About You
We’re looking for an experienced and creative relationship manager with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. You are a proactive individual, with experience in shaping fundraising initiatives or similar projects effectively in partnership with key stakeholders. You are a positive team player with a professional, solution focused approach.
You’ll have:
- Proven experience of philanthropy fundraising or an equivalent field with a track record of initiating new high-value relationships and managing long-term donor/client relationships.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skills with great attention to detail, and an ability to digest complex programmes of research, flexing your style according to the audience.
- Experience and/or understanding of philanthropy within the healthcare and/or a medical research setting.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
About the Team
The Philanthropy Manager sits within the Philanthropy team – part of the Relationship Fundraising division within the wider Fundraising Directorate. The team focuses on securing gifts from high net-worth individuals and charitable foundations and manages a substantial high value programme. The Philanthropy Manager will sit within a sub-team of three fundraisers – a Philanthropy Executive, a Philanthropy Manager, with both being managed by a Senior Philanthropy Manager.

The role
The Supporter Care team is the first point of contact for all supporter and donor queries, so you will be at the frontline, engaging with a variety of people contacting Scope. The role of the Supporter Care Coordinator is to ensure that each of these people feels appreciated, informed, and satisfied after engaging with Scope, leaving them feeling valued and committed to giving their ongoing support.
You will:
- Be responsible for handling incoming queries from supporters, across telephone, email, and post, as well handling outbound supporter service calls and other communications.
- Process donations from different channels and sources, thanking supporters in a timely manner and maintaining good records of these actions.
- Report to the Supporter Care Team Leader, and sit within the wider Fundraising team.
- Work closely with colleagues across the directorate, providing support in key periods, and contributing to overall fundraising income goals and an improved supporter experience.

Role Requirements
- Support planning and changes in the administration of children and young people’s timetable for children and family services.
- Support with photocopying of notes for subject access/ solicitor requests (SARS).
- Manage the SARS and redacting process with appropriate members of the Therapies teams.
- Update logs and coordinate the Clinical and Safeguarding Supervision across the Therapies teams, escalating non-compliance where required.
- Monitor mandatory training compliance and administer booking processes for all relevant training sessions/course.

- Carry out audiotyping of clinic letters and distribute as required.
- Update absences within the teams onto the SMI (staff care) system, as requested by the Heads of Service.
- Place orders for any required equipment and/or resources for departments and for the children and young people as deemed necessary.
- Take overview of clinical asset ordering, linking with the clinical assets team and management system, in line with MHRA guidelines and the medical devices policy.
- Track and monitor equipment orders with Heads of service, escalate delays and provide a central overview for all equipment re-charges and ordering.
- Raise and receipt PO’s and invoices for the therapies directorate and liaise closely with the finance team.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Role Purpose
To support the development of high quality, trustworthy, current and effective information resources for the lupus community. This role plays an important part in our work to empower people living with lupus and supporting families and carers impacted by a diagnosis of lupus.

In this role, you will be working on a shift rota, which will include working early shifts: 8am - 3:30pm/4pm and /or late shifts: 3:30pm - 10:30pm and could include some weekends and bank holidays.
We may also have Trainee Floating Support Worker roles, working to support a caseload of people who are at greater risk of homelessness with a focus on addressing housing-related issues, improving quality of life and promoting independence. The Social Interest Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of psychological challenges in both mental and physical health realms. This encompasses adults within acute and forensic mental health community based services and residential community based accommodation, as well as people residing in their own homes, in the community and prisons. The spectrum of conditions and illnesses includes people with trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, Korsakoff syndrome, alcohol related brain damage, and challenges related to social isolation, family dynamics, and relationships.
In this role, you will manage a team of psychologists, a clinical lead, mental health nurses, substance misuse teams, and therapeutic leads, as well as providing overall leadership, expertise, and direction to the organisation to bridge gaps in knowledge, experience, and skills!
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based in Central Office (Islington) but will regularly be based within any of our services across London, Brighton, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool.
