We are looking for two Individual Giving Fundraisers to join a team of over 10 to raise an incredible c£11m for a well loved national charity. One role will focus on general regular giving activities and campaigns and the other will be focussed on gaming.

These roles can be home based or London hybrid with 2 days a week in the London office.

The Charity:

The Role:
Develop the Marketing Plan for individual online and offline campaigns with all stakeholders, to meet agreed objectives, optimising campaigns in line with strategic priorities.

Manage the approach to audience targeting and segmentation, working with external media agencies for digital and cold direct mail campaigns.

Review artwork and copy to ensure it meets both campaign objectives, working with agencies to deliver a compelling creative concept relevant for the target audience.

Build and maintain campaign specific budgets and prepare detailed campaign management reports.

The Candidate:
Excellent understanding of all aspects of Direct Marketing techniques and methods for warm and cold activity.

Demonstrable experience of leading supporter development programmes involving a range of direct marketing techniques.

Experience of being responsible for managing and reporting on campaign budgets, and undertaking campaign analysis.

Additional considerations for the role

Travel to the Together for Childhood sites is an important part of the role. We would also be open to candidates seeking a secondment opportunity 

This is a 14-month maternity cover and will start in September 2024. About You:

With your proven experience of philanthropy fundraising, you’ll have personally secured 5 figure + gifts from a major donor. Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced responsive repairs professional who understands the multiple disciplines required to deliver this fast-paced area of the business, to join our small, but supportive, Housing & Neighbourhoods Team working on all aspects of repairs and maintenance. It is an interesting and varied role for an engaging, solution-focused person, with a passion for providing these types of services across ISHA portfolio and help keep our residents homes well maintained, and someone who wants to add value within an organisation.

You will bring your knowledge and experience by providing advice and support to various stake holders, staff and residents by keeping ISHA service and maintenance records up to date and be able to demonstrate a robust repairs and maintenance service is being maintained. You will work closely with the Head of Assets and Repairs in a generalist capacity, to support with continuous improvement across all service areas, while helping to support and achieve our organisational objectives.

• Coaching and advising Building Surveyors, Disrepair Coordinator and currently four repairs’ advisors.
• Ensuring that robust monitoring, reporting, and forecasting systems are in place.
• Contributing to the budget plan and compiling budget/KPI reports monthly, managing budgets for responsive repairs ensuring effective use of funds.
• You will be responsible for the delivery of our repairs and maintenance service to our residents’ homes ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved and KPIs are being met by our supply chain.

About the role:

This role is based in London and offers hybrid working both from home and our office in Singer Street. As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate for Male Victims you will:

• implement effective ways of working with male victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm
• provide a high-quality, front-line service to male victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
• initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims

You will need:

Main Responsibilities:

 · To process residents rent and payments received on the housing management system (Pyramid) in order to achieve rent collection and arrears targets.

· Ensure all housing debts are pursued with the resident and local authorities ensuring all actions are recorded and payment plans are agreed with the resident.

· Effectively implement the rent arrears procedure to ensure warnings and eviction notices are served in a timely manner and in accordance with legal procedures

· Pass to Finance colleagues all requests for relevant council tax payments from local authorities

· Ensure receipts from Surrey County Council are correctly allocated between rent accounts and any support element is recorded as Housing Support based on bank payments sent by the Finance team to the housing team. Provide Finance with this information so they can enter onto finance system

· Input bank credits to match bank receipts from finance and posting onto Pyramid (housing management system).

· Work closely with the Head of Finance and support them with the month end reconciliation of receipts and arrears balance

· Lead on Discretionary Housing Payments requests, benefit issues and enquiries with the local authorities

· Maintain accurate rent accounts on the Pyramid housing management system ensuring information is recorded accurately.

· Work closely with the Housing Team and Finance Team on rent and support income management developing good working relations with them.

· Represent the organization in court possessions and evictions where necessary.

· Run monthly rent reports as directed by Head of Housing and Head of Finance

· Work closely with the Finance Officer (income) in relation to any queries about rent charged and payments received.

· Provide cover for the Finance Officer (income) where needed (after training)

· Maintain and submission of pre-card card processes

· Meet with the Head of Finance, Head of Housing and Finance Officer (income) to review housing arrears monthly.

About the role and the London Adult Service:

The London Adult Service is a transformational service which aims to provide end-to-end support and casework to victims and witnesses of crime in London. The service is funded by the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and is a key part of the London criminal justice landscape. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our external interface with our stakeholders. The role will be home-based, but attendance at our London office may sometimes be required for meetings.

As a Digital Engagement and Partnerships Manager you'll:

• Promote the London adult digital services to encourage referrals into the service.
• Oversee the implementation of key digital initiatives, working with partners to ensure a joined up user journey.
• Work with key stakeholders to encourage feedback and continuous improvement of the service.
• Manage the digital elements of the service ensuring operational teams are provided with assistance, for example with developing webinars and online group activities.

This role takes a matrix approach, reporting to the Head of Digital within the Communications and Digital team and also to staff within the London Adult Service.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented fundraiser to join our small and supportive team. The Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations & Events) is a new role to our charity and will play a key part in supporting our future plans.

UP attracts significant support from individuals, and there is huge potential to grow income from Trusts and Foundations with this increased capacity in the fundraising team.

About the Role

The Head of Unlawful Detentions is responsible for overseeing Reprieve’s work on unlawful detentions, which comprises detention cases in North East Syria (NES), advocacy work with families of detainees in NES, support to those repatriated from NES, and our Guantánamo and Life after Guantánamo Projects.

Background on Unlawful Detentions Work

Reprieve was one of the very first organisations allowed inside Guantánamo. Since then, we have secured freedom for more than 80 men illegally detained without charge or trial, and we continue to support some of these men through our Life After Guantánamo project.

Reprieve also advocates for the release and repatriation of foreign nationals detained in camps and prisons in NES. We aim to ensure that detained individuals are treated in line with international law, and not subjected to the death penalty, extrajudicial execution, arbitrary detention, torture, or rendition. We also advocate for and support clients and their children after their release from arbitrary detention.

Through our work we aim to challenge and change flawed ‘War on Terror’ narratives and legal and political frameworks – including in the UK, Europe and the US – that engender state-sanctioned discrimination and abuse, undermine the rule of law and human rights, and create two-tiered layers of citizenship rights for ethnic minorities in Western countries.

About You

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies using a dynamic approach in which each of Reprieve’s methodologies—casework, investigation, litigation, political and public engagement, support for and (where possible and appropriate) advocacy with affected communities—connect with one another to achieve positive outcomes in individual client’s cases and address structural rights violations.

You will be enthusiastic about working for an organisation with Reprieve's mission and vision. You will have a minimum of five years’ experience line managing busy and diverse teams. You have significant legal and casework experience and experience managing a complex portfolio of cases. You will also have substantial advocacy experience, an understanding of campaigning, strong writing skills, and excellent attention to detail. 

You are a person with a high level of cultural competency, with direct lived or working experience with communities impacted by the so-called ‘War on Terror’ and/or relevant conflicts. You will ideally have experience working closely with clients, empowering them to play an active role in designing the advocacy and strategy adopted to address issues in their cases.  You will have sensitivity to the risks faced by those with whom we work and a demonstrated commitment to acting in the best interest of clients. You will have professional maturity, flexibility, and a willingness to put clients and Reprieve’s mission above all else.

In addition to being conversant in relevant legal systems, you are abreast of the domestic, regional, and geopolitical developments that impact on detention issues in the areas in which we work. You will also have a good understanding of the political and legal context of human rights violations carried out in the name of ‘counter-terrorism’, particularly in the UK, Europe, and the US, and of gender and trafficking issues. You will have the ability to develop targeted strategies to influence the policies and public conversations in these jurisdictions.

Salary, contract and location

The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance. Reprieve works across a number of jurisdictions; as such this is a role that may require work outside of core hours from time to time.
