
• Ability to effectively use data and CRM to further facilitate stewardship of donors and unlocking potential of uplift donations

Salary - £37,000- £42,000

Flexible working patterns offered and part time working considered

60% in the London office. Some overnight and travel required on average once a month

We are now recruiting for a Governance and Planning Manager, a key role in ensuring that the Charity has robust plans and monitoring systems in place to drive progress and impact. You will also, crucially, help us to ensure that our high-profile trustees are supported effectively.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Governance and Planning Manager will be working with colleagues across the organisation to provide guidance on trustee governance and business planning. You will be demonstrating your experience of project management and helping to bring together our diverse and dedicate teams to support collaboration and a ‘one Charity’ approach.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be organised with strong attention to detail and ideally be qualified in a project management discipline, although we’ll also consider candidates with demonstrable experience in lieu of a qualification. You'll be an excellent minute-taker with strong report writing and planning skills.

You will also have strong influencing and interpersonal skills, able to build accountability across individuals at all levels the organisation to meet our collective targets and objectives.

About the role

This is an exciting time for Contact. We are embarking on a new strategy, with an aim to end the battle parent carers face when accessing help and support for their family.

As a critical member of the Executive team, you will play a central part in delivering on that aim, and help Contact to grow our reach, profile and impact for families across the UK.

In this role, you will lead a team of 40 and handle a budget of £2 million, including our core contract with the Department for Education to deliver a national helpline.
