About the role:
 

As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. Responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent supporter care and communication to help fundraisers reach targets and retain corporate partners and donors.
• Collaborate with the fundraising and wider Student Minds team to achieve fundraising objectives.
• Encourage fundraising and donations through regular communications and manage time-bound campaigns.
• Conduct research into new fundraising prospects in collaboration with the Fundraising and Development Manager and the Partnerships Manager.
• Manage supporter newsletters, including writing content and increasing distribution and engagement.
• Handle incoming enquiries regarding donations and fundraising activities and update supporter data in the charity database.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for community and corporate fundraising activities and events.
• Assist with strategic decision-making, ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, and support website content development.

The Heritage Collections Coordinator Role:

The Heritage Services’ mission is to create enabling environments where users can discover and be inspired by the story of Scouting, the Movement and its members. Key responsibilities as our Heritage Collections Coordinator:

• Lead on work relating to acquisitions including liaising with donors (internal and external) ensuring appropriate paperwork is completed and filed.  Ensure high level of user service is delivered.
• Make recommendations for disposal based on the Collections Policy and presenting these at Acquisitions and Disposal Meetings. Liaise with appropriate managers for disposal approval.  Where appropriate research and liaise with potential recipients ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
• Carry out acquisitions and disposals in accordance with the Museum Association Code of Ethics.
• Newly pack or repack poorly stored items to improve their long-term storage and preservation.

Purpose of role

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and creative tutor with excellent interpersonal, numeracy and digital skills; excellent written English and efficient organisational skills.

The aim is to support adult learners who need to improve their English language skills, working both individually and as part of the Adult Education team to plan and deliver an agreed number of ESOL courses.

Duties will include:

- To work as a member of the Adult Education Team, taking a full part in the organisation, planning and delivery of the ESOL Skills

- To comply with Health and Safety, carrying out the required administration (including monitoring and Ofsted and RARPA) and ensuring we run a safe and stimulating programme

- To plan independently in compliance with the ESOL Curriculum and to work creatively whilst exercising initiative and contributing own materials

- To regularly carry out and keep records of initial and diagnostic assessments

- To devise schemes of work and lesson plans for own courses

- To effectively lead a class/group of up to 16 students

- To act as an internal verifier for exams

- To devise Individual Learning Plans with students

- To collect, present and maintain feedback forms, samples of learners’ work, samples of formative and summative assessments, termly figures (progression routes and achievement grids), and end of course reviews

- To develop basic and appealing study packs/worksheets

We keep them physically active, teach them vital skills like teamwork, communication and leadership. And above all, they have fun. 
 

Chance to Shine takes cricket to new places and uses it to ignite new passions, teach vital skills, unite diverse groups, and educate young people from Cornwall to Canterbury to County Durham. 
 

Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. Chance to Shine Street supports young people in under-served communities to access and benefit from cricket in a free, inclusive, fun and fast-paced tape ball environment. 
 

The Director of Strategy Implementation is an exciting Senior Management role which will help to deliver Chance to Shine’s strategic plans and further our ambitions for young people. 
 

In February 2024 we launched Limitless Futures, a four year strategic vision that outlines our ambitions to further improve wellbeing amongst young people, grow from working with 600,000 young people a year to one million by 2028, and continue to prioritise underserved communities (young people in areas of economic disadvantage and those who are inactive). It is based on extensive consultation with young people, teachers, families, delivery partners, coaches and others. It is underpinned by clearly defined goals and KPIs, and accountable to Chance to Shine’s Board of Trustees. The person in this role will work collaboratively with Senior Management colleagues and the wider team to deliver on and refine these plans. 
 

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and efficient individual with a strong track record in collaborative working and delivering on ambitious projects to join a small and dynamic team. The person in this role does not need to have an understanding of cricket but must be driven to achieve ambitious plans to support young people’s wellbeing and development.  

We operate flexible working and as such team members currently work from the office (The Oval, London) on average about 2 days per week. This post-holder will need to be flexible as an when it is required to attend meetings, mostly in London but elsewhere around the country. 

 Please note that this role is a 12-month fixed term contract, less if the person you a covering returns from maternity leave earlier.

Purpose of the role 

The Director of Strategy Implementation will be part of the Senior Management Team and will work closely with the Chief Executive. 

The person in this role will oversee the implementation of the second year of strategy plans for Limitless Futures. They will collaborate with Fundraising, Operations, Communications, Finance and Impact colleagues to ensure progress is tracked and goals are met. In particular, they will work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure the fundraising plan needed to deliver this strategy is aligned to the wider organisations plans. 
 

The Director of Strategy Implementation will also own the delivery of specific projects to support the strategy. For example, but not limited to: design and implement a volunteering programme; develop a funding plan to increase the scale of work in secondary schools; embed youth voice practices into Chance to Shine work.

Insight and evidence underpin Chance to Shine’s strategy, and as such, the Director of Strategy Implementation will line manage the Head of Impact & Evaluation and provide guidance to the Impact team.

The Director of Strategy Implementation responsibilities include: 

·       The line management of Head of Impact & Evaluation, providing broader support to the Impact Department (three people)

About the role

• Leading on a busy needle exchange service, you will offer harm reduction advice & support to all people who access the service.
• You will oversee stock levels and ordering of new supplies, with an emphasis on ensuring all stock is stored safely.
• You will ensure policies, procedures, and quality control are in place for all people and staff when carrying out the Needle Exchange and further develop good practice.
• Delivering a non-judgemental, non-coercive needle exchange service that centres each person’s own goals in regard to their substance use and overall wellness.
• You will lead on delivery of Naloxone distribution & training to service users, internal services and external partners
• Lead on disseminating information around drug alerts to people accessing the Needle Exchange and internally across services
• Lead on a pilot wound care service delivered from the Centre’s needle exchange

About the role

Working within our small, dynamic staff team, this role will primarily provide support to the Executive Director in the following areas: communicating the work of the foundation to key stakeholders; lead on and maintaining relationships with trade union groups; driving forward our community grants programme, demonstrating the policy, research and campaign impact of the foundation; general strategic and managerial deputisation.

Solace offers extensive violence against women and girls (VAWG) services these include a range of advocacy and support options for survivors, supported accommodation and floating support services across London.

The Amari Project is a 2nd stage Supported Accommodation for women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked or who have exited Prostitution.

About the Role

We are looking for Two Part-Time Housing Support Case Workers who will provide support to women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked, or who have exited Prostitution within a safe accommodation in Enfield borough. 

You will be responsible for providing casework to women living within the supported accommodation. You will provide risk & and needs assessments to clients and co-develop client-led support plans to best suit their needs. You will support the service users to achieve their goals around education, training and employment in addition to providing support to improve their health and wellbeing. You will support them to maintain their license and move towards independent living. You will be responsible for house management, ensuring the property is maintained to a good standard and regularly coordinating health and safety checks and reporting issues and repairs to the Landlord. You will be responsible for collating monitoring data for your line manager on a quarterly basis.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of supporting women who have experienced trafficking and sexual exploitation. You will be required to have an awareness of the impacts of trauma on survivors of trafficking and sexually exploitation.

You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.

You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits.

Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
