About You

Our client have an opportunity to join and support the EDI team at a critical stage in The Trusts journey to becoming more inclusive. The Internship will provide the successful candidate with practical experience in a breadth of different aspects of EDI. Working at the heart of the leading network of environmental charities, this role supports individual Trusts, plus teams across Policy, Campaigning, Communities, Communications, Health, Education, and Human Resources.
This role provides a great opportunity to gain a wide-ranging knowledge of the different facets within conservation charities while making a positive difference in addressing barriers to nature.
No previous experience is necessary. However, they ask that you are passionate and eager to learn and support their work. You will support the Strategic Lead for EDI and the EDI Trainer and Advisor in their work. The Finance Officer will be a key member of the Finance Transactions Team and will undertake a varied and interesting range of Purchase ledger and Rents tasks.

About the Role

The job
We’re looking for someone to wear two hats.

This is a remote role with occasional travel.

Purpose of the role
As a member of the Business Support Team, the post holder will work closely with our leads and their teams to understand and support organisational and programme requirements across our diverse and exciting areas of interest.

Key Activities
- Liaise and work with leads with confidence, replying to external and internal queries where possible and escalating others as needed. Keep in regular contract with team members ensuring that they, alongside external stakeholders, understand the support the post holder can provide.
- Gather the necessary information to complete key contractual paperwork throughout the project lifecycle, including contract set up and the prompt receipt and processing of client contracts. Role Summary
The main function of the bookings team is to provide high quality customer service for the Into Film Festival. Initially this will be receiving calls, processing bookings and liaising with educators on email and on the phone.
