A specialist Arts University based in central London is seeking an IT Support Manager for a full-time permanent role. The organisation is a prestigious arts focused University with around 600 students. They have two sites – one being the main teaching campus near Kings Cross, the other an art gallery with some teaching capacity, on the Strand.

The role is paying a starting salary of £50,942 per annum plus an excellent package including a leading pension and 36 days annual leave. The role will be based onsite predominantly at the Kings Cross site – working from home 1 day per week may be considered.

Reporting to the Head of Information Services, Systems & Technology (ISS&T)  and working in a small IT team of around 5 people, this role line manages 1 IT Support Officer and takes the lead on the service delivery aspects of the IT team. This covers frontline user support and managing the daily operations of the IT function. The organisation predominantly deploy Windows devices, but they have an increasing number of MACs so experience of supporting IOS would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will come from an IT Support/Manager background, should have experience managing small teams, and should have a strong user focus and service delivery background. Experience from within the Higher Education, Arts, Charity, or Membership sector would be advantageous for the role. The role will also involve the development of a new asset management tool and leading on a telephony focused project.

The post holder will:

-Manage the Service Desk for both sites and the relationship with the 3rd party providers 
-Monitor and report on existing service to assist in developing the IT & AV Support Service 
-Provide professional and technical leadership and operational management to the IT Helpdesk team with a dotted line to the AV Support team
-Implement service standards and develop common systems and processes based on industry best practice.
-Ensure that the IT & AV Support Service is efficient, effective and can adapt to changing circumstances. 
-Work alongside the Project Manager and IT Operations Manager in the delivery of IT projects 
-Provide technical, project and administrative support to the Head of ISS&T 
-Maintain and administer Active Directory and Entra user and service accounts 
-Maintain licensing for all software products and subscriptions 
-Support the Head of ISS&T with the purchase and invoicing of hardware, software a consumables 
-Manage and maintain IT asset information 
-Ensure documentation and alerts are publicised and maintained on the IT Services Hub 
-Manage increased IT service delivery required to support new and existing students during Welcome Week and the beginning of each new academic year

Candidate requirements:

-Degree level qualification and ITIL qualifications desirable 
-Recent proven experience of leading and developing an effective IT Support team and helpdesk service in a complex environment. Including setting targets, identifying training needs and delivering development plans
-Good technical knowledge of various hardware and software technologies including Windows, desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, MFDs, Microsoft OS, Mac OS, Microsoft Active Directory, M365, and Adobe.
-Recent experience in a Service Delivery role with experience of managing, allocating and monitoring IT support tickets, setting KPIs to improve service delivery, managing underperforming teams and suppliers, setting up new services such as staff onboarding, asset management, procurement etc & managing 3rd party suppliers
-Experience or an interest in the higher education, arts or charity sector advantageous

Primary function of the role
The primary function of the Finance & Operations Director is to manage the operational, financial and legal aspects of The Big House. The role works alongside the CEO/Artistic Director and Board of Trustees to oversee the strategic, business and financial management of the organisation, whilst also being responsible for HR and administrative processes.

Working with volunteers is a crucial aspect of this role. Engaging with both online and offline volunteers, you will provide them with the tools and support they need to amplify our campaigns. By creating compelling campaign assets, such as emails, toolkits, and reports, you will help to ensure our message reaches a wide audience.

You will represent the Association in collaborations with external stakeholders, including coalitions, to further our campaigning goals. Your efforts will contribute directly to the planning, execution, and evaluation of campaigns and events across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, ensuring we meet our objectives, deliver against targets, and make a tangible impact.

• Managing the care support provided to the Service Users in a non-judgemental way based upon trust, honesty, transparency, and professional standards
• Supporting Service Users with all daily living tasks and outings as appropriate and development reviews
• Supporting people when out in the community and promoting a better understanding and awareness of Learning Difficulties and Physical disability issues in the general community
• Liaising with other agencies / professional bodies, e.g. Community Learning Disability Services (CLDS), Commissioning Services, Social workers, Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists to achieve common goals & highlighting any areas of concern.
• Assisting in ensuring all appropriate records are maintained, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory body
• Legislation, in both written, electronic and multimedia form as appropriate.

Missing People exists to ease the heartache experienced by those missing someone, and to help people who are away from home find their way back to safety. Our vision is for every missing child, adult and family left behind to find help, hope and a safe way to reconnect. THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE

We are in a sound financial position – at the high end of our reserve’s policy – but are constantly aware of the challenges that face us such as cost of living etc. As a result, we are looking to scale our operations sustainably over the next few years. Your steer in that process will be vital as we strive to make an even bigger positive impact in the lives of those affected by missing.

You will be responsible for the financial management and strategic financial overview of the Charity. You will contribute to the corporate needs and development of the charity, with advice and input grounded in sound financial strategy and legal principles. You will maintain effective management systems and controls to safeguard the financial integrity of the charity and ensure that all departments are promptly and accurately informed about their financial performance and fulfil the role of Company Secretary.

Key projects you can expect to work on this year include investment in the future growth of the charity; and the procurement of new central systems software including finance software fit for a growing charity.

We’re looking for an experienced finance leader and a team player who is highly analytical, systematic and a great communicator. You’ll enjoy working organisation-wide and having input to strategic decisions. You’re a collaborator with a sense of purpose, who enjoys driving forward new finance projects, problem solving and enabling others. If you’re looking for a varied, challenging and rewarding role, where you can have genuine impact which benefits others in meaningful ways, then we’d love to hear from you.

You will have:

- Worked as a Finance Director in a similar size and/or larger organisation.
- Experience of strategic financial planning including budget cashflow preparation and offering support to non-financial staff with budgetary responsibility.
- Acted in the role of Company Secretary.
- Qualified chartered accountant or management accountant (FCA, ACCA, CIMA etc).
- Proficiency in the use of finance software systems and related software. 
- Knowledge of charity accounting standards, best practice financial management and key issues facing the sector i.e., SORP

Respect is seeking a Fundraising Manager to help us develop our fundraising programme and raise the funds we need to deliver the aims in our five-year strategy Stopping the Harm and ensure the ongoing sustainability of our organisation.

Our new Fundraising Manager will be flexible, creative and ambitious.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about our cause, has a tried and tested, successful approach to diversifying income streams and can bring our fundraising to life through effective framing and storytelling. 

This is a new and vital role which will sit within our Influence team. The post-holder will work closely with Respect’s Executive Leadership team (ELT) to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy with some administrative support from the Operations team.

It is an exciting time to be joining us. Respect celebrates our 25th birthday in 2025. We have been through a period of growth over the last 5 years and are stronger than ever. We work closely with our members and sister organisations in the violence against women and girls sector.
