About The Role:

The successful candidate will support the Community and Challenge Event Manager to find ways to increase engagement and bring fresh ideas to the team and steward fundraisers. This role will be responsible for maximising the value of fundraisers by helping to develop and deliver their supporter journey with MQ, whilst supporting the wider marketing team with producing content including blogs and social media.

Here's a summary of your key responsibilities:

• To foster and strengthen relationships with community fundraisers and challenge event fundraisers by developing and delivering tailored supporter journeys and stewardship plans.
• Manage the fundraising lead ads from meta and contacting them with the relevant information.
• Manage community fundraising enquires and challenge event registrations via the MQ website and other digital platforms such as Just Giving
• Assist with the development of community and challenge event marketing and stewardship materials
• Be a key point of contact for event organisers of third-party events, including Run for Charity
• Source and manage new opportunities for community fundraising and engagement, including schools, colleges and universities.
• Work closely with Marketing Team colleagues to develop community and challenge event marketing and stewardship material
• Upload challenge event opportunities to the MQ website.
• To support social media ads for community fundraising products and our challenge events.
• Reply to messages and moderate comments on our social media channels.
• Support the content team with additional content when needed e.g. social media posts, blogs etc.
• Send out supporter packs to new fundraisers when they initially sign up and fundraising materials when needed throughout the supporter journey
• Attend challenge events and community fundraising events as required to support MQ fundraisers (Will include some evenings and weekends)

About You:

This role is for you, if you have 1+ years’ experience in supporting community and events fundraising and track record of achieving financial targets and key objectives.

We need someone with experience of working on challenge events as well as knowledge of marketing and social media management.

You'll need to be organised, creative and proactive.

Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential.

Main purpose and scope of the role:

Parentkind is a national charity representing 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and has a long term ambition to be the voice of parents in policy making. 

We are looking for someone to support our work in Westminster and Whitehall, improving our relationships across Parliament and inside government as we seek to be the credible voice of parents in UK policy making. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of advocacy and policy research in Westminster, either within Parliament or government. If you have a passion for politics, a background in policy research and an interest in education policy and politics this is the role for you.

The role will involve:

• Conducting research on parents, including polling of parents and their views. We have an ambition to make high quality policy recommendations based on this research. 
• Alongside the research requirements of the role, you will be expected to support our political and broader stakeholder engagement activity to make sure the work we do is seen by the right people. 
• Organise and plan political events to communicate our research, including roundtables, lunches and dinners and launch events in Westminster. 
• Lead on responding to public consultations on behalf of Parentkind to ensure the voice of parents is heard in the public consultations.

Duties and key responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance & Legal Structure Coordination

• Support our internationalisation efforts and the set-up / registration of new country entities 

• Conclude & maintain necessary agreements (collaboration agreements, service agreements, contracts, and data protection agreements) between ProVeg International Inc. (US) and new and existing ProVeg legal entities, and liaise with external lawyers for advice

Trademark Coordination

• Manage, oversee and expand the trademark portfolio of ProVeg International Inc. 

• Coordinate infringements actions with a trademark law firm 

• Support the development of a trademark strategy

• Liaise/ manage contact with a trademark law firm 

International Legal Affairs Coordination

• Check and arrange international and national contracts and agreements for ProVeg C.I.C (UK) and ProVeg International Inc. (US) and liaise with external lawyers for advice

• Ensure organisational compliance and assess legal risks. Advise the Senior Leadership Team on mitigation

• Support ProVeg countries (provide templates for contracts etc. or general advice where possible)

Data Protection Coordination

• Act as internal data protection expert (GDPR etc.) and work with colleagues (e.g. Communications, Fundraising, Operations) on compliance and data protection implementation

• Manage, update, maintain and ensure compliance with GDPR and other international Data Protection Regulations 

• Ensure and monitor compliance with Data Protection Regulation for ProVeg’s International Departments and support countries with compliance with national Data Protection laws 

• Raise awareness of data protection compliance among staff and support data protection training

• Liaise with internal Data Protection Coordinator (Germany) and external Data Protection Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field required; graduate degree preferred

• Broad legal knowledge, particularly regarding data protection, contracts, governance, business law, and related regulations. Knowledge around employment law, Trademark, and other areas strongly preferred.

• Proven experience with a minimum of two to three years of working in a legal support role, ideally in the non-profit sector

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors, Heads and International Senior Leadership and Operations team)

• IT skills, including Google Docs, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets

• Self-starter personality with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills preferred

The Role
With support from your Manager, produce an income and expenditure budget for your area.
Provide accurate and timely monthly commentary to your manager.
Identity, plan and monitor progress of key activity (in the regional fundraising plan) to deliver the income and expenditure
Manage the activity of a range of local supporters and partner
Manage an agreed number of relationships across your area, ensuring that your supporters have the tools, resources, and support necessary.
Develop and support a portfolio of regional corporate partnerships.

The Candidate
Experience of fundraising, sales and/or customer service environment.

Your Role

We are seeking to recruit a Volunteering Adviser to join our team in the South East area. For us, this reaches from Swanage to Southend -on- Sea also includes London.

As a Volunteering Adviser, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, supporting the development of volunteering across the South East region, and the wider RNLI.

This will include:

• Implementation of initiatives to improve the volunteer experience.
• Developing sustainable opportunities along with taking a proactive approach to how we support and manage volunteers.
• Providing staff and volunteers with expert advice and guidance in all aspects of volunteering including areas such as recruitment, retention, problem solving and recognition.
• Supporting local implementation of the volunteering strategy.
• Assisting with the development of volunteer management toolkits and support managers in the use of these.
• Delivering volunteer management training workshops to diverse groups of volunteer managers both in person and virtually.
• Being an ambassador for volunteering and ensure it is championed at all levels.
• You will also be required to support a volunteering helpline service for approximately 2 weeks a year (until 8pm weekdays and 10am – 4pm weekends).

About You

To be our Volunteering Adviser you will need:

• Extensive volunteer management experience.
• Confidence in delivering face-to-face and virtual workshops.
• The ability to manage a complex workload.
• Experience in handling volunteering problem solving issues is desirable. In this role you will need to be able to work and plan autonomously. You will also need to have a proactive and flexible approach to work along with excellent interpersonal skills.
