This means you will have experience in stewarding and securing new gifts from foundations as well as researching new opportunities to apply for funds.

You will also be skilled in understanding and translating complex information and turning it in to compelling written proposals, for grants, corporate partnerships and major donors.

You will be driven to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest possible standards and be a sophisticated communicator with the confidence to build relationships with and inspire colleagues and donors.

We're seeking a Membership Growth Manager to work for the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), a non-profit professional membership body. The successful candidate will drive membership numbers by bringing on new large organisational members, individual members, and develop relationships with new business leads.

Quality Assurance Manager (Clinical Trials)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an innovative and independent Clinical Trials Unit (UKCRC fully registered) and help to deliver high-quality research in a unique and challenging setting. You will be key to helping us to successfully set-up and deliver an exciting new adaptive platform trial in paediatric intensive care as well as and helping our unit adapt ahead of conducting a phase II drug trial in critically-ill adults. You will ensure best practice, identify risks and mitigation strategies enhance local Standard Operating Procedures, interpret regulatory and audit requirements and provide guidance, training and support for clinical researchers and trial teams. The post will also involve leading in audits along with preparation for MHRA inspections.

What you will need to succeed

The Applicant must have clinical research experience and experience of conducting managing, auditing or monitoring according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice. A sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, the Data Protection Act and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and its amendments is essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills together with a high level of attention to detail. They must be able to work independently with a strong problem-solving ability. The ability to relate to and communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds are also essential.

Parentkind is a national charity representing 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and has a long term ambition to be the voice of parents in policy making. 

We are looking for someone to support our work in Westminster and Whitehall, improving our relationships across Parliament and inside government as we seek to be the credible voice of parents in UK policy making. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of advocacy and policy research in Westminster, either within Parliament or government. If you have a passion for politics, a background in policy research and an interest in education policy and politics this is the role for you.

The role will involve:

• Conducting research on parents, including polling of parents and their views. We have an ambition to make high quality policy recommendations based on this research. 
• Alongside the research requirements of the role, you will be expected to support our political and broader stakeholder engagement activity to make sure the work we do is seen by the right people. 
• Organise and plan political events to communicate our research, including roundtables, lunches and dinners and launch events in Westminster. 
• Lead on responding to public consultations on behalf of Parentkind to ensure the voice of parents is heard in the public consultations.

• To support the development of policy recommendations and experience of publishing policy related research.

Political engagement

To plan and organise political events, such as roundtable discussions, lunches and dinners and launch events in Westminster.

To identify political stakeholders relevant to our work in Parliament and the UK government, including:

• officials inside government departments,
• elected representatives,
•  think tanks and other relevant research institutions.

To maintain a wide range of political contacts and meet with political stakeholders to promote our research and policy work.

To meet with organisations with an interest in our work and provide effective briefings.

To attend party conferences and other education led events to represent Parentkind. 

Media engagement

To support the Director of Policy and Research in media engagement, including background research for press releases. 

To summarise our policy and research ready for social media platforms.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, youth-focused charity and play a pivotal role in driving forward YE’s programme and non-programme digital and web application infrastructure. 24/25 and beyond will be an important period for Young Enterprise as we embark on two key digital projects - the redevelopment of our organisational website and the development of a Teacher Portal that will serve as the primary interface with our educator community.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and committed individual. You will form an integral part of our IT and Programmes team, working closely with YE Programme Managers, application platform providers, and functional heads in contributing to the scoping, development, maintenance and integration of new and existing digital and web applications

We are looking for:

• Minimum of five year’s experience working in a project management and/or business analysis role in a technical environment
• Experience in supporting applications, application integration and data migration.
• Experience and understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MySQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience and understanding of common web CMS systems and administration of them (WordPress, Drupal)
• Ability to devise functional solutions for complex business problems.
• Experience in writing user Stories, creating user Journeys, or process mapping.
• Experience in application analysis and design.
• Maintains a professional and flexible approach to work and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills. A systematic and methodical approach to complex problem solving, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the ethos and behaviours required for excellent service provision.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to organise workload, and plan effectively to meet deadlines.
• Present a high standard of inter-personal communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels of computer literacy.

ROLE SUMMARY

ProVeg International is a growing network of currently eleven independent legal entities represented in twelve countries across four continents (Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, UK, and US). 

We are seeking an experienced and committed International Senior Legal Coordinator to oversee international legal aspects of ProVeg and coordinate our governance & legal structure, trademark portfolio, the international legal affairs and data protection topics. They will be a strategic thinker who can make the best decisions in line with our organisation’s vision, mission, and values. The goal is to guide ProVeg International as a whole towards compliance and efficiency, stability, growth and long-term success.

JOB DETAILS

Reports to: International Operations Team Lead

Department: International Operations

Location: Remote (ideally in the UK, NL, PL, CZ, or ES)

Hours: full-time (32-40h) 

Salary: Depending on experience and location: £27,000 - £35,000 gross per year for 1 FTE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance & Legal Structure Coordination

• Support our internationalisation efforts and the set-up / registration of new country entities 

• Conclude & maintain necessary agreements (collaboration agreements, service agreements, contracts, and data protection agreements) between ProVeg International Inc. (US) and new and existing ProVeg legal entities, and liaise with external lawyers for advice

Trademark Coordination

• Manage, oversee and expand the trademark portfolio of ProVeg International Inc. 

• Coordinate infringements actions with a trademark law firm 

• Support the development of a trademark strategy

• Liaise/ manage contact with a trademark law firm 

International Legal Affairs Coordination

• Check and arrange international and national contracts and agreements for ProVeg C.I.C (UK) and ProVeg International Inc. (US) and liaise with external lawyers for advice

• Ensure organisational compliance and assess legal risks. Advise the Senior Leadership Team on mitigation

• Support ProVeg countries (provide templates for contracts etc. or general advice where possible)

Data Protection Coordination

• Act as internal data protection expert (GDPR etc.) and work with colleagues (e.g. Communications, Fundraising, Operations) on compliance and data protection implementation

• Manage, update, maintain and ensure compliance with GDPR and other international Data Protection Regulations 

• Ensure and monitor compliance with Data Protection Regulation for ProVeg’s International Departments and support countries with compliance with national Data Protection laws 

• Raise awareness of data protection compliance among staff and support data protection training

• Liaise with internal Data Protection Coordinator (Germany) and external Data Protection Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field required; graduate degree preferred

• Broad legal knowledge, particularly regarding data protection, contracts, governance, business law, and related regulations. Knowledge around employment law, Trademark, and other areas strongly preferred.

• Proven experience with a minimum of two to three years of working in a legal support role, ideally in the non-profit sector

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors, Heads and International Senior Leadership and Operations team)

• IT skills, including Google Docs, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets

• Self-starter personality with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills preferred

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, rapidly growing nonprofit work environment

• Dedication to ProVeg’s mission & vision required; adherence to a vegan lifestyle strongly preferred

 Preferred:

• Background and experience in the field of finance is an advantage. The candidate with the right skill set could be offered a full-time role that combines Legal and Finance
